I thought I was 31337, but I couldn't pass the second level. Overall, a great idea.

The art style is cool. Love that you have a map. But the game is just too buggy. I would play this game more if it wasn't so buggy.
I had fun playing it when I thought the wind was random. Then I read the comment about cloud and wind direction. Still fun. :) This is probably the most polished game of the 48 hour ones I've seen so far. Nice.
That was original. The music was good.
Cool how the shots curve around with gravity. I don't think I've ever seen that. I really liked the music. I think enemy shots came at you a little too fast to react, turning the game into more luck than skill. At least for me. Maybe you're super good at it though.
Nice fish game. In some ways like that iphone game Osmosis or whatever it's called. Just eat whatever is smaller and avoid whatever is bigger. The collisions on the mouth are a bit difficult to eat with. I figured I'd play all the fish related games since I made one. :)
I think it needs something motivating the player to do this stuff. Maybe a short intro story or a character who you can relate to or something. Otherwise it feels like doing lots of random tasks for no reason.
Just when I figured it out the game ended. Big points for originality though. Thanks for not making a platformer. :P
Is there a hint book for this game??? I can't figure out what to do after using the sticks. Fun game so far though.
I thought the game was hanging, but that's just because a purple creeper got to a flower. I wasn't sure what to do besides clicking on clouds to kill creepers. I saw you can turn lots of stuff but I'm not sure what that does. Any chance you can explain? Looks cool though.
Helium 3! Scientifically accurate!!! Nice.
I think the gameplay could have been better if there were tradeoffs to make. The style, music, and polish are amazing, but it doesn't feel like I'm doing much in the game.
The bugs got in the way of what seems like a fun concept. You should have switched to 72 hour compo to get a little more polish and bug fixes in.
The asplowshuns look pretty sweet but they do get in the way of gameplay.
Great game. One of my favorites. The controls got frustrating though. Somehow I never got an intuitive grasp of the controls. The up/down thing makes you think it's gonna go up/down unless you pause to think. I'm wondering if some vector field visualization would help intuitively understanding it all better.
Wasn't completely clear what I was doing. Game seemed to go by very slowly without a lot of choices of what to do. Looks cool though.
Kinda like marble madness. Controls were a little counterintuitive. Since it's a ball, you expect it to roll all directions, but the controls are more car-like with the steering/forward/back. Camera also had me tilting my head trying to correct it. :)
Played to the end. Game was linear though and I never had to make any decisions on anything. I just moved to the left and did my sword thing. Some trade-offs on what to do would be helpful. Also, thanks for the tip about building my XNA game in "reach" mode. I did that, so it should work on your laptop now. :)
I think the 3d maze would have worked better if the maze was a bit more complex. As it is, I usually don't have to remember any sides except the one I'm on. With a simple maze, you'd need some pac-man ghosts or something to keep it challenging.
I had low expectations based on the screenshots, but I think this is the best in the mood and music categories that I've seen so far. Great style.
Great idea with the circuit mini game. Unfortunately, I didn't quite get whatever logic was behind it. Maybe a hint in the comments would help?
It's a nice start. The game needs something working against you though. Or at least some economic trade-offs or goals or something.
That was a really cool idea. Just needed some longer-term goals or difficulty ramp up or something. I know it's hard in 48 hour though. :)
It's a fun original concept. Maybe could have used some smoother animation on the planet. The jerkiness makes it hard to understand things at high speed. Good job.
cdwaddell - The blue circles represent the population centers. If an asteroid hits them, the screen shakes and you lose population.
The style was _really_ cool. I had some trouble with the controls though. It felt like the game was played at 2x speed. Also, for a jumping platformer, it helps to be able to steer your jumps a little in the air. I could only get to the middle of the 3 vines.
It's like progress quest combined with cow clicker!
It was hard to play because the sliding seemed laggy. I guess that was the cooldown? It wasn't obvious without thinking about what was happening. It was a fun concept you explored here though.
Spoiler alert: you can stand behind the crate to the right and shoot left and score big without getting hurt. I should write a guide book for this game. :P
I agree with most of the others. I had a lot of trouble understanding how my actions were having an effect. It seems like there's probably a lot of depth to the game, but I could have used some kind of map view or something to explain what was happening.
I managed to win on the first try, but it was close. Great name for the game. :)
i need a give-up key so i can see what i'm doing wrong. :)
Next time I should read the instructions first. I was trying to figure out what the timer was and died trying to laser enemies. :P
nice hat. web version worked for me.
This is one of the most fun games I have played so far.
the link to the game is broken for me.
You should put instructions in the web description. I didn't think to click on help before playing the game.
I think it might be too hard. The mood was really cool and the sound worked well with it, but I just didn't know what to do after getting to another fire.
This is my new favorite so far. I got 10670. I wish there were a few more teleports for when you're totally stuck.
