A Hero In! by SunnyCode 2012-01-08T16:51:00

I liked the way of storytelling and the whole idea of the game. The stat system is working out. With a little bugfixing and maybe a bit more variety, we got a cool game here.
But killing sheeps is pure evil, even if they're evil ;)

Solved with Head by Steven Colling 2011-12-22T19:21:00

The game is pretty impressive for 5 hours of work, the graphics are nice but the "combat system" is a little buggy and overall for me it isn't fun to play.

Thanks.

I already noticed the problem, will try to fix it when I have time to. I think i forgot to include some libraries, but never did this before so I just will run it on a PC without SFML installed. In the meantime you could install the sfml libraries via synaptic, that would allow you to run it.

Sorry, only option for now is installing sfml.

Could you tell me when it crashed? Did the game start or did it crash while opening the window? Which Windows Version do you have? I only tested it on 7.

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2011-12-23T09:48:00

Thanks for the feedback.

Crashes: The windows version is nearly not tested, so sorry for that. I will have a look at the crash at it.

Text: I couldn't think of a better way to tell the player what exactly is going on, as you might see graphics are not a strength of mine. I'll try find someone to help me.

Kind of a highscore is implemented, it's a textfile in the game folder.

The controls change some seconds after the tower appears on top of the screen. I will change this to "when passing". Thanks for the point. I first wanted to impliment a flash or something like this when controls change, but I did not have the time to do so. A sound is also a nice idea.

I plan on improving the game further, so all feedback is very appreciated!

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2011-12-26T18:34:00

Thanks. I will definitely try to improve this.

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2011-12-28T11:48:00

I'll release a 64 Bit Version as soon as I can. Sorry for that.

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2012-01-08T16:33:00

Sorry, I'll check that.

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2012-01-08T16:35:00

Fixed.

Neural Entanglements by Aardvark 2012-01-08T23:00:00

The game is supposed to quit when one sheep "touches" the screen bottom. :)

Would be nice if you could specify the other cases. I didn't think of other keyboards than querty and quertz, so thanks for the point.

Alone in the Shadows by CireNeikual 2011-12-22T19:50:00

First of all: I love graphic style. The light and shadows are looking really good. The music is not entirely fitting the ambience, but overall feeling is great. Two suggestions: It would be good to know how much ammo you have left and there should be some indicator where exactly the weapons spawn: I only once found one before dying.
Btw: Cool Kitten-Reference :)

Tiny World Of Life by Tinco 2012-04-25T16:23:00

Cool game, even if I did not really understand what happened.

Background is really cool :)

I like it. Controls are a bit unprecise.

Great fish eat up the small by Aardvark 2012-04-25T11:03:00

First of all, thanks for the feedback! It's my first time using Gosu, but I thought using bundler would pack all the gems in the vendor-folder in the game directory. I'll have a look at this, thanks for telling me.

@Tinco: The flash should indicate that you move from the Galaxy view (with Big Boss in the middle) to a solarsystem (a Sun and Planets you can eat). The spiral thingy is the way back to Galaxy view. Maybe I should have

Great fish eat up the small by Aardvark 2012-04-25T11:03:00

*clarified this.

Great fish eat up the small by Aardvark 2012-05-03T22:15:00

Sorry, the balance is just shitty.

Great fish eat up the small by Aardvark 2012-05-09T09:46:00

That's strange, but running "gem install bundler" should fix this. And yes, Ruby 1.9.3 is required. Sorry, I'll add that.

Good Cell, Bad Cell by KhaoTom 2012-05-03T22:23:00
