Loved the music and the idea. The item descriptions were very funny if a little repetitive.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → DiggyDig

Good game mechanic and nice item descriptions. With some unexpected things/enemies it would be great. ^^
I thought that was Underground Jesus at first. I RUBBED A LAMP FOR HOURS. :(
oh noes... not working for me on Win7
I couldn't get it to work on Win 7, I got an error related to my ATI card :-/
FrameBuffer incomplete, FrameBufferUnsupported errors thrown before crashing upon running it. On Win Vista. Alas, it looks fun. :(
Poor dwarf. So much digging and not a bit of hematite or clownite in sight!
Amazing game! The idea is simple, yet unique, and I found it really fun to dig around with my eraser pick :-) Here are some comments/suggestions:
- I found it actually more difficult to dig with the bigger brush sizes. And since I didn't know whether a box was more jumping power, or more digging power, I was a bit frustrated with the difficulty in the end. Intentional? If not, you might consider adding a button to reduce paint size.
- The controls were a bit sticky. The game often wouldn't recognize walk+jump buttons pressed at the same time.
- This game is begging for jewels/ore/score (an ending would be welcome too!)
- You should make a bottomless pit somewhere for the game over screen "They dug too deep" :-)
Thanks for the game!
Digging is always fun in games. The music is quite nice, which is rare among Ludum Dare games. The loot descriptions are very funny, but they could be more varying. Some kind of end would've been nice. Found the cat and most likely all chests. He's quite a digging powerhouse in the end. :)
Ah, it needs .NET Framework? (Might be worth mentioning in the description :) sadly I don't have the stuff to run it atm.)
Nice game! I really enjoyed the music. I did think the game was a tad easy, but I really like the concept.
