Well done! Very cool iteration on this kind of game and genre. I liked that you could actually switch the mode in the UI with the mouse, and then move the mining UI with the mouse too. Felt like taking the controls of a real ship!

Very nice diegetic UI. Very simple game that obviously had a lot of love put into it. Glad you were able to finish your game in time. Linux port will be welcome but happy to inform you it works well in WINE too :)

Hi there! Solid game, nice UI and floaty character controller feels very natural. Unfortunately, there was not music and sfx

Thanks for all your nice feedback. I always wanted to make a game like this. Originally wanted to make even more complex UI interactions, but as always... things got in the way. And music and SFX are unfortunately what I drop when I'm out of time :( It's great to know it works with WINE, and I'm always happy to hear from fellow Linux users, but it was about time I ported it. No idea why I never did before!

The first few tries I always kept dying to the asteroid blast after mining but managed to finish it after couple of tries. Really enjoyed this one ;)

Litteraly Star Citizen without the bugs and cost aha.

Seriously : eally nice game, its on point, really beautiful with some retro vide (especially the mining process). No sound for me, but loved it !

As there's an element of environmental hazard with the destruction of the asteroids I though there would be some hazard on the harder level, but still, impressive and lovely.

Such a cool UI and awesome gameplay! Also fits the theme very well. The only problem is that I didn't realize that the Cargo: 00/08 actually mean you should collect at least 8 cargos and thought that 8 is the maximum capacity. Didn't affect the experience much, though, and it is amazing that you managed to use python to make such a good game.

This is lovely! It reminds me somewhat of "In other waters" which I am a big fan of. Tricky gameplay here but I kinda like that. Great work.

I liked the UI too! A bit difficult for me to master. But I really like the feeling of the loop, drift, mine, collect, deliver

so cool!

I did not know that pygame can make such game! Really nice entry!

Really love the graphical coherence of your game. Took me time to see the "cargo" number like said above. but other things were pretty easy to understand. Well done!

Nice job! :D It was a decent game. Very cool to play. Python games are always a treat hah!

Really solid and satisfying. The mining interface is cool and it makes it feel good to click and hold. Graphics are nice and crisp, good color choice, but the generic font broke the immersion a little bit. I like it.

profugo-barbatus 2025-10-12 05:42

Not bad, I liked the visuals, just wish we had some audio. Only thing I didn't like was overlapping asteroids, was mildly annoying to have ores just get stuck inside another rock. The game was overall very easy, but I enjoyed risking it with inertial dampeners off, to minimize fuel burn for some self imposed difficulty.

Loved the game I am wondering are you gonna update this further?

kahztein 2025-10-20 21:26

Nice game! Feels like something that would've fit quite well on one of the old retro handhelds.
