Go Long!! by Andrew Brophy 2013-12-16T22:25:00
Confused as to how to start the game at first. But wow, that was hilarious :D

I don't think this needs a jump button. I like how i have to use the correct gun so i dont knock the enemies closer to the player. The mechanics are not perfect but its a good concept!
Since it takes some effort to hit the enemies, some more satisfying feedback for hitting the enemy would be great, (sounds or different frame)
The boss wasnt much of a challenge since single enemies doesn't seem to hurt you.
Shot my girlfriend by accident, nice little touch ;)
Interesting game, i think. Good work!
I like it, but i want to move faster (wouldn't mind faster cops too) and a different tile for where you started. Good work!
Hard as balls to get down from boxes without geeting shot. Music and audio recordings are great!
I liked the feeling of controlling multiple characters at the same time
Feels like alot of content and playtime in such a short dev time! Like the graphic style you went for too. Neat!
Around round 10 or so the game just closed. Played longer than i planned!
At first didn't know about the dodgy angle thing, but i got used to it (made the game more interesting). Played it longer than planned!
I like the idea, but i can't master the left and right jumping. Good work though!
Played through the whole game (to the "WIN"). I would play more of this! Small visual feedback for picking ammo perhaps? Or maybe let it be, it has its charm :) Great work!
Good work! Cool gameplay and graphics! Doesn't feel perfect, but cannot put my finger on it. One of my favorites this LD so far.
Bit clueless at first on what to do until i noticed the letters.
Good work!
Played 'til i got to the last level. Spent 1 hour on the last level before falling asleep (not kidding).
Good job!
Looks great and feels finished. Nice looking artstyle.
Replayed several times.
Reminds me of Super Smash's "Grab the coins" mode.
Good job!
Awesome :D
This made me inspired! The changing background colors were fitting for the scene you were describing. Reminded me of "He Who Journeys Eternity: Lost Odyssey: A Thousand Years of Dreams" on Lost Odyssey on Xbox360.
Some minor issues:
- Continue button doesn't seem to appear sometimes. I think you had to scroll since the ludum iframe doesn't fit perhaps.
- You can see text by Ctrl+Alt.
- Small typos.

Would be more fun if you were faster and could kill enemies instead of being hiding and farming for points. You have a big level going on so why not use it ;)
"Data folder not found"
This game had me thinking alot.
The intro hooked me in, great! First level was kinda slow and i though all i would do the entire game would be a Up-Down pattern game (which felt like backtracking, up and down, up and down).
Level 2 though, i could immediately see the point!
I like this game. I might even buy something like this if it were more polished with alot of levels and whatnot. I have only played the first two, so i don't know the others movement yet.
Music is great! Fits the mood of the game and the kinda "slowness" and "be veeery careful" not to hit obstacles.
Something about the intermission screen just fits.
Things that could be improved:
- Shorter intro level to hook the player in. Long passages there.
- Level 2 is kinda hard for just introducing new gameplay. Maybe checkpoints? People get batshit frustrated by "only one life", huge level games (i made one of those LD28). It sure is a good "challenge" game i might try to beat sometime because I'm so damn stubborn!
- Controls are kinda confusing when concentrating on staying alive. Why not set change direction on the same player button? Don't sue me if i hack it.
- How do i quit the game?
Great job and continue making great games!

Couldn't figure it out. Tried putting catfood here and there. Is there feedback for feeding them correctly?
Love it! Feel inspired to do a poop game too! Poop is great.
Love the graphics and sound
Too much hp for eash poop. Good work though!
Hard to understand at first, but when you get it, it's kinda cool. I've never built a town this fast in a building game before, and you HAVE to build fast! Quite different from games where you have more time to decide. Interesting!
First thing i wanted to do was to lose on purpose to see some cool death animation or ending. Slightly dissapiointed but also amused by the anti-climactic black screen. Lovely graphics and lots of small gameplay details/secrets. Good job!
Finally some classic arcade action. The only thing i can think of is: let me reset game by keyboard and not only mouse. Good work!
Couldn't stop playing for awhile. Difficulty is a bit too varied sometimes (or maybe its just me). Nice touch with the music
Simulation of someone with sensory overload IRL. Every "noise cube" is like a loud person/speaker or strong light. It's similar to what I feel (buzz buzz BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ)
I'm impressed by the amount of work put into this short time. Good quality too! Almost looks like a commercial game on steam or other platform. Character design is cool too. Took me 35 minutes to beat it. I accidentally went the same route twice since i didn't remember which way i did last time. Some jumps were hard and took me some dozen tries to get right. Even pretending the game didn't have the noise cubes; it's a fun platformer in itself, with trying to find a good perspective with the camera and getting a good jump.
Even the level environment itself weren't too generic either. There's some interesting designs going on with the big floating blocks going on.
Really good job!
Super interesting game mechanic with the "Dual game" going on. Needs a reset button though!
Impressive amount of work on such little time!
