Cool stuff, the screenshots totally doesn't do the game justice. love the colorfade :D

Cool stuff, the screenshots totally doesn't do the game justice. love the colorfade :D
Sweet, Funny dialogues, interesting twist on the climbing genre. although i only got to the second level so far. nice game :D
sweet mechanics, ossom effects, nice art, good gameplay. love it <3
the guy looks cute. gameplay is rather boring though :(
i like how the world is distorted though :)
great, love it. definately got potential, although it gets repetitive rather quickly. in the begining you're able to just go around in circles and be fine most of the time.
it love to see some gameplay varieties, like barriers speeding things up temporarily if you move through, or invert the flow of circles.
also, very hypnotic, please dont add colors, i might play it all day long :P
[Like] despite having no sound :( :D
Very entertaining. i love how you interact with the character while talking to him. also, good idea to have the objects appear only when talked about. kind of reminds me of what happens in my head when i read a book :) good work!
(i hoped for a creeper boom in the end :P)
made me smile :D
I agree, single-key control made it feel rather slow-paced. Nice entry anyways :)
love the artstyle and gameplay idea,
lacks a cool soundtrack :(
great concept. apart from being constantly out of mana, it was quite enjoyable. i'd love to see some smaller levels with less features to get used to the gameplay. great work mate
Atmosphere is nice, the intro is too. didn't like the game mechanics though. the block building killed it for me, slowed the whole pace, didn't make sense.
love the menu screen distortion though :)
cool stuff! i like how the lava forces you to go through it quickly, check the path in advance. finally making a mazegame challenging and skillful :D
the controls make it quite difficult to navigate accurately :(
Yeah its definately a bit slow, but the idea is rad:D
Sweet music, awesome pixelart. <3
epic music is definately amiss, it would ease the pain of failing all the time :D
good work!
a bit short, but i really liked the narration. would love to see some variety to the events the mouse can experience :)
sad to hear :( yeah the game is quite difficult at times. sometimes skill is involved, the bumpers have a bit more luck involved i guess. i had no time to balance the levels, bear with me :)
maybe try watching the gameplay video for some pointers, it took me some tries there, but its definately possible :)
good to know that the balancing is WAY off though
Yeah you made a good point there :)
i keep tweaking the controls in the future, add more mobility features and stuff... thanks for the input :)
damn, jfroco, i hoped i fixed that. still work todo then :(
Thanks for the input rudy. one of the problems with that is, that is is adding a constant amount (the normalized direction vector) to the player sphere. i'm going to fix this in a later version
cool idea, interesting implementation, although controls are wonky. gameplay is a bit eventless.
would love to see an extended version :)
very cool, finally some music game \o cute grahpics, and also:
your bird friends are in bird jail. free them with your drum machine
thats the most epic quest title ever :D
Pretty cute, boring repetitive gameplay though.
Pretty cool, the editor is very barebones yet, but nice sandbox you have there :D
Controls were hardly working, player bounced off the planet uncontrollably. I wasn't able to plant any trees either.
I like the graphics style. The gameplay is poor.
Good job for making it in 6 hours though :)
Congrats to your son \o
Very cute, nice art design, solid gameplay. Quite hard to reach the goal.
I'd love a silouhette so you see where you're placing your tiles.
Neat concept, good job :D
Depressing, not much of a game unfortunately. Although inspires to think about stuff, which is good :D
Nice entry, apparently there should be music. It didn't load for me, so i voted audio n/a. If you now how it can be fixed drop me a message and i'll adjust the vote ;)
The dino launching mechanic is pretty fun, but the controls of the guy are awkward when walking around the planet.
Sorry to mention it here, but do you have by chance an intel graphics adapter? My game didn't run on my machine and i'm trying to figure the reason. Would be nice if you could contact me via twitter.com/wzl_ or @wzl in the #ludumdare chat. ty =]
Pretty cool. A bit bland graphics wise though.
The hitbox is pretty hard to judge.
Decent entry alltogether
Thanks for your comment ;)
Pretty neat entry you did, although it is hard to comprehend why and how the planet moves and will behave from explosions. The idea itself is interesting though. Good job.
PS: There's someone else from hannover -> TcStyle. We're not alone \o
Interesting, we basically built the same game :D
Love you'r water smoothing, how did you do it?
I'm in the #ludumdare chat as <wzl>. hit me up if you like :D
Pretty cool soundtrack, very ambient. Gameplay is indeed rubbish :D
Thumbs up for nomnom sounds :D
Cute rts like. Would be nice if you could assign jobs to goblins. Looking forward to the pillaging part of the game. Loved the animations aswell :D

The graphics and sounds are very solid, but the pacing is bad, the challenges get too difficult too quickly without getting to learn your tools. Also this game is too hard :P

Hey there, got around rating your game :D Also wrote a mini review!

Interesting mechanic. Gameplay could vary a little more, like more interactions with different objects or persons. Cool idea though :D
minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#arhpositive
Very awesome. I had a feel you'd been going for a twist like that. Too much spoilers in the description ;)
Love the appeal and the great sountrack!
Very nice entry!

I also added your entry to the list of featured games \o
Nice evil game. I like the narrative :D
Also i wrote a mini review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#infernet89
Want me to link your use someplace?
Great! Very sweet art style. I'd love to see it complemented by some cute sound effects and music. Feels amiss. But i almost bursted when the cat shaked incontrollably in its desperate attempt to release a poopy. :D
Here's a little mini review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#aare
Let me know if you want be to link your name someplace :)
Enjoyable. I liked improving my path with each try. It got even better when i realized that [Shift] let's you dash. Although that evil guard patroling in the end of the camera room always got me!
Here's a little review about it :D
http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#timtipgames
What an odd game. Not sure if i like it or not :P
Interest visualizations though.
The interface is confusing since it lacks icons and descriptions. It would have been helpful to be able to pick the abilities directly from the ability screen. The idea seems novel though and has potential if you'd be shown the impact of your actions in the game :D
Here is your review good sir: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#Monxcleyr
Nice twist on the villain theme. Love the character animations, but i have something to add to your issues: What's up with the control scheme? :P Good work anyways \o
Here's my mini review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#joyboxed
If you want your name to link someplace, let me know :)
Wonderfully disturbing soundtrack. Creates a nice atmosphere for the game :D
minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#crashbanito
Ok here's some thoughts:
would be nice if the movement is actually aligned with the grid, so instead of 450deg, you move 30 deg diagonally, helps keeping the appearance.
The collision is buggered, but i suppose you're aware of that.
There's only 3 active abilities, so instead of cycling them i'd suggest using 3 different buttons for them. i accidently used the wrong skills too often :P
Mechanically it's great and i had a blast playing it. Spice it up graphically and put it up on Kongregate <3 good stuff guys
Minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#udrian
Interesting concept, but somewhat lacking in it's execution. I could imagine this as some kind of two player game where one side constructs the base while the other controls the ship.
minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#lotusgame
Cute little platformer. Would be nice to have more mechanics in the game, it is after all an evil lords death lair.
Sweet arts :D
review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#Cryovat :D
Cute game :D
I wrote a little review on it, you can check it on http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#pinion
If you have a twitter account, or someplace else you want to me to link, let me know and i'll add it in there too :)
*flip* *flap* cool stuff :D would have loved to fling them into spikes or other deadly contraptions. Good stuff. Rooting for the deluxe editions! Please more deadlyness :D
Tiny review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#vrav
Ingenious mechanic! Unfortunately the game's a bit dull. Looking forward to a post compo version though <3 (do eet!)
Fun game and awesome naration! Really enjoyed this one!
Here's a little review about it: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#jsmars
Want me to link your username somewhere?
This is pretty good, I really liked what you did there!
Here's a more complete opinion about it: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#Frib
Good work mate!
This was fun! The walk animations are hilarious :D The ai is smart enough to be challenging and reasonable. Would love to see more mechanics built into it :D
Here's a mini review: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#Sanguine
This is so enjoyable. Good atmosphere going. I couldn't make up my mind if the graphics are horrible or genious though :D I didn't manage to commit all of the crimes though ;/
Minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#angrygeometry
Nice idea, but it seems there's little strategy to it, as spamming everything seemed to work best for me. Good implementation nontheless :)
minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#muu
Visually and aurally pleasing indeed, but the game play was rather dull. Would have loved to see more to this, as the gameplay really compromises its strong points.
This is great! The dialogues are hilarious. The mechanics take a little to get used to.
And eventually i put all my men in one team and a nuclear strike wiped them all out. Had 0 men left but the game was still running. Should check for that condition ;)
Minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#PapyGaragos
Thats a nice game. I chuckled when mario came to save the princess :D
The pathing seems broken and the unit interaction seems to bug out more often than not. I'd love to see more gameplay variety, like laying traps or building mazes, maybe creating more units. PostCompo version? :D
Also I love the telly overlay.
Minireview: http://ldmr.wzl.vg/#emveyh
Love it! the second one was a tad arbitrary. Loved the tunnel though! Very nice :D
Interesting concept, cute visuals. I never get those games though. Everything seems so random D:
I didn't quite figure all the puzzles, having a playthrough video would be nice :)
Chickenballs! Cool how much variation you could draw out of it! Nicely done.
Solid entry, good writing and nice processing on the photos. All together makes up some nice eery atmosphere. Would love to play it some more but i got stuck. D:
Btw, you said you got "no error" on my entry, you should be able to play it if you click them away (there should be around 5 of them boxes, explanation is added in the games summary)
The sounds chosen where highly irritating and i couldn't bear the game for too long. A shame since i liked the idea. Would love to see a different or more comfortable sound design in it. Good work overall!
Interesting concept. Took a bit to figure out, but i like the gameplay that emerges. Awesome that you added that many checkpoints too! would be rather frustrating without them!
And BUGS :D sometimes i was rolling around midair, and then later on when i pressed right and up simultaneously it totally went nuts!
Good game though!
Nice work on the 3d rasterization/quantization(?!) :D Would love to see more gamplay with this though! Good work
Awesome, an entry with dnb tunes <3 insta-upvote :D
Great game, nice concept, horrific player physics :P
Otherwise solid entry, very enjoyable!
Awesome twist! Love it. And hella difficult all for the right reasons!
Best (worst?) score: 572.190
Great concept, great execution!
It's a bit of a let down to now have some kind of measure of how well you did.
A few remarks on the design:
Artwise it's very slick, love all the variation you put in there, and especially the hazing for the background! Although i'd love to see a change in environment if you advance further.
Gameplay-wise i love how the slashing works, it's fun to use it, but it's also rendered useless by the sliding mechanic which is easier and more reliable to use, and splashes through several enemies.
Otherwise the enemy never got to slash me, which removes much of the challenge. I'd love to seem them evade, jump or follow you for a bit.
Good work overall, lot's of fun to play \o Looking out for a post-compo version :D
Cute game, Adorable character! Unfortunately the controls felt too floaty to me though so i couldn't really enjoy playing it.
But Music is lovely too :D
Great entry! I love your mashup, really quite the idea. The abundant use of particles makes it pretty hard to focus your ballthingy when just bouncing up and down, and the physics didn't seem quite right. What i miss in this game is a kind of challenge, since press and hold the right arrow key pretty much wins the game. Different blocks could have different properties, like green is extrabouncy, so you have to use a patch of green to get over an obstacle, if you 'use up' all green blocks you'll have to find a different route or restart. stuff like that to just get a little more variation into gameplay, to keep things fresh.
The art choise is pretty nice, and i loved how you boxed the tiles. And i only now realize on the screenshots that you tried to make actual shapes of it (i did realize the house though xD)
Good stuff!
Interesting graphic style. Nicely executed. But i guess the story was too meta for me. The automated transitions didn't really help reading all the text either. Good effort for 48hours!
Also i fixed my entry, if you wanna check it out again, it should work now :)
Interesting attempt to make a game out of the game of life. Quite intruiging really.
Also i fixed my entry, so if you'd like to check it out again, you should be able to play it now! :)
Pretty difficult game. The enemies shoot-interval is pretty short which makes it hard to jump inbetween and shoot at the same time, let alone hitting them. Nothing wrong with difficulty really, but you need your time to get accustomed to the rhythm of the game.
Sweet entry anyways :)
Yeah Ati drivers are my bane every LD. I'll try to find someone who can help me debug it for Nvidia adapters. A fixed version should be up later today or perhaps tomorrow.
Sorry for that ;/
Thanks for the detailed reports everyone.
Yes i uploaded a version that fixed the errors mentioned before. Now that introduced new ones. Unfortunately i don't have an Nvidia card to test it myself so it is a lot of back-and-forth remote-debugging.
The ACAL error is new though. I'll get the latest build and see if it helps :)
I'll let you know when it is 'fixed' :D
Thanks all! Glad to see that it seems to be working now for everyone!
Yeah the art is inspired by demos, and i want to get further into that direction. We'll see what i can come up with ;)
A Y-Invertion setting will be available in the post-compo version.
The most polished game i played yet! Menu, options, custom keys, map editor, solid level design, intruiging mechanics, nice variety on the levels. Good job man, i'm impressed :D
Interesting entry, the block-generation mechanics could be nicer and more predictable, and the controls need an overhaul. The concept has a compelling incentive though!
War never changes, except when it does.
Cool entry. Interesting presentation, if a bit dry, but i guess that sells the atmosphere even more so :D
Getting a more fallouty vibe from this than fallout 4 actually. good job on that :D
