Attack of the time travelling pygmy from outer paleolithic (aka Time Pygmy) by deepnight 2010-12-20T03:23:00
Amazing!

Amazing!
Thanks! It can actually be called a "short game" because it requires you to do something. :D
Thanks! Actually you can't choose. To be honest, I planned to allow choices, but due to the lack of time, I ended up with the "bad" choice only :)
Thanks guys. I worked shortly on the game, with some rush and laziness.
Goldendice: actually there are bugs, it's impossible to do something polished in 8 hours (the time I worked on this game).
By the way I'm not learning, I've worked on more than 22 games to date :) It just hapenned to be my first LD, but not my 1st game at all.
Thanks everyone! Mostly of the issues are because I worked only 8 hours instead of the available 48 hours :(
Here is my post mortem: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/01/03/loot-alone-post-mortem/
@kato9 the key is in one of the boxes :)
Yep, no ears :) Made to fit the rounded-squared style of the other characters' heads.
I loved it. It pretty much describes how we feel about life sometimes (or most of the times?)
404. :(
Loved the concept and the graphics (the simpler the better :).
I love these typical platformers: grab the coin, go to the exit, jump :D
My only concern is that the movement is too sensitive.
When the enemies first approached me I almost fell off the chair, got scaried lol :) A little confusing on the beginning, but then starts to develop.
Theme and graphics: 5/5!
Amazing! This is the kind of game that came in mind when I first thought about "Tiny World"! Good work.
This kind of comment is almost irrelevant for your game already since everyone is saying this, but amazing graphics and polished game!
Also amazing what Stencyl can do. I think I may consider it for my next jam after what I played here (going with Unity/FlashPunk/etc still requires to focus too much on the programming and not on the game content).
Limited, yet deep. My favorite compo game so far.
It has everything to turn into a great mobile game!
Thumbs up to the art style.
Amazing graphics and I liked the power switching idea, except that controls are a bit slow.
That's what I call a TINY world! Also loved the retro/billboard look of it.
Love the ultra pixelated look :)
What a concept! You created a sports game in a theme where everyone was dealing with micro management games :)
Note: Since this is a Compo entry, you have to provide the source code. http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/rules/
Hahahah YOU SHALL NOT PASS
Only the Compo is solo; He submitted to the Jam.
I'm with LukeRissacher: a game about the Matrix, good work!
So simple, yet so amazing!
Really liked the teleport addition to Shmup.
Amazing art and controls, but I found it to be too hard ;(
I was expecting another weird experience coming from SoS, and here it is! Another game in the best SoS style. Amazing!
Gorgeous!
Tiny pleasant game, good work.
@smvilar: see tip: 2) Rocks hurt wood.
@madflame991 oh I tried to make a smooth camera, but it is impossible to polish it completely in 10 hours (I worked only around 9-10h in the game).
@cmo7 thanks!
Thanks everyone! As for weird, even my wife "WTF is this?". This is my second LD and the second time I make a senseless game :P
FredericRP: see tip 7.
thristhart: thanks for describing your rating and the hnest review!
Ratking and Suese: :D
R3ason: wow, thanks for the great feedback! It makes me feel a little better about the game (I was hating that I submitted it).
@Gremlin, @Daniel: Thanks.
@otaviogood and @Lidfrid: please see the game description above.
WOW thanks everyone for the feedback! As I said earlier (or didn't I?): I work daily with games, so I take Game Jams as an opportunity to do the opposite of my work. That means, I can't make anything serious, I have to make something weird/different/sarcastic/etc as opposite to "make a game with this or that rules to make players happy or to agree with a mechanic".
@strega @ilo @MadGnomeGamer I made all sounds using only my voice (except Jump/Powerup which is CFXR).
@AdventureIslands please see " If it runs, you can also run away " -> so run away from the pig and you will see the result :)
Although I couldn't barely move, due to be struck in the blocks/stairs, even in the very beginning I had a good feeling of the old NES times, I don't know why? Maybe Lode Runner? If you happen to work on it more, I'd love to play.
Great graphics and innovation, it has a great cool "retro" atmosphere. But hard to throw bombs on the right place.
That was a very nice and fun idea! My only complaint is that most of the times it is impossible to walk (I know it was the idea of the game that you are big and have to take care); there is too much sensitivity.
Anyway 4/5!
Excellent and humorous audio; balanced controls and some good fun there, with a long level to explore.
PS: Add more in game screenshots to this page, so people will notice the game better. Putting only a menu screen won't attract many players.
Forgot to add: my only concern are the ghosts. They are too fast.
A great use of the theme! It reminds us that we all should protect our world; it may be seem huge, but it is tiny thinking that all resources are connected.
Weird experience, as well made me dizzy. But, I actually liked it for the innovation.
Just a note: since it is a compo entry you need to provide a link with the source code.
Or I suck too much or the controls are really really hard? I didn't manage to do anything other than try to grab stuff with the finger without picking anything. The concept is great, but unfortunately I couldn't control even trying 10+ rounds :(
I see a successful iPhone game coming out from this game? You should port it :)
Whoa! A little Legenda of Zelda / Bindings of Isaac here! Also I love forests/fairy/mushroom graphics. My only concern is that sometimes there are too enemies at once and they shoot in a crazy high rate.
Since it is in Unity, please provide a Web version, you will surely get dozens additional plays (including mine, Mac user).
Liked the ambience of it! Is the sound missing or was it my computer?
Amazing use of the theme! One of the games I most played on this LD :)
That was amazing!
