Cool game, but really had a hard time getting anywhere in terms of escaping -- probably because I'm not great at adventure games, but overall it looks great!

Good game, tells a story
I like the idea that you picked up from the theme.
Alt tabbing was a bad idea, colors and everything turned weird. Fixed by going windowed, but first had to rename the exe as the setup file was looking for "One Room.exe".
Otherwise I couldn't progress too much either - feels like there should be a way to open an inventory and use the stuff you've picked up, but can't quite figure it out. Doesn't seem to be any keyboard key, anyway. Will wait for more details and give it another try.
Game otherwise looks clean, and nicely sets the atmosphere. Intrigued by where it's going...
Nice atmosphere, the music and the graphics fit it very well. But although I'm a big adventure games fan, I couldn't find anything that looks like the start of the solution. I have the candle, the black pebble and the phone, I talked to both characters, tried to put every object on any place of the room but nothing happens. Will you post the solution or some clues ?
Hello,
Thank you all for your comments, really appreciate it.
@Nigic: I'm really sorry for the file name inconvenience. You can open your inventory by going to the top of the screen with your mouse (one of the ways used in classic adventure games).
@Quetzakol: I added the walkthrough.txt into the document.
Nice graphics and great story. I loved it.
I had some trouble in the beginning when trying to light the candle but after that I was able to figure the rest out very easily. Some of the solutions felt a little out there, but the game functioned like it was supposed to, After the door opened and I clicked on it, the game crashed and I got this message "An internal error has occurred. Please note down the following information. If the problem persists, post the details on the AGS Technical Forum. (ACI version 3.4.0.13) Error: prepare_script: error - 18 (no such function in script) trying to run 'hDoor_Interact' (Room4) Note, I did try to talk with Mike before I left, and Ricky had run back over to him as if I'd just found him. Hope that helps and nice work on the game!
Seems like it have no means to close application correctly. I had to kill it from the process explorer.
Well I feel stupid now.
I don't know if the game crashing when leaving the room was intended, but it made me chuckle.
Puzzles were creative, without being completely random. The tongue-in-cheek writing is nice. Liked it.
Good job!
Cool game and nice graphics, the eerie music helps. However the puzzles are really hard, i had to use the walkthrough for everything.
Alt-tab made all the colours weird, might want to do window mode next time.
Rescue Chicken got me here!
This game is great. I really liked the mood and the music. The graphics were awesome too. Great Work!!!
I got the Idea with an exit room too, but couldn't think of enough puzzles!
A very fun and interesting adventure game. Well done.
Remembered me of old school point'n click adventures! Looks and feels really nice! :D Great mood, thanks to the graphics and soundtrack! Nice choice you made here. :)
Runs nicely, but if another application pops something up, it kinda breaks the game and I have to close/open the game again to play.
Pretty challenging and well thought progress too! Congrats on making it! :D
