Thank you very much, this is a great game!
Really self explanatory, great idea. Only it seems to me that the theme is constraining the game - I would like to play this as an endless game. Looking forward to smartphone release!
Great menus and the skydiving game
I was just eating pistachios and drinking beer and looking at the screen...
doesnt start
This is a solid puzzle game, good job! I hope you will continue your work on this.
Great!
Cool
Nauseating - yeah, reminds me of getting home really drunk. Everything orbits around :D
@Kwrky - the idea was to have an "orbiting" feel, so I use polar coordinate system and then translate it to cartesian viewport.
Hi guys, I suspect that game pace depends on screen resolution somehow (lower = faster), so I will try to fix that sometime
@ZeppelinCaptain Thanks for the warm words!
@johnl this is because the ship is orbiting!
@Endurion actually, I left the ability to move out of the screen intentionally, I liked the idea of having more maneuver space
Guys, I actually like you are getting dizzy, because on the first day of development I had a hard hangover. It means I succeeded in passing my feelings to you!
Thank you guys all for the responses!
Hi guys, finally found some time to make a bugfix build - made the game to be slower, display resolution independent, and fixed some other bugs.
Rad
Fun
Fun game, i like it doesnt have a crosshair
The best game in "Theme" nomination so far!
Looks like a fun game but it doesnt fit in my screen by height
Fun to play
Moody
Great graphics
Best for today so far
A bold game, great music
Great game. The concept, the details, and the transition between 2d and 3d.
Idea, music and animations are good, too fast for me to complete though
Good, made me push the buttons like crazy
Doesnt start: There should be 'Cave AstronautStandalone_Data'
folder next to the executable
Made me remember of my childhood and NES
Fun game
Cool looking ship and text details. This could use some audio though.
Good game
Good one
Great music and mood. Couldnt complete it though
Great music
Its a solid game, and the graphics is great
Fun game
Great idea, please make this entry into something more.
Wow
Cool
Cool game.
@ColonierGames Thanks, about the character sprites and the tiles movement - I did it partially on purpose to better mimic ZX Spectrum. But the characters could look better, you are right.
About the code, of course you are welcome to use it :D
Thank you for all the responses!
@ShellfishGames - it was intentional
@Marcellus Ukrainian
@ChrisMingay - You can open World.tmx file with Tiled and see the map "from bird's eye".
Cool
Cool
This is game is really fun to play. Please elaborate on it to make it a paid product.
Looks cool, but pressing return anywhere doesnt work.
Some serious mood here
Good.
This is cool
Wow, cool mechanic
Wow, this is some seriously cool stuff.
Great game!
Really cool and moody
Gnomes
Cool idea
Cool and moody
Very cool graphics.
This is cool
The picture looks sweet
Great art.
I think this is one of the best games this LD, congratulations. Seems like a good candidate for a smartphone port.
I like the art very much, especially the title/ending screens, looks zx-spectrumesque to me
Unbelievable how much is done in 48h
this is cool
The picture and the colors are great!
Great.
Hi @Cake&Code, thanks for the response. Actually now I am working on the next version of this game (and on the iOS port), where the issues you mentioned are already fixed. The main features of the new version will be rival AI cars and more levels. Also, we will try to do something with the music :)
Good limited palette graphics.
Fun
Yeah. This is it.
Lags a lot here
Wow, this one is really good. The first one I completed this LD.
Great game
Picture is cool, inspired by KRZ as it seems
This is a fun game.
The art is great, also I liked the potion bottles hanging on the waist.
Wow, this is a great game
Doesnt work
Wow, this one is good! I like the games that achieve 3d effect with 2d graphics.
Fun, I like two different viewpoints.
I like how 2d and 3d go together here.
Good music
Wow, this is a great game. You can always tell a game was made by the author of the engine. You should make a smartphone game from this.
This is fun game, the monster is great. I like the camera movement.
Wow, this is a production quality game. Unplayable in Firefox because of lags. Works fine in Chrome though.
Great effort! And actually an interesting game, reminded me of World of Goo
Great use of lights
Great animations
great expression
I like how one can read messages from console window.
Wow, this is a touching game. Is this you singing?
beautiful
Fun
Wow, realistic graphics.
Cool and simple storytelling through things
Nice
Thanks for all the comments, guys! Now I will try to expand this game a bit given the feedback from all of you.
Hi guys, added the post-compo build.
Great compo entry all around!
Great, really polished for a compo, besides several bugs.
Great entry, cool idea to use 3D sound to locate hidden objects, an interesting way to add fourth dimension to a space.
Wow, this is easily one of the best entries, congratulations.
Great entry, the game manages to tell a complete story while exploring new modes of gameplay. I like how solving simple puzzles affects the world around you. Also, the crude repetitive music created suspense for me.
