Didn't really have much to do with the theme, and le sigh on another platformer. Good graphics.
This is one of those games that makes me think "Okay, he made a soccer game before the competition and then changed it up in 48 hours" Great game, but I think this is another example of the theme hole. There needs to be multiple categories other than 'theme' in order to make entries believable.
P.s. don't listen to people who say "It's too hard", games should be challenging!!
I remember when Super Mario 1 was 'too hard'.
Oh and may I note now the timelapse. Good job!
I sighed at yet ANOTHER platformer, but hey, this was really well done. Lots of animation and very good stable code. Might be a winner here.
Great entry
Took me a second to get it, then I got it. Funny stuff. It flickered on Windows XP in Oracle's Virtual Box.
Just couldn't get it compiled. Sorry.
It was very stylish and the physics were bang-up. The levels were unexpectedly short. The music didn't quite fit the graphics. Would like to see a more detailed and complete version of this. P.s. what's the light for?
Couldn't run it on 64 bit it seems.
Sorry, all I got was music and a blank screen.
I liked the innovative idea before I started, but the execution didn't seem to work for me. I couldn't turn on axis. I think this entry is technically a 'level' or a 'level/texture pack' since I'm pretty sure you didn't write the bulk of the game logic scripts like walking/mouse view/head bob, level designer, etc. I'm not sure what the rules are on that sort of thing.
Wonderful and innovative use of the theme. This should be one of if not the top entry for innovation.
Sorry, couldn't seem to run it on my computer.
Innovative use of the theme!
This was a great entry for innovative use of the theme.
Hmm, it was wonky on my machine. The screen dimensions were off and the mouse seemed to be clicking about 96 pixels above where the mouse actually was.
Aha! Got it to work, but it appears Joe can FLY!!! and never quite catches his bride to be... Fun graphics though.
Belongs in the Jam. Usage of pre-made media.
Thanks. I wasn't getting any inspiration whatsoever and just published one of the many doodles I made trying to think up a good idea. Yes the point is to trap one single ball inside the arc. The red angle is the prevalent one, the arc kinda tangents in that direction. No, it's not a complete game at all. I had made a half-complete jezz-ball clone after this, but it was more buggy so I just posted this one instead.
Once I got to the roaming monster it became impossible and before that it was too easy. Otherwise it was an outstanding entry graphically and it seemed packed with game-play.
Belongs in the Jam. Usage of pre-made media.
Really a solid game in many ways. All the pieces are put together nicely. More animation would improve this game. More dramatic characterizations and movements in the their bodies.
I've made games my whole life and I remember making games in the bath tub too. The idea is great.
This game could have been improved with just a few small things: 1. Lower the resolution or increase the size of the images. 2. Add sound and MUSIC 3. Increase the sensitivity of the controls.
Thank you for this.
Good job. Very simple and fun entry. The game play progression was nice from easy-to-weak units. Reminds me of the mechanics from some old text-based games.
Thank you for this.
I agree with cr0ybot! Put the text on the right. Also, use a better font.
Good job.
I almost rage-quit before completing level 2, because level 2 was well-done. This game could be greatly improved by a few simple things 1. Slower FPS 2. Less sensitive controls, 3. Music!
p.s. I did find it a little concerning that the droplet of water was interested in coins... character animation and the bucket graphic were great touches.
Could not run it.
I wanted to give this game a good chance. It seems incomplete in really bad way. It would have been epic should you have finished this on time and packaged it well, but I just can't figure out how to -play- the game. This game probably suffered from being too big. Keep your ideas simpler and you'll have more success next time.
Thank you for this.
I really liked this and the music was great! The judges were great too.
I played through the adventure until a bug prevented me from going any further. This game felt very incomplete. Between the single background image, no music or sound effects, no challenge, it seems like it lacked any substance. The character animations were wonderful, but the game lacked a lot.
Thank you for this.
Cool music track. The only problem with this game was that I could get the best times by holding up continiously. I like the transition effects but the fonts and some of the graphics didn't fit. Good job on the truck physics.
Thank you for this.
f1rst!!1!11
I thought there were good elements here, great graphics great music good menu and a lack in game-play and anything that made it something I'd want to continue playing for longer than 30 seconds. I did like the use of hexagons, cool theme in that respect.
Thank you for this.
Really nice use of transition effects, great sprites for the main battle portion there, though a bit mixed in style. A few things would have made this much better. Don't mix resolutions unless you are really really meaning to and you need to choose better fonts that compliment the style of the game better. The music is a tad annoying and needs some tweaking, but that fact that it is there at all is a big bonus.
Good job. Thank you for this.
This game was fun. The second level was quite difficult and well done. This game could have greatly been improved by a few simple things: 1. mouse control, 2. Music & Sound FX.
Thank you for this.
A nice complete entry, although I found the mechanics a bit tedious and the graphics a bit on the horrible side. It would be nice if maybe there was an "auto eat" that eats everything on your particular island if all the baddies are dead as well as an animation to show the eating action itself, maybe even have the little guy chew it up and swallow it.
Got a menu and a crash. Sorry.
If this one had music it would have been much better. Also, although the game-play is unique, it's not balanced well enough. It's too easy to break down into a neutrino and then just pass through the lower walls to freedom. I didn't find there to be any particular -challenge- to the game. Also when I beat the level, since it was monochrome, I thought I had died! Otherwise great entry, wonderful graphics indeed.
Thank you for this.
I played this game to completion. I like that it's a game that has never been made before. I thought it could be improved by having another adversary. Also, the final graphic is so nice, it would have been nice to incorporate it a little more and extend the game play a little while longer.
Thank you for this.
Hilarious.
Would have been nice with music and sound. The graphics were good except the grass background, but the flowers were pretty and so was the hive and sky line. Good colours, good fonts, etc.
I played this game 5 times to understand the strategy. It was fun and relaxing invasion of earth. Would be great deployed on a tablet.
Could have been improved by 1. music, and 2. if the talking bit didn't interrupt the gameplay. 3. if the menu didn't use the keyboard, really threw me off. If presentation were a category I would have given this a 2, fun and innovation deserve 4's.
Thanks for this.
A fun entry, but way did not deserve 1st place
Anyone who can tell me 5 stars on graphics compared to the two other top entries is dreaming. Anyone who can tell me 5 stars on innovation compared to 3 other games that were better based on this same concept is dreaming. Anyone who tells me generated, placeholder SFXR sound effects and randomly generated music are 5 star is dreaming. Clearly Tyler Glail is a celebrity and was given a bias based on his name. Positivism is the only thing that justifies a middle-of-the-road entry like this getting 1st place vs so many -excellent entries- that, when broken apart with a little bit of critical thinking are superior to this. Thanks for the entry, but this is not the winner. Your winner is in a different castle.
The graphical style was good, I liked the background effects. This entry could have been greatly improved with just a bit of music.
Solid solid entry. Wish there was music. Should have left it in there and said to hell with the IP issues. Music would have made this a 5 star entry.
I had a hard time making a thriving city unfortunately. My mines would randomly disappear and roads didn't seem to be doing anything special as far as I could tell.
This entry could have been improved with some more animation, better choice in fonts, and a better presentation or tutorial.
Thank you for this.
Gameplay, awesome, fun, new, exciting...
But you win the award for worlds most annoying music.
It was actually WORSE That you put that music in there than it would have been if you had just not. Which is a really bad insult because I've been telling everyone their games need music... That being said, I wished there was an ending, but the idea was innovative and fun.
Thank you for this.
p.s. thanks for being the 1st commenter on my project Tiny Civilization.
This game had a great flashy flow to it, great music and well-blended sound effects, but the gameplay was short and lack-luster. Flashy, well executed, but lacked the substance - particularily in theme, fun and innovation - to bring it past 4 stars.
Good job.
Thank you for this.
I loved the abstract visual style with the glowing sprites and the wonky tile map. This game could have been improved with more animation and a more complete conclusion to the game. I was also finding myself wanting a 'run' button for quick bursts. Otherwise the goodies were spread out nicely and logically, it was well balanced and fun.
Thank you for this.
It ran too slow to bear even on the lowest settings. Which is strange because I've been able to play most other unity entries on medium settings.
This entry was funny. I played through once and it was funny and well-drawn. Even though the graphics didn't change much it was still charming and amusing. The fact that it had music that wasn't annoying and slipped in the background really helped to.
Thank you for this.
I play this game to the end and it was too short. The ant-walking sound effect was good.
Thank you for this.
Graphically appealing but not quite a complete-feeling game. The fact that there was music was a big plus, but the music loop seemed repetitive and there didn't seem to be sound effects. This game could have been improved by: 1. added gameplay elements, deeper gameplay, 2. improving the UI, 3. more sound effects.
Thank you for this.
It goes incredibly slow. Took 3 minutes to get to "Hello tiny pirate!"
Music was the best! Amazing music. Fun game too. A little short. Would have been fun with some more baddies. A few more animations would have improved this entry a lot too.
It could have been improved by... everything being better. I think a lot more effort could have gone into this.
Thanks for trying.
Hahaha, that is the funniest entry I've seen .. but unfortunately it is disqualified. Gotta make all the content yourself, remember?! Good job anyway.
Thank you for this.
It was not very much fun to play. It needed a lot more. Music, sound effects, flow, speed, better graphics. Nice try though.
Thanks for this.
If only it had some nice fast-paced music! This would be the best entry ever. Very well polished, high level of detail in the graphics. Two-thousand thumbs up on that one.
If only it had some nice fast-paced music! This would be the best arcade entry, even better than Lilac! Very well polished, high level of detail in the graphics. Two-thousand thumbs up on that one.
I didn't realize there was music! I didn't realize I had to push. Really well done! Wish I had this in an arcade-box!!
I find a lot of these unit games feel more like 'levels' than games. I'm not sure what goes into them, but you put a decent amount of content into this game and it's clear you know what you're doing when it comes to visual style. This entry could have become a 5 star entry if it just had some music.
Good complete work with music. This entry could have been improved by adding more animation.
P.s. It didn't work very well with my Nintendo power-glove or my Webkins(tm) but other-wise good stuff ;)
Didn't work on Windows XP.
I rated this one very favorably and played it to the end.
This entry was beautiful, quick, fun, and had a twist that really harnessed the theme nicely. While many Unity games come off as hokey level-editor levels, this is a game with a unique style all its' own. It should be noted the music added to the mood a lot here, it fit well. Very important.
Very very ugly colours, very much an eye-sore. Needed music, needed sound, needed a lot. Good try though.
Thanks for this.
That's a tricky game. I see you spent a great amount of time on levels. I'm not sure this fits the theme at all but it was fun.
Thank you for this.
This was actually a lot of FUN, well balanced fun-wise but could have been improved with just a few minor tweaks. Zoom in a lot and scroll the screen. That would give it a a real classic game boy-esque feel Also, use better fonts and add music that fits at the very least use an auto-tracker if you run out of time.
Good job.
Thanks for this.
This is both an excellent concept and a great execution of that concept. I think you did a very fine job. One thing that would have set this game over-the-top would have been a music track!
If you wanted a blown mind you got one! Just awesome demo-scene-complete feel to it. It could have been GREATLY improved with just a bit of music and sound effects!
Good Job.
Thank you for this.
Fantastic game.
The only thing that would have made this better would have been some fast-paced music and some mouse-able buttons for the shop/teleporters instead.
Thank you for this.
Pretty good, rather fun and frustrating. I would have preferred to use the keyboard to throw bombs.
The character graphic is funny. Keep trying.
Solid
Needs better instructions.
Interesting idea in theory, in practice it's a bit bland and easy. I do like the twist.
Was a bit choppy, and I was hoping something would happen after I destroyed all the enemies. Adding a timer would have improved this entry greatly.
Wouldn't detect the latest version of Flash.
It looks great, but the gameplay is a bit clunky. I find myself just sitting at the bottom of the ocean, unable to swim because the bubble-o-meter there runs out too quickly. I couldn't seem to collect the floppy disks either (bug?). Trina is the cutest and least scary villian I've ever met.
How do I get her to speed up?
Web link leads to .EXE download.
I can't see what strategy there is, especially if there are only two players. Regardless, the entry and rules were clear and tight.
The character animation was great. The music was enjoyable.
It looks and sounds great but the controls were entirely unresponsive. I'll hold off on rating until I find a windows computer.
It seems I didn't have to move anywhere to win. Just clicked on the castle a bunch of times and viola.
It was an interesting experience.
Wouldn't load.
Great entry. It's a little too hard.
Hmm, I have webGl but it says it can't find it...
8,923pts. This was a very fun game. One of the more enjoyable entries I've played as far as game-play goes. Stomping flowers is a good villainous twist.
Nyan cat.
What is the point of being uncloaked?
Perhaps the most unique entries so far. Good work.
The right buttons seemed to be stuck I could not control the character.
It was cute. Good colours. Could have been improved if you zoomed in and scrolled the screen. Also if the animations were a little more exaggerated.
Gameplay-wise this one is better than most of the games utilizing this mechanic. Sound and better graphics would have improved this entry.
Aha, now I get it. Should have made some built-in levels to go along with the user-made levels.
The first LD25 game I actually wanted to keep playing and figure out. Not enough time to do the third puzzle. Need an extra minute.
There is a bug with the mouse, causing the actual location of the placeable game objects half way across the screen from the OS cursor.
Was fun.
Web version cannot seem to detect my Adobe Flash player installed. Latest version.
Outstanding
Great graphics and good aesthetic quality. Albeit flashy I didn't find the gameplay very fun.
Pretty solid. Not sure what the point on the projections sheet is.
Beautiful entry. Wonderful graphics. Strongest entry I've played. Wonderful twist on the now all-to-common game-play mechanism.
Would have been greatly improved with sound. Also, mixing graphics style/resolutions makes it seem like I'm playing two different games.
Could have been improved with more sound effects, music, and more exaggerated hammer animation. Perhaps he could have lifted it over his head.
The graphics were about as ugly as ugly gets but it was fun. I didn't like the mix of clicking and keyboard.
Good entry. I had to read the comments to figure out that I was playing it wrong. I realize you wanted to make 'emergent gameplay', but the sheer guessing makes it a little less accessible when we're playing and rating 20+ games per day. I would like to understand this entry better because it seemed pretty solid. I just couldn't get the hang of it.
charming
Great title screen. Not sure what I'm supposed to do in the second level, though.
Hero seems to be missing.
Shining Force was one of the greatest games of all time. The title lead me to believe it might be like that.
Thanks for playing. Yeah I wanted to add apartment names and addresses. I also wanted to add more obstacles such as cars, pedestrians and hazards. There is an informant graphic still embedded in the executable that was there to do just that, since I was running out of time I skipped the informant mechanic altogether. Again, thanks for playing.
Thanks. I'm glad someone noticed the bleeding / scanline effects. All I see now is an incomplete title high in potential and short on actual game play.
I find myself having to chase down the cops in order to beat them up x_X
@Razion. Thanks. I was playing with my sound down all the way, not realizing how loud it was. The updated version is much better. It's actually kinda fun even.
@Starspell - Yes I didn't realize that it was loud because I had my speakers down almost all the way. No volume nob on these hand-me-downs.
@lotusgame - I SO-SO-SO wanted to add Random Street Names and Addresses and Random Building Names like I did with people in Tiny Civilization, but I ran out of time :(. They were going to have funny and unique names as you passed by. It was the NEXT feature on my todo list when time ran out.
@AdventureIslands - Well authentic retro is what I do... Call it a niche. Many people try but they make mistakes like mixing resolutions, using too many colours, using non-standard palettes, using SFXR instead of programming real chip emulators, etc. All of my years of experience tell me that God is in the details, so I'm not sure how I can satisfy on the 'too retro' front.
Kind of a bit like saying "It's too well done, this is hogwash"
I could not for the life of me figure out how to play it. It looks okay, good colours anyway. The gameplay is, as far as I can tell, completely non-existent. Could you post better instructions?
haha. You get a humor rating, that is all.
It's not too bad. I like the 1-bit enemies. Not always sure what they are but they are bad and you should shoot them!
The music would have been sweet with some drums in it, like it sounds like grunge music to me. You have a good eye for colour and line styles. Keep at it.
Very musical. It would have been nice with some added animations when you hit the note blocks. Some better colour would have been good too. Maybe some percussion blocks (am I asking for too much), and a bit of polish with timing and controls. otherwise I thought it was fun and innovative.
267
Great music and great colours.
I'm not quite sure what to do. What are the keys?
I like the part where you shoot the apple (which looks like a tomato ;) Music and a better choice of colours would have made this entry better.
The controls are clunky and unresponsive. Nice try.
I'm digging the music and audio aesthetic. I can't figure out how to get the key, though.
Kinda the opposite of sonic the hedge hog :p
ClassNotFoundException
Great graphic style. It would have been made better with sound and music and a little more animation.
Ran into a bug that wouldn't let me let go of a piece with the mouse. Interesting concept anyway.
Not sure what to do after "Free yourself", flew really high and found nothing. Great work though. Needed some sound and some way to lose (a challenge)
It's out-there anyway.
Web link is broken :(
Love the ascii art. Was going to post my score but then it disappeared!
Very minimalistic. Would have been great with a bit of sound.
Not sure what the objective here is.
Was expecting an actual lemming though. Font was silly. The voice is funny.
The concept was interesting, a robot scripting game, but it was clunky and unpolished, not particularly fun in any way. The scripting language was a bit confusing, I couldn't get it to compile with the tutorial provided.
Needs music!
I like how you made the controls minimalistic, very clever. Suprisingly deep game-play.
I hate you :(
P.S. complete sarcasm, you are a magnificently talented son of a jerk, your graphics skills are speedy and detailed. I love your work, I aspire to be as great as you.
I can't figure out what to do on the third screen, but it looks, plays, and feels great.
Psychedelic stuff man.
The range of the sword doesn't go far past the body, so I figured I had to make the swords 'attack' region slightly ahead of the character.
I had the attack 'automatic' but it really made it feel hokey being forced into the entire animation on the tiniest little tap.
If you think it's too easy try 'death-sandwich'
If you think it's too hard try 'easy' :)
Thanks for all the encouraging comments.
Everyone's gone soft. Games in my day were HARD.
It totally reminded me of Pacland too. I was going for the cheap SNES game feel.
I guess I got the high score.
Awesome. Was this made with a platform-game maker engine? I notice there's no actual code in your source files...
Very good style and rhythm. It needed something a bit more though.
Very solid graphics, polish, and idea-wise. It's a bit buggy. though. I found myself falling off the map quite a bit.
I see a few other top themes such as "Death is good" were in your heart.
Needs sound and music. Could have done with some big tweaks to the physics. It was like a broken version of joust.
Needed something just a bit more. Clever idea though.
I managed to escape the missile's wrath for both versions of me by just going in continuous circles. Great abstract graphics and great music.
It seemed to bug out at the isometric stage. I couldn't move about or get anywhere. It looks a lot more elaborate than I was able to get into.
I zoomed in an it looked pretty good. It was a bit too hard. Required absolutely perfection to complete the level. I gave up.
Just couldn't make it past the first screen no matter how fast I went. Out-ran the train and it said 'too slow'. Looks good if I can get past that bit.
It was offensive and not funny in the least bit.
Good start. I like the headlights.
I realize they are delayed, but the controls seem incorrect too. The first time the slider on the left moved the arm, the second time it made me move forward but it wouldn't let me stop. Cool idea though.
I lost when I tried to shoot a zombie. The collision is messed up too.
Awesome entry. Really fun!
This is quite simply amazing. Please please bring this to OUYA.
The grainy CRT effect is fun. The farther button is virtually impossible to get. I did a couple -perfect- runs and was a little shy each time.
The intro animation was great.
Great colors. Good start.
Good colors.
Wow, great stuff!
Good implementation. Nice soft intro.
If I had seen this game first I would have rated it high for innovation but I guess this idea isn't very innovative. Tis being the 6th or 7th game featuring this mechanic. I now understand where the '10 seconds meme' comes from. I just wish someone would get it out in the open for me before the compo's since I'm not terribly versed in the internet casual-game culture.
Not sure what I'm doing here...
Great job. Nice and tight and simple.
Keyboard controls don't work.
It had a good flow to it.
The collision and controls seemed really wonky.
Great graphics again. The gameplay, flow and audio aren't as good as your last few entries. Way to set the bar too high for yourself :p Still getting a great rating.
Pretty crappy
Reminds me of a game called "Batman Against The Vampires"
https://www.allegro.cc/depot/BatmanAgainsttheVampires/
Thanks for rating my game :)
Fun and complete.
@madk, Try using the Blaster instead.
@HeyChinaski - Get back to the vortex.
@Infernal - Press Enter when near the reactor to plant the bomb.
@7thSAMA - Feature, not a problem. I changed it to this logic on purpose. The asteroids logic wasn't 'fast'. It was slow and plodding, I wanted it to feel more like a car chase. Trust me, I made the right choice here.
@rezoner - Cool. I've been thinking of going pro :) What kind of features would you like to see in a 'full version' ?
@mrspeaker - Thanks. Could you give me an example?
Did you paint the Carl Sagan graphic, or was it ripped off the net?
I do like difficult games but the difficulty curve on this was way too high. Maybe a wider playing field would have made this more enjoyable.
Those glitchy graphics are a real eye-sore, but it brings me back to a time when I'd type cd\hrytz then hrytz.com and get a glitchy weird game with no explanation, wondering if it's supposed to look/sound that way or if that's just some kind of compatibility layer.
If nostalgia was a category you'd get 5. Unfortunately your game kinda gave me a headache.
That's minimalism alright.
A little confusing.
Even though it's only good for about 30 seconds of game-play it rates well..
Nice polish. Love the idea and the mechanics felt good. I wish there was a way to win though.
I'm really not sure what to do here.
I really wanted to play this game until something happened but after 6 tries and not finding anything I'm not sure what to try.
Not sure what the strategy is. I find shooting any vehicle's drive causes massive chaos all over the town. I wish it went full screen too. The graphics were fun.
The art and colours are where this one shines. Needs audio as well as animations!
The difficulty curve is a bit too high. There isn't really much indication what the next move is, so I found it came down to rote memorization. The colours were nice.
With a bit of music and some better colours this could be a really great game. It was enjoyable enough to make me want to try and 'beat it'. Not sure how it fits the theme though.
I don't particularily enjoy text games, so I'll try to go easy on this one. The text is really small and could have been larger. It made for quickly tired eyes.
Interesting. There are two entries called "monochrome". I couldn't figure out what to do aside from clicking on all the objects. It's more an interactive piece of artwork than it is a game, no?
Ahh, some music and sound would have been a great addition.
In communist Russia, there is no freedom!
The game actually has 100% freedom. You can walk where-ever you want!
ENDESGA: Perhaps your computer is running slow. There are over 100 frames on animation. Reboot and try again and re-rate it please.
CrossBread: Very much thanks for taking the time. You deserve a gold star for sticking with games for longer than 2 minutes. Not many here do that. Kudos and thank you again.
SamH: Darn, you know I thought about it and just didn't get the time. It's not really very good with anything other than a mouse mouse. A track-pad would be tough to play with.
SamH: Try AutoHotkey
turnA: Yeah, it's probably not wise to judge games based on using a track-pad. Very few games are designed for the track-pad both LD and otherwise.
@Everyone using a touch-pad... Really? C'mon, you wouldn't say this about an First Person Shooter. Most modern PC games are NOT designed for a touch pad. So If you rate my game based on the fact that you don't have the hardware required then you are sin-incarnate. THANK YOU :)
Great graphics, very well polished. I'm not sure what the real challenge in the world map mode is though.
Visually great, a game? Not so much.
The meat and potatoes here were outstanding. I was sad when it was over.
Master craftsmanship. 5x5 stars.
Doesn't run.
Too many AS3 errors . Doesn't work with AS3 debugging on. I'm not sure how to remove the debugging error messages
Soothing...
Kinda shitty.
"Click to start" doesn't work.
It doesn't run very nicely and the action and graphics need a lot of work.
SMB on acid for sure.
It was really smooth and had great colours. There didn't seem to be a win or loss condition, though.
It's frustrating, not really in a good way... After I fell the second time it didn't seem intrinsically worth it to go all the way around and try again. Better to restart really.
Great artwork and music.
Couldn't find title0.png
This is a lot more fun than being bullied or depressed :p
Not your strongest entry but it's still pretty good.
Needed a labyrinth and more content.
Great graphics. Am I on drugs? Oh.. I am..
Great action and great puzzles. It needed a whole boat load of polish but a great solid base pre-polish.
It's just too large for my screen.
The action was great. Could have done with some music and a victory condition, maybe more baddies.
I am so dizy!
Not sure how to murder without being noticed. The visuals with the text are great. The main sprites.. not so much.
Doesn't do anything when I click 'connect'
Doesn't do anything when I click 'connect'. Local game didn't really explain the whole thing. I'm tempted to think this game is more fun multi-player. I'm curious though, the game had absolutely nothing to do with the theme. What's up with that?
Crashed when I click 'next'
@SlamBlasta - Welcome to being disabled :P
@zatyka How deliciously metaphorical ;)
Excellent, well polished. Great entry.
Nice colours. I can tell you are a real palette fetishist! I like the visual / audio feedback on things. I'm a big fan of white flashing objects. The gameplay is maybe a bit uninspired.
I love the concept and the birds look really nice. Mechanically it's a bit fidgety.
Superb!
The music is awesome! I couldn't get it to run very smoothly. It was choppy even on a fresh browser.
Windows 7 - I just get music. No gameplay. Crazy hardcore song though.
WASD does not appear to do anything in the web version.
I can't figure out what to do but oh my hell what is your secret? I kinda want to cry and quit game dev forever when I see your entries. :---(
The music was good. The game is not very telling. Reminds me of the old days when if you bought something like this you darn well figured it out!
I didn't quite figure it out. ++Great Effort though.
It should be called "Shake Weight Simulator"
The mouse controls act quite strange. The music is epic.
Cute, I like the graphics. It needed some visual / audio feedback when you hit enemies.
The controls don't work. MY EYES HURT SO BAD.
Very novel concept.
Really enjoyed the visual feedback and the polish. Easy to pick up and play.
Ooooh that's a good take with Mars Attacks.
It crashes once the music starts. Great rock and roll though.
Also... The pay wall is ultra-silly. It was hard to recognize the link past the pay-wall.
My virus checker didn't like this file. It didn't tell me what virus was detected, only that it is 'malicious'.
Other than having to click to so much I thought it was fun.
That's great. Love the crowd. It goes a little too fast at first. Maybe should ease into it.
Definitely innovative! I can't say I've ever played a game about being a sword rolling around in a field chopping grass before.. It was fun but tricky to maneuver. Maybe a little too tricky.
I honestly didn't expect anyone to play it long enough to finish it so thanks a lot for that! Yes, it's quite lame. I didn't have enough time to add an intro level or an ending, which were things I really wanted to get to this time.
@GAFBlizzard correction: 48 hours! God 24 hours would just be insane.
@Larzan, I get that feel.
It's really hard. Is there any way to avoid the hunters in the first corridor?
Innovation 5 stars.
Great music
Wow! You.. kinda made the same game again.. :p
Well.. that sure was weird. 5 stars for mood.
Great stuff 5/5 overall. Lots of polish. Thought it got easier with more baddies :p
It was a lot of fun. Some sound and music would have made this great.
Wow, really great work. I wasn't sure how it fit in the with theme, I assume it was getting to that in the ending..
The NSA is a monster!
How watery those things are. E for effort :p Maybe next time!
Fun. There isn't enough lead time to analyse the puzzles before they start going which is a bit of a flaw.
I really liked the background art and ambient sounds.
I can't get past the tutorial. There is a jump on the first building the little dude runs into that is too tall.
The quality and content level of the graphics is exceptional with quality sensory feedback.
This one is really really buggy and it made it virtually impossible to play.
Also, I find it really annoying that you are consistently the least cool person in Ludum Dare. It's really quite a jerk move to be "the best" every time and not even take a few minutes to look at the hard work everyone else put in and give your opinions and ratings. It's a bit arrogant and self-centered don't you think?
All these people have time for your game and you're too important to even contribute? What's that all about?
I really couldn't figure out the second puzzle. How do I get the engineer to the second control panel?
w00t L13. Fun
Nice contribution. It really could have really used some sound!
I really liked the background art and the ambient sound.
Sorry, accidentally cross-posted. Loved the artwork. It was a bit buggy dieing and re-playing.
Pretty cool. My ears died when I died. The Uke music was a little out of place, but soothing..
Great work. I really enjoyed it. I couldn't figure out who the friend was, though. I like how the music changed in the water.
It got hard pretty fast there!
Nicely polished entry. Great music 5/5.
You monster...
Very nice, a little bit of music would have set the mood.
Great visuals. Really great intro.
Amazing solo work. Keep it up!
Great audio, very innovative. Difficult, I couldn't quite pass the second level, though I tried for a while.
I beat it! Thanks for participating. Nice complete.
It's ridiculously difficult. Maybe having just 3 heads to start with would be easier. Also the lack of visual feedback makes it difficult to understand the rules.
Great graphics.
You monster... It looks nice, nice colour, very complete and polished. Is there any win scenario?
Wow! That is excellent work. The music was great, art was great. Great use of limitations.
Though not on theme at all and a bit buggy.
Yummy. That was a lot of fun, very responsive. Lots of feedback. Should put it up for Audio, the Audio is good. Would be better with music. Mood / Humor not so much.
That's what you get for using Linux I guess :p. Maybe try playing it on a fresh reboot. Definitely not an issue with the game.
