The graphics are simple but not boring. The gameplay is a little bland, but everything works well. I had to give a score of 1 on audio for the loud audio on game over screen.

@unentokku and @zubspace , thank you for your positive comments about the visuals! I worked really hard to make assets that were low-ish poly, had low res posterized non-filtered textures (usually 128x128 pixels), and importantly had the shading hand-painted. Sometimes it looks off when the dark bottom of an object is sitting on well lit ground, but all the lighting and shading you see in game is manually painted (by painting shades of grey vertex colors); there are no dynamic light objects. Hopefully this gives you some ideas if you would like to try this style in the future. ^_^ -Quinn (graphics lead)
This feels very ambitious on the coding side, and I didnt see anything that looked like a bug. Unfortunately, the text above the victims' heads is too hard to read most of the time due to movement, overlapping with other text boxes, and bad font and color choice. The difficulty of the game was essentially squinting, trying to read, and then just getting interrupted in that process constantly. Props for the ambitious attempt.
Like others are saying the mechanics were kind of unclear, but this game had a lot of charm. Sucking eyeballs and shooting bones out of a vacuum is just a joyous thing.
The aesthetic and function of the interface felt very polished and crisp. It felt like I was using a very sturdy, well-constructed application.
I love your sprites! But I never like the look of the hi-res light objects mixed with pixel art, those lights kinda ruined the magic of your artwork. Also, even though its a simple sidescroller, I was motivated to play until the end. Great mood, and cute little game.
This was a wonderful acid trip experience. I think the fact that your blue orb of water can just roll off the screen is a bold avant-garde choice.
Easily the best one I've played so far this jam. Everything about it is solid. A standout entry!
Very cute. Cute graphics. Graphics were round and bouncin'. I laughed a few times. I appreciate it's in browser.
great mechanics, solid everything else. Music is generic.
Good graphics and polish. No sound. It's definitely a puzzle.
Game looked appetizing but both files crashed on hitting play for me.
Ambitious game. Controls weren't smooth enough to make me want to figure it out. Flight of the Bumblebee is getting you humor points not audio points.
Visuals are quite good. I appreciate that you didn't get pulled down into an obvious implementation of the theme. Gaemplay-wise I had an issue with sometimes being attack while obscured by the foreground.
I give you credit for a unique use of the theme (not generic or obvious). I liked this idea that coins made you fast in the first level. However I did not bother playing past the first few jumps due to the controls feeling poorly tuned. All-around decent presentation, but the platforming controls just feel frustrating. Its a hard thing to dial in.
Really liked this. I also did not know I had reached the end for sure, walked around in The Light for a bit, but I think that's an ok abstract way to do it. The graphics were really interesting for how simple they were. Felt very much in the vibe of Antichamber. Great work. My only criticism is just a bunch of text at the beginning for tutorial that I didn't quite remember and couldn't test the controls as they were described.
I have to be honest, looking at the thumbnails I was not expecting to give such high scores for this game. Everything about it was charming. I did die to the bat not knowing how to kill it and the game just softlocked. But I actually laughed and it was a unique experience.
Good graphics and audio. Nice presentation and gameplay. A little unforgiving for my tastes, so didn't get too far with it. Sometimes it wasn't clear what was going to be background or collision foreground.
Awesome game. I got to the final boss but could not beat it, but it felt like I could have if I had been more careful. Game felt unique, polished, functional, and engaging to play.
Awesome game. This solid of a emotional/narrative vibe is rare for a jam game. Visuals were solid as well, though I did detect some shortcuts on some of the pixel art (car crash frames specifically). Great work.
I'm sorry but I did laugh at the line: "I didn't look at the road."
Don't text and drive, everyone.
This game is not trash. It rules. It makes me so happy. So good, jeez.
Web version worked well for me, though you have a lot of invisible collision issues. This was a rare jam game that was actually enjoyable to play. The basic gameplay was fun, and the premise was engaging enough to keep me going all the way to the end. But at what cost...
Really solid and satisfying. The mining interface is cool and it makes it feel good to click and hold. Graphics are nice and crisp, good color choice, but the generic font broke the immersion a little bit. I like it.
Charming graphics. Obviously the gameplay is minimal, but it works just right. I could see having this as nice little desktop app to open to kill a few minutes at work.
Move truck get out the way
Really cute sprites, unique game idea, could definitely see this developed into something worth paying for. Great job.
This was one of the best psychedelic experiences I have had on weed in a good while.
I was intrigued.
The the camera was a difficult first boss. But otherwise I liked.
