Higher Quality version (didn't have time to bake lightmaps yesterday):

Hi, thank you for all the great comments. I hope you are all still readoing this, if so:
@Darkhogg:
Yes, someone informed me later that the webplayer does not actually work on Linux. I have added a standalone link in one of the comments. Someone has tested it for me with Wine and said it worked, so I hope you can play it!
@Cakemonitor: The darkness issue, it was a bit of a stylistic choice, and honestly I did not have the time left to completely balance the lighting. So I am sorry it ruined the experience for you. In my second comment there is a link to a higher quality version. It is lighter than the original and you can clearly see the environment.
@Winterblood: Great suggestion! I am considering completing the full concept, and I will check if a proximity triggers works better for the puzzles.
I love it! You are combining like 3 ideas I had for this LD into one (Big monsters, round planets, small humans). Awesome! But why do you walk slower when the planet gets smaller?
I liked the presentation. It is a bit hard to see the differences between planet sometimes. Maybe giving them various colors would help in this regard?
Man, this game is hard! I like the concept, and it is a fun little game. Just needs some control tweaks.
I beat the red dude! It is already a fun little game, I was thinking that this could be really great on kongregrate with multiplayer and then maybe some missile launchers, etc?
Hey BenW, I like your game a lot! Ok, maybe there is no win/lose condition, but you did everything really great. From the intro building up to the game, to the music and the graphics. It is a very relaxing experience, definitely worth expanding!
It is a fun game! Why is red the universal color for evil? Is it because of trafficlights?
Good music! I had fun digging around and placing new objects :).
Fun game! I liked eatimg bigger and bigged things. Controls are a bit tough to get a hang of, and the traps are mean ;).
Hi guys, talked on IRC, add your link below so I can review your games ;)
Thank you for all the great comments, it makes Cavit and me very happy :).
A minimap would have been so useful! And we had not even thought of using the keyboard to rotate around the planet! Funny how we missed such things, because they are so easy to implement. Thank you for the feedback.
I am going to play the LD games you all put in the comments right away :D.
That is funny, I didn't know what Airmech was until you mentioned it ^^. But yeah! It looks very similar in style! Hmmm...I should go play airmech now.
Interesting concept! It is fun to play and worth developing :).
I liked it a lot! Good graphics, good balance.
Hi! I wanted to play the web version. But I think the link is dead, can you check it?
Leave a message with a link to your entry if you want me to review your game ;).
Thanks for all the feedback! The game definitely could use some tweaks, but you know, 48 hours, only so much I could do ;).
Oh, and I did not know about infectionator, it looks fun! Going to give it a shot later today.
I like the concept, and completed the levels :). There is quite some randomness to the events, like the "enemies" killing each other, or refusing to shoot. With some polish you can make a really fun puzzle game with this!
Well, you already know I think this is one of your best games yet. I like the mechanics and how you created depth just with scaling and value shifts. The graphics are also a step up from your earlier games. The graphics are still simple, but very efficient with a good color selection.
Very interesting visual style and weapon design. Somehow with the convex planet/concave ceiling I thought that maybe it would be cool if you could grapple to the ceiling/enemies spawn there? I dunno, popped into my mind :).
I love it, the depth of field might be a tad too much, but overall great mood and solid gameplay.
