Good job on the artwork, and the you have a good base for a more complete game. Keep up the good work!

Good job on the artwork, and the you have a good base for a more complete game. Keep up the good work!
Who knew burning everything could so much fun, the game is far from complete but this is a lot you can do with this. You may want to check their growth, I noticed some slowdown when the map was covered in purple guys. Great work!
Tough controls and finicky physics, but overall has potential. Nice work.
Having to reload one bullet at a time is a nice touch, makes it a lot more dramatic. Was being able to aim only while standing still by design? Overall a fun game, good job!
All you need to do now is make more levels! Great work!
Very uniquely done action/puzzle game, great work! Any chance of adding more blocks, like ones to mess with your opponent? Great job!
Interesting way of introducing philosophy in the framework of a game.
Very interesting idea! It seems like a pretty solid foundation for you to build something really cool. Nice work!
Terrifying, and I didn't notice I only had one bullet until it was too late. Great job at build that atmosphere.
Fun concept and nice execution, sweet Vader bobble head =P It was crazy trying to balance everything the ship needed, especially just being thrown into the middle of. Nice work, can't wait to see what's in the back of the ship!
Simple but difficult gameplay. Great work! 19k points here
Fun take on defense games. I liked how you need to constantly expand outward where it gets harder and harder to keep an eye on and protect. Well done!
Fun mini games, now we want more! Nice work.
Interesting and unexpected take on the theme, also wasn't expecting the Simon Says xxx mini game =p
Though the game is a little buggy (warp drive gets stuck on sometimes, and the tether doesn't always seem to launch, also what's up with the red flare things?), it has some potential for expanding into a larger game. Not many towing large asteroid games out there, could be a cool mechanic to explore further. Anyways, nice work,
The invisible section and the way you introduced it was quite well done. Could use more audio than just the clock. Good job!
Very fun game mechanic, I was just a whirlwind of death and destruction. Felt a little unbalanced, them with no weapons and me with a giant flaming sword. Very well done, and you should continue development of this game.
Very good job at making this game so easy to learn but so nearly impossible to beat. You should spend some more time adding to and polishing this game since it's so much fun. Great work!
The Game of Life has been my 'Hello World' when learning a new language for years. It's cool seeing a unique take on the game that's pretty fun, even if it is a little too easy. I think you should explore this idea a bit more and try and expand on it. Great work!
Very unique concept, with a lot of potential if done right. It's a little difficult to complete with so few people on right now though. Two issues stand out to me, mouse controls don't seem to do anything, at least not in the web version, and what's the number text field for? Overall a cool idea, good job!
That intro was amazing, great work!
Best, and most entertaining, control scheme I've ever used. Great work!
Solid game, good job!
Funny writing, though not sure how I was convinced to do all those strange things.
Fun and simple game that turned out to be more challenging than it first appeared. Can't think of anything to change. Nice work, and loved the sound effects (Reminded me of matrix pong when I got a good rhythm =P).
Thank you all for your kind words. Along with playing all the submitted games, I've been hard at work implementing a more fully featured version of the game, including many of your suggestions. I'll host it on Newgrounds as a separate link.
The static looking bean was meant to show that you can only look out, that you don't actually know what you look like. Unfortunately, multiple system crashes during the last couple hours had me cut the story and music.
This is a cool game mechanic, you should really work on expanding it more. The game was a lot more fun when I realized I could control the guys, rather than having to push them. Good job!
Fun game, would be interesting to see it with the rift. Though you'd need to tone the landing head bob down a bit.
I was surprised by the ghost showing up, then confused when he launched me through the air. Not bad for having just learned Unity, though you may want to go through and fix the rotations of the ghost and one of the doors. Great atmosphere and good job.
Nice work on the game, even more so on the recent additions. You should allow users to skip through text faster.
Fun game! Definitely needs a boss, and changing the control scheme should probably be a bit farther away from your primary control buttons. Otherwise, great job.
Nice and simple, perhaps you could expand the idea with more math operations, like multiplication, division, and powers. Good job!
I thought it couldn't get any better when the zombies slowly killed themselves by tripping on the ninja star, that bulldozer proved me wrong. I agree with Darkcoder, it was just satisfying. Please turn this into a full game, great work.
Fun game, though a bit too easy with the AI rarely hitting. The tank began rolling around the x-axis a couples times while driving up a hill. You captured to spirit of the genre quite well, good job!
Fun game, tough boss. Just need to add some audio to bring it together. Good job!
Fun but rather difficult game. Unique control scheme, but you get used to it. Good job!
Cool way to do a turn based fighting game. Audio would be a huge help to the immersion of the game. Good job!
If you expand the game a bit more, this could make a decent speed typing educational game. Good job!
The music really set the mood well. Nice work!
Very fun journey through the galaxy. The difficulty in some levels makes finally achieving stable orbits feels so satisfying. Great work!
Interesting idea, perhaps allowing the player to get more information rather than just blind guessing and you could have a simple but fun game. Nice job and keep working on getting better!
Nice artwork and audio, but those stares... Only suggestion I can think of is adding shadows to all the terrain features, so you can better judge where they are. Good job!
Are you going to put the game back up?
I really liked this physics/twitch based mini-golf style game. It's a bit difficult at first, but fun the whole way through, nice work!
We have had a doozy of a day. Uh, there we were, mindin' our own business... when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, these kids started killin' themselves all over.
I tried so hard not to kill those crazy monks, but, alas, they had other plans.
Very well done artwork and music. Good job!
Funniest game I've played in a long time, we need expansions with more items and funny lines to go with them. Well done
Fun game, though the lower upgrades should be less expensive while the ultimate speed, which is an automatic win, should be more so. Good job!
Very interesting idea for a game. It has the basic framework for a very addictive game, just needs the features you already requested as well as blingy points to click on to buy more upgrades. I hope you develop this game farther. Good job!
Nice mood and a fun puzzle. Looking forward seeing more story added to it. Good job!
Fun way of trying to strike a balance between donating to those in need and acquiring more wealth to do so. Adding more immediate needs for the people and benefits (investing?) for getting more money could add a lot more depth to the game. Nice job exploring a unique concept.
Nice story, good job.
Fun and well made mechanic. This game could easily be expanded into much more, given more time. Great work!
Interesting concept, but don't have twitter.
Clean graphics and fun gameplay. Great work!
Well done puzzle game, though the physics seem to fight you a bit as you sometimes bounce around.
Most well done art I've seen so far, great work!
Very fun game that could be expanded into a full fledged game. I don't quite understand how the 'C' cube works though, as I seem to just drop if off behind me and fall into the abyss regardless. Good job!
Great presentation of the story, made flowing between the blocks mean something, while also giving direction when you hit a dead end. Great work!
Very interesting take on the auto-dungeon genre, you always have something to do. Well done.
Once you get some of your listed additions in, this could be a really fun game. Good job!
Amazing how much personality you crammed into those little block people. Well done!
Amazing artwork and an awesome take on bullet hells, great work. Also, good call on adding more lives, 3 was just brutal (not that 10 is much easier). I hope to see a whole 'line' of these.
Awesome model and arm flail. Way to stick it to the theme!
Really cool mechanic, I hope you keep working on it. It's too easy to forget what upgrades you already have as well as what each of the symbols mean. Nice work!
That death animation took me by surprise and was epic. Great job on the awesome music track and subtle clues for getting closer. Good job!
I couldn't seem to get the game to work on Chrome. It just has the background animation and a sign that looks like a carriage return symbol. I tried clicking everywhere but nothing happened. You should put instructions up for the game.
Fun game. You should have some marking for the floors since many places count the bottom floor as the 1st floor. Good job!
Great work on the graphics and large map. The battles get a little repetitive after a while, but this has a lot of potential for growth. Good job!
Cool idea, though sad to see the Pixar lamp hunted down like that =( The collision is a little off, like holding right when you hit space to start causes you to fall through the floor. Well done!
Great work with the music and animations, and a fun concept to play with too. The controls were a little awkward, but you get used to them. Nice work!
Very fun and addictive game, well done. It wouldn't take much to make this a polished and publishable game, hope you keep working on it.
Really cool and fast-paced mechanic. Expanding this with more types of attackers and defenders could make this a great game. Good job!
Not sure why you have the crazy controls listed when the normal wasd controls work too. Still a pretty fun game, good job.
Very interesting take on the theme, haven't seen games built around the idea of 1 fps. Nice work!
Very interesting concept to explore. Dialog choices and being able to speed up text would make this a much more engaging and interesting game. Nice work!
Beerdouken! Nice artwork and funny concept, well done!
Fun game, especially if further developed. It was pretty funny watching the guys crowd surfing due to the physics. More upgrades and a no-tag-backs rule for the infected should be added to make this an even more enjoyable game.
Great solid game with nice puzzles. Good job!
Fun gameplay and concept. Pollution and population seem to randomly drop to 0 sometimes, and population doesn't seem to be important for the win condition, only tech. 62 seconds! Good game!
Nice use of the theme, though competing interests would have made it more interesting. As it stands now, no industry is really the only option (I get the message), but finding balance and compromise is far more interesting and realistic. Good job!
What a rough way to start a level, an arrow to the face. A little work needs to be done on the difficulty curve as well as the collision checking (both platforms and arrows). Overall, a nice base for you to grow your skills with.
Awesome re-imagining of mastermind! The directions could be a bit more clear, perhaps some examples before starting. Otherwise, great work!
Awesome game mechanic, but so very hard to survive. Great work!
Very cool idea and well executed too. The game was a lot more interesting when I noticed I could move the ship. Great work!
Nice use of this mechanic, had me on the edge of my seat. Besides a couple glitches, like not being able to pick my spear up on the second level, it was a well done game.
Short but sweet. Nice work!
Great puzzle game, it's definitely open for a lot of growth if you keep working on it (new blocks, bigger maps, more complicated puzzles). The biggest problem is the lack of guidance during the first level, since the player doesn't know about blue blocks (I thought it was bugged). Great work!
Nice artwork and a fun semi-rhythm game style. Nice work.
Simple and fun game. It may be a bit too easy though, since every time after my first try I was able to make it the whole fall without hitting anything. Perhaps encouraging dangerous play would spice it up, giving boosts for smashing through the lines, encouraging players to switch colors more often in an attempt to get both white and black lines. All in all, it's a solid game, great work! Also, cool idea for temporary score boards.
Took me a couple tries to beat it, but that was rather intense. Losing parts of your controls on collisions as well as the voice acting were both nice touches. Adding some yaw controls would be very much appreciated. Great job!
Short but sweet, nice work on a very interesting concept. I hope you'll add more levels and variety after the compo. Great job!
Awesome awkward social situations and drinking simulator! I really liked the art style. Great work!
A fun and solid game with a nice selection of weapons. Adding weapon upgrades and different enemy types would be welcome additions. Good job!
Tough but fun game. The hit boxes felt off with some of my many deaths. Nice work!
That last level was brutal, well done! You may want to move the explosions level to a bit later in the game so players have better timing for the faster speed.
Fun game, that wall of fingers is kinda creepy though =p Though, while I was having fun, I noticed my fps dropping like crazy as I played, making it very difficult to time the jumps properly. Overall it's a well made game, good job!
Agree with the posters so far, fun and simple game, but maddening without checkpoints. Good job regardless!
Well written and a very interesting read. I liked the various points of view on the subject given by the other people. Good job.
Nice visuals and ambient music. The controls do take a bit of getting used to, but its fun powering the boat around corners. How many of those red crystals am I supposed to collect? Also, I got stuck on the lighthouse island trying to find out.
Really well done models with cool cell shading. The levels could use a little cleaning up, but it was an overall fun game. Nice work!
Great way of making people experience, first hand, the hardships that the poorest of this world must go through. Everyone survived and I graduated, but it was rough. Great game!
Yup, combo counters would turn this fun game into an amazing game! Great work!
Short but interesting game. You had a very good progression of difficult. Good job!
Very cool take on the theme. The game is difficult, but not too much so, except that airplane level =P My only gripe was that jumping felt too fast, especially compared to horizontal movement. The story was also really well done. Great work!
Very unique application of the theme with a lot of potential, though I can't say I'm much of a fan of the pools of acid. Well done.
Fun game and amazing music. The controls are a bit hard to get used to. Great work!
Awesome music! I'm sorry, space senorita, but I must go on without you ='( Great work!
Well done escape game. Only annoying problem was when multiple items are stacked on each other it's hard getting the one you want. Also, is there any reason to have anything other than cigarettes? Good job and nice music!
You got me, well done =)
Surprisingly fun for such a simple game, well done.
Nice set of choices and cool art style. Well done.
Interesting concept to play with, though I quickly got lost. For those having problems, it worked for me, just press the arrow keys to walk around.
Uhhh... lol, well played. Not sure how I feel about me killing every single person in that place, but I'd have to say it was worth it. Also, the table of 4 have their lines kind of messed up, you might want to fix the overflow. Good job!
Fun choice of music and excellent difficulty progression, well done!
Nice frenetic click-fest of a game. The game is short, sweet, and to the point, good job.
Hilarious, great work!
Very fun and nice solid controls (though auto-fire would be nice). Very well done!
Interesting concept, more games should espouse the wonders of RPN =P I was only ever able to get + signs and ever increasing values. This was even after getting every tile on the board connected in a single equation, I'm assuming that's a bug. Anyways, good job going in a different direction than most.
Fun game with some creative solutions, though I still can't get past the mighty Nibbles. Nice rendition of OAG too =P Great game!
It seems like it could be a rather interesting game, but it goes on for too long. You may want to either add borders or background to all the text, as it can be difficult to read at times. Good job on finishing your game, regardless.
Best hand shaking simulator I have ever played, hands down. The hat controls were a nice touch too. Only problem I had was I shook hands too well and ended the universe in a paradox. Good job!
Well that was brutal, and only one chance at the pain.
Well done graphics and interesting idea. The map is a little too big to keep my interest. I'm also not sure what everything did, like the mushrooms or the mush command. Regardless the game has potential, good job!
Very well done and very solid game. Great work! I hope you're planning on porting it to mobile.
Fun play style and satisfying kill physics. I did get stuck on a 2 player level at the end. I kill him 5 times and then that was it. Great work!
The game looks like it could be something very interesting, but right now it has a couple bugs that make it unplayable (You can still fix these under the rules, as far as I understand them).
After picking up the block, I seem unable to actually use it, even on the tower. After it goes in to build mode and I try to put it down, the camera goes back to my guy, then shows the block near the top of the screen whenever I press space. You can also fall off the map on the right side. A little more work and instructions could go a long ways with this game. Also, cool art style. I hope you continue working on this.
Strange but interesting game. Needs some work, such as people spawning in the ground). Cool concept though, good job!
Fun but very difficult game. It's quite satisfying mowing down a row of zombies as you run through shooting... until you miss once. It took me a little while to realize I had to go out and find the zombies, but all in all, a fun game that would be worth working on further. Good job!
Funny concept and awesome execution. Took a while to figure out what was going on, but after figuring it out it turned into a breakdancing fight to the death. Good job!
Great game! It was challenging, fun, and had well done audio. Good job!
I have a few minor issues with the game. Normally in games with a paddle that reflect bullets there is some control over the ball, for example if the ball hits the left side of the paddle it goes left. There is no such control in this game leading to the ball landing in one of only two or three places during the particular balls life. This also makes it much harder to hit any of the enemies with the ball, rather whether or not it hits any of them is entirely based on happenstance. My other issue with the game is the separation of the two game modes from breakout to bullet hell. Currently, it feels like the bullet hell game is just abruptly interrupting the breakout game without really fusing itself into it. Overall a decent game for this game jam.
I would rate it higher on innovation but I've seen physic tetris before. That said I do quite like this one.
er... doublepost...
Graphics are good, the game is a bit too easy. As a side note this doesn't fit the theme very well.
This was a good one... unfortunately now I have to rate you low on the theme because apparently bullet hell and metroidvania are indeed "compatible Genres," who'd have thought that. (jk about the poor theme vote)
@kr4ft3r Oh... um, I should probably mention that the game will take you to another screen once all of the bullets leave the screen. You stay there after death because the game wants to let all of the bullets go through to calculate your final score.
Its supposed to take you to a highscore page. Highscores were working until I made it HTML5... I didn't feel like fixing it so it doesn't save your score but the highscore screen is still there.
Like the others mentioned, the theme wasn't there. Other than that there isn't much to say about the game, it was rather standard.
One may pose the question "why isn't there any turn based platformers?" This... this is why. It was kind of funny though...
