Interesting idea, but the game itself is confusing at best and tedious at worst. I also have to wonder why it was 3D instead of 2D.
Awesome idea, too bad it doesn't work out too well in practice though...
Both dropbox links are 404'd for me.
Fun game, but I keep dying on the second level for some unknown reason. No enemies are around and I didn't run out of time so I have no idea how it keeps happening.
Let me try to explain what I just played. When I press the arrow keys the the colorful square sperm swim around, and I can also hit space to turn off the lights. When I'm done with that, I press enter and have the game tell me that I lost.
This is what people mean when they talk about pretentious, meaningless art games.
Really good idea, I feel like it could have been implemented a bit better.
Cool idea but there were a lot of things that got on my nerves. I don't understand why I can't backspace. Since most of the words I'm supposed to type are made-up nonsense words, I constantly made typos. The word I'm typing is useless after I've made the typo, so I have to press enter to erase the word and try typing it again. This became incredibly annoying after the first few typing errors. It was also annoying to make a typo because the nonsense word would ofter disappear after making the error. I'm also not quite sure why there are four separate numbers for the gifts since the game ends when all of the numbers decrease to zero. Why not combine them into one number so that it's easier to see my progress? Finally, the shoppers come at you very slowly. It was easy to beat even with the problems I've described.
Really nice graphics. The game itself on the other hand gets to be way too difficult, and the drum beats from pressing the arrow keys don't fit with the song at all.
I ended up getting stuck inside a platform one time after I crashed the helicopter.
The lighting effects are very nice.
Very hard, but the art is phenomenal.
I can't restart the game after I die?
I would have loved to see more in this game...
I really liked the wall of NO at the end. Good enough for a Twine game.
The website is down for me. I'm not sure what's up with that.
It's very hard to see this game even with the lantern. And as other people have already pointed out, it's really hard to use the controls.
Very cool idea. It gets a bit difficult after a few levels.
This is spot on. This is one of the funniest games I've played. Good luck.
This game play is really good, but it gets so frustrating when I get past a big chunk of the game and have to start over from the very first room. Also #YOLOOOOOOOO
I can dig it.
Interesting idea, but there's not any way to win.
Cool idea, but there's really no definitive way to guess the killer other than random guessing. I also don't understand why the characters shake from time to time.
This is a really cool concept. You can skip all the cupcakes and rush to the end though, which is kind of lame. Still, this is grade A stuff.
The game crashed for me after I chose start in the main menu.
@McDonaldsWizard The first thing that comes to mind is that you may have an old version of Java. Update Java on your computer and then try running it again.
@Scipio Xaos Very observant, though I kept the rapid firing in the game intentionally and actually designed much of the game around that mechanic. Did you notice the wall of bullets in front of the final boss? That was put there so you wouldn't be able get close enough to use the rapid fire on the boss.
@Christina I just wanted to apologize in advance mostly because smoking is a touchy subject and a baby smoking a cigarette is pretty messed up if you think about it too hard.
I find this game incredibly confusing. The controls are bonkers.
This game seems like it has a clever idea but I just can't figure the mechanics.
It was a bit hard to get my head around the controls, but once I got used to it I liked this game very much.
This is actually really good. At least it's not totally broken like some of the other games I've played.
Weird aesthetic. It kind of creeps me out.
The dinosaur's hitbox is big as hell.
Really cool concept, I wish it started zoomed out though. I'm not sure I got to the end of the game or not, but when I complete the level where you start out as 39, I get brought to the start of that level again.
#smokeweedeveryday
Cool idea, a little confusing.
Nice attempt, but there isn't much game here. Also the paint buckets seem unnecessary since all of them are unavoidable except for the first one.
Interesting idea, not much gameplay.
Great pixel art.
@MaddeStudios I know what you mean. The game works well enough, but there's nothing specific that's really amazing about it.
@ehtd Thanks for testing it!
@Liberal Games Thanks for your feedback. It actually is possible to collect all of the stars even when you're in the middle of the wave. If you shorten the period by pressing left, your characters travel along the sine waves faster. Though it's not exactly an intuitive mechanic...
Interesting idea. Aiming very hard to do though.
I agree with sharpcoder, I was really confused playing the game at first. I'm still not quite sure how to teleport characters between worlds? Do I need to walk up to them or does it work if I just look at them?
Great concept. I really liked the potted plant level.
The graphics weren't working for me with the GameJolt link, but it worked fine in the other browser.
Impressive code, but having to center the mouse every time I turn got tiring and the ability to strafe would have been useful.
Amazing concept!
Great visuals. This is one of the best-looking Ludum Dare games I've seen.
Very strange game. I got up to wave 11.
Cool game. I didn't realize that the circles were bad to collect at first though, haha.
I like flinging the nunchuks at people. I wish it had more impact though.
I like the game play. It's very reminiscent of Chips Challenge.
This game is very very dark. I had a hard time seeing the door at the beginning.
I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but I was able to score additional points for shooting enemies that I had already shot.
I ended up getting lost in the town :(
This game moves very fast.
This game is too crazy for me. It's a ton fun.
Playing this game is very confusing. I finished the first level without understanding the mechanics.
Interesting idea, but I'm not sure what to do after exploring all the planets.
