How I want to spent hours playing this... This is so fun. Could you make an infinity version of this xD
Anyways, where's the YOGO?
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD28 → Dungeon Farmer

Strange idea but I like it. Fun game!
A fairly impressive little progression game, but it gets reasonably monotonous long before level ten. I quit at around level 4. Given how much of the game is waiting, it'd be nice if it didn't pause when it loses focus, and being able to loop-grow things would be nice too. Perhaps the monotony could have been broken up by introducing new mechanics and resources as you progress? I'm also not seeing the theme connection, myself
Awesome game!
My only gripe with it is that you can't tab out.
It's simple, straightforward, and the music was very good as well.
This'd be a lot more good if you can AFK this in the background...
But good game anyway :)
Thanks for the comments. The theme connection is in that you only have one of each of your equipment which you then upgrade. In addition when I planned it out you were going to start with only one seed, but I scrapped the seed mechanic completely as it was not adding anything and replaced it with infinite seeds which you level.
I liked the game, It was special, Though the music was a bit dull but still you did great.
Very interesting take on the auto-dungeon genre, you always have something to do. Well done.
Awesome! First Game played for this LD and was not disappointed.
took my over 45 minutes to beat haha, no LD game has kept me interested that long. Great work!!
I like this! I clocked it!
Also, where's the theme?
Really like the combination of dungeon-crawler with farming, it's unique.
Nice! Great work!
This captivated me for much longer than I anticipated. Great job!
I really like these sort of games, love little time waster =) and for 48 hours I'm impressed. The design could use some help but otherwise I was really entertained.
Cool tidy little game. Neat design and brought me back to my days of playing CandyBox. :)
Nice game. I might have been nice if the plants grew at different speeds, and if we had an icon showing the weapon/shield etc. I got up to level 4
nice game
but:
where is the yogo theme?
what does the ring do?
Great game! Reminds me of Progress Quest. Pause on focus lost is a bit annoying though.
Fun clicking game. Quite entertaining.
I love the game. My only complain is the autopausing. I found myself wanting to read webpages, etc, when waiting for my plants and found myself losing time.
You could definitely expand this out if you had the time.
Lacks in many aspects, but it's definetely fun!
This game would benefit from a way to change how fast time progresses, as at times the game is about as fun as watching grass grow ;-)
A visual representation of the adventurer in the dungeon could have really made it more appealing. Plus from the music. Minus from not really working the theme. Congrats on finishing!
I really nice idea, I like it. A great game considering it was made in only 48 hours!
Pretty good game :) it had some original aspects to it and I just loved the little events like "you see the truth" or "you see everything"! The pacing might have been a tad too slow, though. It's monotenous to have to sit still, not doing anything if you have everthing upgraded but still need to clear 7 rooms.
Quite fun. Agree that you should be able to leave the page while the plants grow and that the theme should be more obvious but apart from that it was good. Why do you get HP when you upgrade your weapon though?
It was surprisingly fun to play, really :) But hell were is the theme?
Really fun game! A novel genre mix. Well done
I don't really enjoy idle games and this game has nothing to do with the theme.
Simply game, but really fun. I didnt quite get the theme sadly. I enjoyed it and included it in my Ludum Dare 28 video compilation series, if you'd like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/sSLhI-W0qCg
Nice game!
You should develop this more afterward!
I just want to say, I finished the game. I tried to quit, but I had to just keep doing one more.
Oh where to start. First off I will say this is an awesome game! I don't know how long I took but I beat it. After reading the other comments I too wondered where the theme was, then I though about it and found it hidden all over the place! 1 of each seed, 1 weapon, 1 shield, 1 armour, 1 ring (to rule them all ;)), one potion and one adventurer. Oh also 1 dungeon...with multiple levels :)
Here are some things I noticed while playing.
1. Once you max out your equipment or grow pod at certain times it still goes blue allowing you to click on it. Of course it does nothing. But I would think if I maxed out thing out it would stay black.
2. The adventurer scales faster than the monsters in the dungeon. The bosses are a different story. Some of those seem fine. I would say if you wanted to continue work on this game I'd try to tweak the over all balance of adventurer upgrades and monster stats.
3. This is just a minor nitpick, but after I had maxed out all my equipment and grow pods I was still able to find upgrades. You may want to add a check to make sure those don't come up if everything is already at max level.
I would really like to see you expand on this game and make a post compo version of it. You're really onto something here and I feel if you expanded and polished it some more you could put it up on one of the web portals and perhaps get some money for all your hard work! But for what you have done in 48 hours is quite amazing. Good Job!
Nice game, really reminds of some idle-games I've played. It would be great if the ressources harvested themselves and you only got to change the type though, because it takes a lot of clicks to harvest and plant more than 5 pods. Great job overall!
NAME: YOU THERE...LOL!
