LD22 — Alone

This is a really great game! I actually would like to know how you were able to get such a unique effect! Just...Absolutely...Gorgeous!

5 DAYS by matthias_zarzecki 2011-12-23T02:17:00

Great Game~! The graphics fit very well with the over all aesthetic! As I played through though it got a bit monotonous. The inclusion of a reticle would better the experience a lot! But overall This is an awesome game!

Very well done. Great Job!

Kaylin Norman's Generic Series: Platformer by Twisted Devotion 2012-01-03T03:52:00

Thanks for the reviews guys. Sorry for all of the bugs and errors. This being my First LD and all. This will obviously be the last time I work with "Construct 2" for a while.

Flod Embarks by amodo 2011-12-23T01:57:00

Great idea! I wish I could explore the planets a little bit more though. Also, capping the velocity of the ship would be a good idea as well as increasing the power of the break when turning so that way players won't go flying by planets ,but the over all concept is great!

LD24 — Evolution

Star's Requiem by davisan 2012-08-27T02:46:00

I like it! The style is awesome and the music fits!

Slimevolution by Pixelulsar 2012-08-27T01:57:00

The theme can get a bit annoying after the first minute or so. The controls are a bit slippery and often don't respond to my button presses which often leads to me crashing into bats and alligators a about 1 second after I press the button. The graphics look great though!

Dinosaur Survival Bash!! by Orni 2012-08-27T08:34:00

I like it, The graphics are great and consistent and the game play is challenging.

Oneway by azurenimbus 2012-09-17T01:54:00

I like this concept. It was a bit hard for me to latch onto in the first few levels but when I got it, I really had fun with it! I would say adjust the music and sound volume a little bit so that it balances out. Good game!

Evolution Stew by vede 2012-08-27T08:41:00

As I played the game the syringe in the top right corner taunted me, is it accessible? Anyway the game was fun to play, The audio lagged a bit when loop which may have caused the hope game to lag. Still a good game!

Gr0wth by Colisan 2012-08-27T02:36:00

I enjoyed this game, It got little challenging at the beginning. Heck The beginning was the most challenging thing I've ever!

Terminal Illness by chorinator 2012-08-29T07:41:00

I released a tweaked version of the game but I didn't want to break the rules of the compo/Jam so I reverted back to the original. Know that we have addressed it though :-) Thanks for your feedback!

Bit-Craft Evolution by eyehawk 2012-08-27T02:01:00

Looks really great! I love the graphics and music it all just fits! Only problem though is that for some reason it lagged a lot on my computer so I wasn't able to get the full experience. Good job!

'The Neon Pink Philosophy' by Zed 2012-08-27T01:49:00

I like the narrative :-) I chuckle every time it gets to those scenes. The decreasing score provides a good challenge! The graphics look positively neon. The loop is a bit repetitive but the witty dialogue more than makes up for it :-) Nice job!

Aqualution by alexandervrs 2012-08-29T07:52:00

The atmosphere created by this game was very lovely, The presentation was great! It took me a while to figure out that I could attack because I was entranced by the feel it created, Great Work!

LD25 — You are the Villain

This Is How It Ends by Ted Brown 2012-12-18T05:25:00

I really liked the mood in this game as well as the concept. It felt kind of strange having this relative discourse between being the lone survivor in a desolate wasteland (common for heroes of survival type games) and finding out through gameplay that you are the reason you are the lone survivor. Good job!

*Radio Silence* by Sidlis 2012-12-18T05:17:00

I had a hard time understanding exactly what was going on with the due to it's vague presentation. The atmosphere was really nice- it gave me an ominous feel like something was going to pop out and scare the bejeezus out of me!

ECHO CHAMBER by Loren 2012-12-20T00:34:00

I really like this game! The graphics are so simple yet they add to the theme this game presents. The subtlety and meaning hidden behind the player's actions is something I find Absolutely delicious! This is a very original idea and I think it should be continued further!

Necrominously Evil by Azlen 2012-12-20T01:01:00

Very interesting concept, a bit hard to grasp at first but that usually happens when you try to innovate or differentiate from the standard. This game had a great use of audio!

Enemy of the State by Arcantic 2012-12-20T00:55:00

This was enjoyable to play! The graphics are really nice and the controls are solid! You may have to adjust the resolution of the game though. The title screen for some reason was really disorienting--I speculate it's due to the use of dark complimentary colors in the wording (perhaps white on grey could work). If this goes unfixed it could ruin the initial appeal of your game, or make less users interested in the game.

The audio while good and fits the theme, could be adjusted to tiny bit to be easier on the ears--perhaps some reverb on the steps to emphasize the fact that the player is wandering through a maze of jails and making the knife stabbing sound a little bit quieter and more rounded.

Overall the mood for this game is really nice!

Good game!

Goat-Nappers by philhassey 2012-12-20T00:18:00

This is the only entry I've found this far that designed completely around goats! Great incorporation of the jam theme into this game and bonus points for designing around the "joke theme." Some instructions in a document on how to play would be nice! If you can do that I might be able to play with some of my game developer friends!

Legithief by nddrylliog 2012-12-20T00:04:00

For the short amount of time we had to make our games, I'm very impressed with that you've got here. The graphics are clear and colorful, the dialogue is witty and funny! the theme that you have here is very cohesive and the game play is interesting. a bit of advice though should you want to pursue this project further.

I had a hard time with the control scheme- not that I didn't understand it, but I found myself gravitating toward old control scheme methods and expectations. For instance having the mouse control the direction the character faces as well as the camera made me a little bit disoriented.

Great game!

You are the (NOIR) Villain by Graham Weldon 2012-12-20T00:41:00

The Theme, Graphics, Atmosphere and mood are top notch for the amount of time that you had to make this! There's a few things that need attention though...

An in game screen on how to play and a premise would be really great. What am I doing? Why am I doing it? whats that floating orb of light? (a cop?).

The camera needs to be adjusted to follow the mouse, or the mouse needs to be attached to the camera to make movement a little bit easier.

Lastly, adjusting the speed of the player's character slightly might make the game progress a little faster!

Nicely done!

Outcast (DEMO) by Twisted Devotion 2012-12-19T00:47:00

Hey, Sorry for the inconvenience, I fixed the bug (somewhat) and I added a skip button.

Holly Jolly Pyromaniac by UndergroundPixel 2012-12-20T02:05:00

Great game! Double the points for framing it around christmas- that's like two themes in one! I think this do REALLY well as a mobile game on the market! Cash money!

Anyway, AWESOME GAME!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Blind Spot by RebelMoogle 2015-04-24T20:32:00

Hey folks. I'm the other guy who worked on this, Kaylin Norman-Slack. I'm glad people are enjoying it! It was an interesting challenge to convey the idea of using echolocation to move around the environment!
