neat
frustrating. need radius damage, sword slashing, magic spells and bombs. damn rabbits!
nice game, could have done with some music + sfx which would have complimented it well
nice attempt, not sure that it really matches the theme though
I was sad that we could not see in the kitchen or the toilet.
fantastique!
I couldn't be bothered installing the latest DX redist, on slow net connection so downloaded the missing dll instead. Nice retro feel, scored my first touchdown ever (non-american)!
nice sound bites!
Nice polish on the artwork, worked fine on my i7 laptop with integrated graphics. (HD 3000)
bit of a strain on my eyes to play, otherwise quite inventive!
registration is a bit of a downer...
Couldn't open the 0.3 zip, winrar says the archive is damaged.
executed well, congrats!
great piece of work, very polished.
Had to find and download OpenAL (missing OpenAL32.dll), neat little game.
Would have liked some sound, esp for a platformer.
Amusing audio.
awesome game, played the bonus level for quite awhile too.
nice entry, well done on rating so many games too!
nice game, music reminds me of twinkle twinkle little star a little too much.
It's made with Java 7, which isn't for general use yet, so we can't run it.
Yeah, don't want to install, Kelly's comment is spot on.
Fun but not very challenging, great idea though. Hope you extend it!
I like the aesthetic, shame about the lack of music, would go towards making a brilliant little game.
Comments much the same as everyone else, still a very good effort.
great voice acting, 5/5 on Theme!
I wish you'd done something for the actual theme, cute game though.
playthrough video so we can rate?
You nailed the music for this one.
The hitbox for the shirts is currently off to the right a little, will make a fix soon. Thanks for playing! I wasn't able to participate in the first 48 hours but I had the jam day to get this much done.
fixed the hit boxes, thanks again for the feedback :)
The gabriola.png error was due to path separator issues, I've fixed them and reuploaded a directly runnable .jar which contains all resources.
original, I like it.
nice artwork, not sure the music fits entirely but it's still good, reminds me a bit of Descent I think. The movement is nice and I like how the stars flicker a bit.
original, nice work!
lack of music is a real shame
great use of colour!
The jumping sounds make my laptop speakers sound like they're popping and scratching, had to stop after the third screen.
Submit what you had, not a jpg.
nice sfx and music, physics remind me of bart and the beanstalk, has just the right amount of difficulty :)
nice work on the music and artwork, I only wish it progressed a bit faster!
Original, music is a nice touch, however it gets a bit repetitive. Nice work on rating so many games too.
Got a bit impatient having to travel so far to some arbitrary x/y coordinate... brings back awful memories of Far Cry 2.
If you make a playthrough video I can give a rating.
keyboard doesn't work at main menu
too hard for early morning xmas hangover brain... watched the playthrough video instead. okay... :(
Audio track didn't play, latest Chrome Win7. Gfx felt a bit jerky, not sure how the game related to the theme.
no windows binary, no play...
fun and adrenaline packed action!
Similar to Redwind, with a bit more work, this could be quite nice. Personally, the player speed feels too slow, jumping too high and the mouse movement feels off. Keep at it though!
shame there was no music, running or jumping :( good luck for the next LD though.
I got trapped in a wall in the first room or fell off the screen? I don't know. Would be nice to be able to skip dialog. I can read faster...
Jam entry.
a few minor qualms about controls and registration for jumping on things, an otherwise nice attempt at LD, well done.
a neat little game but not sure it's really strong in respect to the theme.
Bleak, I love it.
I won!
no windows and no gameplay video...
could you explain how your game matches the theme?
Win 7 64-bit, i7 hd 3000 intel graphics, installed the VS2010 runtime, tried running your game, it never starts, just seems to go in an infinite loop without bringing a window up.
would have liked some music and automatic level progression, but otherwise cool!
Win 7 64-bit. Entered '5' Bunch of windows flashed, then one window which wouldn't let me drag it without it resetting its position?
cute, esp the title screen.
need an exe...
Found it confusing, wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing, got a little frustrating.
can't play, no windows build.
really cool, I played some of the level more than once!
my girlfriend says that your game is really cute! such a nice idea.
couldn't find the upper path or what was supposed to be north-east before getting bored, found some gates...
played all the way through, quite good!
I liked it overall but it was repetitive in the end, I wanted to overcome the humans.
haha, this is cool
1206. Is that music original?
The music sounded generative, like one of those cell based music making programs, I think it worked. The artwork was lovely but the gameplay felt a little empty, would have benefited from some sound effects. 5/5 for graphics.
The dialog made me annoyed I wanted to just skip it because I read so fast. Otherwise very impressive.
rated due to kvisle!
novel idea, nice little story.
I think you've nailed it.
A great idea well executed, enjoyed playing this.
original concept well executed, my hat goes off to you.
Great music, original idea, congrats!
let me jump over the houses!
Just crashes on start like the first comment.
nice graphics, all that clicking was a bit taxing, could have done with some cheats to increase the number of red blue things and keyboard controls!
nice concept, bit of a clickfest in the end though
great music, great titlescreen, loved it.
congrats on making something, good luck with your next game!
nice polish overall, but started feel a bit grindy by the third.
Found the lighting distracting but interesting, controls felt a like they could be tweaked a bit. Would have been good to see how you could make it relate to the theme if you had more time.
frustrating... sometimes I'd mistype the first letter of one word but be looking a different word I was trying to type.
fun a but a bit of a clickfest, looking forward to your next entry!
Hmm... no executable? Packaging after the deadline is allowed. Shame I can't run it, I don't have python installed. Also, you would save *a lot* of space by using ogg instead of wav for the sounds and music.
Looks really neat and clean, some good potential here. Let down a little by lack of music, but shows a lot of promise!
froze for me after awhile, otherwise very cool!
nice work, liked the music, gameplay could probably do with some progression... disaster or something
fun, good work.
love the grass.
one of the best entries I've seen so far, love the vocals, keep up the great work!
could have done with some music and better movement
The art style had a very washed out feel to it, not sure I liked it with so much motion, otherwise congrats on this excellent piece of work!
I liked the graphics and how it responds to input, but didn't find it brought out the theme that well.
brilliant!
disappointed you didn't invest the time to actually turn this into a video game, could have been great!
if you actually coded it, you could do multiplayer and singleplayer AI, add some awesome music, chat and you'd have a winner!
very cool, enjoyed the music and the concept
I like the graphics, even though there is no music they give the game a unique feel. Enjoyed stomping the little white men.
Interesting if not a little hard to control due to low resolution.
Overall: 5/5!
Innovation: 5/5!
Fun: 5/5!
Theme: 5/5!
Graphics: 5/5!
Audio: 5/5!
Humor: 5/5!
Mood: 5/5!
great to see you finished this :)
great music
5/5 for audio :)
hmmm why do I feel like I've just played a starwars game?
amazing, but frustrating.
interesting take, well executed, shame about the lack of audio.
would have liked to see something closer to the theme, still cool though.
the motion with the shaking made it feel unsmooth, otherwise a good entry.
Dig your use of charcoal, it certainly has a knack for conveying negative emotion/terror/ugliness.
FireSlash, it's supposed to convey that each person actually lives in their own tiny world, oblivious to the larger world.
not sure if it was stong on the theme, but otherwise good game!
hard and the sound effects made me cringe.
well done on the game and the amount of games you've rated, would have enjoyed some music with this one though.
great music, I love jazzy tunes with platformers
felt like it could have been faster with tighter physics.
fun, collision detection was a bit off, had to flick left/right quite a bit on edges, congrats on your entry!
The static sound is very distracting, I had to turn the sound off completely.
Spent 15 minutes on it, had the best mood of any entry I've tried so far. The reverse music and the guitar tracks were very cool.
reminds me of doom, i fragged and i had fun.
The silence was deafening.
didn't like the stock sounds... would have been better if there were original sfx
Nice job overall, liked the graphics ;P
good fun, could have used some music!
Nice work, felt like an original game :)
Loved the music.
I think I get it but I'll agree it's incoherent.
good work on the graphics and the music, the platformer itself I became bored of. Sometimes the graphics would shimmer, not scroll smoothly (float rounding?)
Good first game, keep at it!
Unfortunately I don't have an android device.
I had fun.
I dig the art style and the idea, could use a bit more onscreen instruction/hints.
Hilarious idea. For some reason the audio didn't work on chrome (latest version) so I have rated n/a for audio.
The site appears unreachable here. I'll try to check back inc case you upload to dropbox or something.
Nice, I made it to the end. Well done!
Short and sweet. I felt I was transported there if only for an instant.
My heart soared when I saw what this was. I think you should definitely add the terrain destruction. Very cool idea and execution.
Incredible artwork. This has quite a lot of promise. Looking forward to an update if it gets sounds and music. Well done!
Well done. I did start to sense the feeling of being in a movie while reading. Damn tropes.
Cutest game yet. Well done!
Brilliant choice of audio. Well done!
Very cool, but once I've walked three times, I think you could do some fade transitions to the eating and sleeping and text change. I went to the end anyway. Well done!
Solid music and artwork. Would be interesting to carry more than one dish (and balance it without toppling) to customers. Maybe a bar above the customer to show their satiety decreasing too. Well done!
I enjoyed the piano piece. Well done!
The dropbox link is not working: 404 not found.
Interesting fog of war. It felt like it took too long to uncover and move around though.
Fun. Impending sense of dread trying to escape. Well done!
Super cool. A very fast mood. Well done!
5/5 for that opening sequence, love it!
the zip file is corrupted..
The music really pulls together the artwork and mechanic. Excellent work!
Visually pleasing. Felt like I needed stronger weapons as it progressed though. Well done!
I had some trouble playing with a touchpad, but otherwise it was cool. Well done!
I enjoyed cheating through this one since it was still challenging to ride the block I was moving. Well done!
Interesting concept. I agree with some of the other comments re sound and a little more help on instruction. Maybe the game speed could be increased (turbo mode?) Well done otherwise!
Looks and sounds very nice, but I can't tell if I'm playing or just tilting looking foolish. I sat my android device down on the couch next to me and won a few levels without any interaction. Definitely an interesting direction though, well done!
Classic. 184 points. You could probably expand on this into more areas. Well done!
I love that this Twine entry has graphics and music. Well done!
Nice dolphin movement. Good sea gradient. Scary fast moving fish. The blocking UI notifications could probably be integrated into the gameplay to make it a bit smoother, like arcade style centre of the screen messages. Well done!
If only I could come back at night when the surf patrol had gone home. Nice work overall.
