I really love the design of the character and the art style in general. I also enjoy games that use sound effects made using the developers own body (always amusing). For improvements I would suggest adding more user feedback (I wasn't aware that my tears were actually damaging the toaster, so it would be good if they reacted in some way - e.g. flash slightly, shake a bit, something like that).

the funkiest game ive ever played

exezin 2017-12-05 20:18

I think I ate a frying pan at one point

Cool game!

what is my arms

what is my legs

I love them

at first I thought I was supposed to collect all the calories but now I have learned a valuable lesson

This is an interesting idea for a shmup having the enemies fire what are essentially power-ups but also having a limit on how many you can collect before losing. I also got confused at first and thought you were meant to collect the food items so that might need to be made more clear to the player.

The feedback for eating food was so great I thought at firt it was the goal, then I got it didn't give points, then I understood it was both a power up both the way to loose... Hence pretty confusing but overall quite great!

Pretty funny idea for the theme. The art looked great and it played pretty well. Good job!

Nice way to add some challenge to a SHMUP. FYI the embed link doesn't seem to work.

Hilarious concept. The sound effects had me cracking up. I don't think the point of the game was to eat but that was my goal lol. Great game, loved it!

frederika 2017-12-08 03:09

Fun game, I actually liked that it wasn't entirely clear what you were supposed to do initially and that the food pretty much tried to jump into your mouth. I really got into playing it!

Great funk music smooth movement but in my opinion shooting was unnecessary and useless

mr-madcat 2017-12-08 13:54

Pretty cool. It took me a while to understand the concept, but once I got it, it was actually pretty fun. A bit more feedback might indeed be helpful, but otherwise, well done.

The music is indeed funky. The human was indeed chunky. I lost.

Funny game, but I think it needs more polish (feedbacks, more levels, etc.)

(and I had strange things: didn't see my score at the end and "high score" was always 0. I don't know what is the /30 thing (I was very high further) and what the level code is? I only had one level, then it ended...)

Just can't stop laughing! =D Great concept, hilarious graphics! A game looks like a psychodelic dream about food. I love the idea of width increasing. The game definitly needs more polish like some visual feedback for things you destroy. Also, the aim is not clear, I think that in-game tips would be handy (like "press SPACE to shoot").

joror 2017-12-10 22:13

Weird but strangely fitting - a nice r-type-fat-fighter! :D

Shooting gets a bit monotonous after a bit, that that is my general gripe with the genre ;) would have loved some 'bomb' type things.

Otherwise solidly wacky!

First thing i wanted to do was to lose on purpose to see some cool death animation or ending. Slightly dissapiointed but also amused by the anti-climactic black screen. Lovely graphics and lots of small gameplay details/secrets. Good job!

picapica 2017-12-13 00:06

Cute body horror! I didn't fully understand the mechanics, and like others have said, some more feedback would be nice. But it was very enjoyable nonetheless! I wanted to eat everything...

pecolyte 2017-12-15 17:08

Funny and interesting, keeping the power at a certain level that can avoid too much food on the screen, which is the strategy I used. Well done!
