That was very frustrating to finish, but I did it. Movement is just very slippery and sluggish, so that one level where you had to basically wind your way around a tightrope was absolute misery. I think if the reset button worked (this could just be a problem on my end) then it wouldn't be nearly as painful, but having to sit there for five seconds while your guy is falling into the abyss, just to know you'll have to do it all over again, and probably fall in the abyss for another five seconds, genuinely made me more angry than any rage game I've ever played. The camera is also extremely wonky, so the level where you are spinning around a pillar was really annoying. I did actually like this game, though. The tightrope level was such an absurd challenge with the movement that it was unbelievably satisfying to overcome it. Sorry if my feedback is way too harsh. I honestly did like your game, or else I wouldn't have bothered to finish it, but it's a little rough around the edges.

I liked the graphics so much! R button didn't work though.

Nice game that is really on theme. I succeeded in finish it after a few tries ! The graphics are solid and the level design is solid. I did find the mouse control a bit funky when playing on the web version and maybe having a signal placed at the beginning would feel better. Also maybe have a little more variety on the music because it gets tiring pretty fast ^^' In any case, it's overall a solid game ! Good Job

Trot is FREEE !

Great game ! As fun as it is difficult (a bit because of the janky cam)

Excelent mood created by the story / music / visuel !

This was super hard for me, but so awesome!! I really loved the main mechanic, it was super cool, and you kept finding new, interesting ways to use it! Like in the third level, where you wanted to intentionally keep your signal low to follow the precise narrow bridges - loved it! All of them were great though. I also really liked the graphics here!

The difficulty was heavily frontloaded, though - although a big part of it I think is that I'm not used to inverted camera mouse controls (I always invert it (like the invertion(you get it I hope)) in games), and constantly lost the camera due to my opposite muscle memory - I know it's hard to find time for it in the time limit but I'd really love a toggle for this! It also took me forever to understand how to beat the second level - it felt like the tower on for eternity and I kept running out of signal blocks - but once I did I really liked it! I also wanted to complain about how slippery you were with max signal, but level 3's gimmick completely justifies that :)

The one upside of the difficulty is that winning felt SO good - I was so happy once I managed to beat it! And it was never ragequit or unfair difficulty really, mostly my faulty camera muscle memory kept killing me :) Overall, I had a ton of fun, thanks for this!!

The graphics are excellent - some of the best I've seen on here, and very unique. I also really like the idea of a tether platformer. Would have wanted some sound effects and musical variety. The inverted mouse camera was brutal, just because it's so unintuitive and takes a lot of practice to get right. But it's important to create different kinds of things that challenge the player, and this is the perfect setting to experiment. Really nice job overall!

love the art, the inverted camera was a bit annoying tho

This game was lovely!!! Clear effort on the art and the level design was quite nice! Fun despite the camera difficulties!! Overall amazing take on the concept and wonderful work overall.

When I was a child, my dad had a black and white laptop. It had this robot game that had robot faces similar to this game (although it was on a grid, it had a similar 3D style). Scared the hell out of me. This game really reminds me of that retro style which I like a lot

I think you should probably have a permanent battery at the start of the levels so players can restart faster. Also either a coyote time or a larger downward check for jumping, because in level 2 when I try to jump off that first platform it often doesn't register.

Trot has escaped the poly-verse with me as well! I struggled a bit with the level with the small path with the tight corners, but I made it through in the end! Feels super satisfying to try different signal placements to jump through the levels, I especially felt tactical in the tower level, taking verticality in account, and the final level, spacing out the signals to just get enough juice to make it to the end, super fun! And in the aforementioned tight path level, a tactical signal to jump over most of it. Super satisfying to figure stuff like that out, combines the best of a puzzle game and a platformer!

The music and art style gave it a nice sci-fi aesthetic and mood. Trot is cute, the screen face and the monowheel also have that cool retro-sci-fi aesthetic, I think. Great game all around, very well done!

Honestly didn't fully get how to play, jumped through the first level but got stuck on the second. But I really dug the creepy vibe, and that robot's mug especially =)

Platforming was kinda hard for me. I liked the athmosphere and the visuals

zimennik 2026-04-28 09:45

The game fits the theme perfectly. The controls took some getting used to at first (I'm really not a fan of inverted camera controls), but after a few attempts I adjusted.

The graphics are solid, and the music suits the theme well without being annoying.

The the camera was a difficult first boss. But otherwise I liked.

smugsman 2026-04-30 14:12

I dont know if this was your goal but its amazing how enraging youve made this whole experience. The black number on the black background, the extremely slow movement, the fact that you never know how many signals youll need, the hyper sensitive no friction floor, level two, the eternal death animation, and the music resetting upon every death. The fact that you as one person made this is amaing. We also thought of making something with doom directional faces during planning but it was supposedely "too hard". This game is very technically stable. I just wish it had slightly more polish.

steveofstevesgames 2026-04-30 14:59

That was hard but fun. I had to quit while i was playing and i just can't bring myself to do that tower again, i think i got to level 3(maybe 2). Awesome graphics and music.

tesseract 2026-04-30 20:18

Inverted mouse controls are not for me, particular in an environment where they keep sending me back to the start. I eventually got past the first level. The music and graphics were cool though.

silentwander 2026-05-08 13:49

Wonderfully inventive design. The graphics are quite good, the level design is solid, the theme is applied really well, and the music is nice too. I think this kind of unconventional setup is exactly what needs to be showcased here—so you can get more honest voices in return. Overall, well done!
