Originally I planned on making the block upgradable. My idea was that normal block level 2 can take two hits, level 3 three, etc.. But again not enough time to implement..

Fun game.
Sometime a bit difficult to select a letter while it's moving (played from web, not iphone).
Cool concept and well implemented even if it gets repetitive.
One little thing we doing the jump with the 3 bars, you can simply spam space and it mostly work fine. Maybe not the wanted behavior.

Only downside is the fox movement. I think you finish the walk anim before stopping with makes it feel a bit unresponsive. However once you are used to it it's ok thouhg. Maybe it was on purpose.

Enjoyed playing it however it took me a lot of diggin before finding heroes to kill and relics which made the game a bit repetitive. Maybe smaller map or more actions! I might have been unlucky with the randomly generated map (?) though.

Liked the graphic style, stick man is fun :) However felt obstacles were unfair sometime, unless I missed a trick.

mrspeaker: I don't like to spoil but can give a clue maybe. Level 1 teach you that the only objective is to reach the purple square.

My train of though came more from adventure/exploration games. But yeah that's similar. Get item X to unlock area that allows to get item Y to unlock another area, etc...

Funny that you spotted the different type of movement algorithms. I spent lot of time trying to find best way for player movement but ended up having two separate classes: one for normal levels and one for grid based levels.
You mention frogger and that's exactly that. I got the idea for the level by thinking about this game. I also wanted to have a space invader like levels but forgot about it.
Madball: Aye. Yes level 4 is broken in the sense that you could get blocked and there are no enemies thus you can't reset by suicide. But why the heck you didn't moved straight :D
davidpeter: Believe me, if you would have found the secret level, you would know it for sure ;)
Good idea and fun, liked it. One thing that bother me was that you have to wait for the person to kind of randomly find the green spot. Would have preferred something faster i.e. go directly as soon as find a path.

Oh the static sound was a bit irritating but I guess it was on purpose because it means you are blocked.

I like the graphics and the audio, it contributes nicely to the mood of the game. However there is no way to loose?! Not really challenging. Something as simple as a timer would have made it I guess.

I enjoyed it a lot. The controls are very intuitive and the core of the game is interesting. Played it for a while and it was fun. I stopped because I noticed I had too much money and the creeps didn't seemed to be a threat anymore. Would definitely be interested by a post compo version. Don't hesitate to send me a tweet :)

I really like the graphical style of this one. Audio is cool as well, it fits perfectly. Gameplay wise it was a bit difficult to get used to the movement. But as we say, practice makes perfect.
Congrats for making an action game in text mode :D The game is fine but the levels were not challenging at all at the beginning and suddenly with level 7 it became super hard.

Awesome! At the beginning I was skeptic but once the mechanic kicks in, what a game! The idea of the R level is brilliant. Game is hard but not too hard. Maybe my only criticism is about the balance some levels were harder than the next one. But still that very much depend on the person who play and in 48H and no extensive play testing it's almost impossible to get right.

Nice idea with good implementation. I think I'm quite bad at it because I kept getting out of limit :/
I played on Windows and found two glitches:
-clicking the link tries to open the jar as a txt file (had to save it on desktop and rename).
-the level with the question mark is bugged. Looks like the visual doesn't match the collision grid. Still managed to find my way out.
So I tried, with my girlfriend. She didn't liked it :( She is picky though. I quite liked the game even if we didn't played long.
But I have to say the ship movement is really tricky, I guess some practice is needed to master it. Maybe it could be simplified?
This mechanic were you can create walls, and regarding their color, they let the bullet pass or bounce it. That's brilliant!

Little remark (not rating related): When packing the game in an archive, please put all folders/file in a main folder. Makes it much easier to unzip (we just have to drag the folder to desktop).

Kind of a gotcha game, almost stopped just before the end. But still was a pleasant, light, repetitive, door-opening experience.

Very good game! I liked the smooth controls and the overall feel of the game. It's also nice how the two modes influence the gameplay. When the bots are active I tend to stay and fire as much as I can (my arm hurt), when they are inactive I'm pushed to travel the map in order to hunt them down.
Will definitively be checking updates on that one.

Good job! The mechanic of the torch is very clever and works well with the theme. Didn't liked the physic/controls though. Also a few time Grog didn't wanted to move and jumping fixed that issue.

Very good entry! I was directly sold by the graphics but I was slightly skeptical about the gameplay. But after playing a while I really got into the game. Perhaps xp rate is a bit slow, needed to farm a bit too much. But it was ok. Congrats for the good game.

On a more serious note I quite liked the core mechanic but obviously the game was too short. What I didn't liked is the permadeath. Restarting and doing the same puzzles again was boring.
As far as your poll goes. 2d/3d doesn't matter much but as the gameplay is in 2D I would stick to 2D as this is much simpler to make. About story again both would do. All that matter is how you but the story in place and execute your wall game.

Was quite some fun to play, somehow reminded me a bit of Trine. You nicely used the theme and created something interesting out of it. One the negative side the character physic wasn't smooth, sometime got stuck while jumping...
Woow that was quite a cyberpunk ride :) Played the HTML5 version but the window is very small even with fullscreen mode (bug?). The game felt very hectic and sometimes there was a bit too much going on for me to follow. But this might be due to screen size.

Nice entry. I think the floppy mechanic has lot of potential and could lead to very interesting puzzles. 2nd stage wasn't using so much of them (I gave up after dying 30 times trying to avoid the spikes though).

Neat game with cool graphics. Liked how you have to manage the sword inertia in order to move efficiently. Didn't used the jump that much though. Good job!
For some reason this was lovely. Really enjoyed the gfx, music and mood!
Everything was perfect for me expect the jump. I prefer to have air control (I mean being to still move left/right while in air). But this is personal.
