A good game, but gott in himmel, the audio when they fire.
Nice little platformer. The powerup abilities were well implemented in what I saw.
An actual fun game. Trying to time the release just right to hit the platform was actually engaging. Well done.
Interesting. I think this would have worked better if the scale was smaller - zoomed up the way it was in this game made the graphics suffer more than they needed to.
A straight up mix of 4s and 5s for you. This was an excellent game. Graphically smooth, conceptually neat, and actual solid gameplay. Well done on all counts!
I couldn't get past level one. I liked the neon intro graphics. I get the impression level 1 was a matter of getting up on top of the slant and rolling down without using energy - but I could not pull it off.
Interesting. Mostly I notice that it was pretty hard to hit the fish even if I pressed A. Maybe that was the skill component?
I always like a game with a greco-roman theme. A little bit on the loose side with controls, but otherwise fun.
A great game for 48 hours. It immediately made me think of it as a game made by the Soviets, as if they still existed - a la the Archer universe.
Hahaha. Excellent. Loved the humor. Especially the deer. You had fun with this, clearly.
Nice game. Actually felt rather fun to play. The sort of thing I'd like to see worked on with more time than LD allows - it may turn into something more broadly appealing. 1up potato is a nice touch. :)
Canyon,
I didn't even think that this wouldn't qualify as a game, actually! But to anyone who's thinking as much, let me say one word in my defense. Well, two words.
Slot machines.
They are games. Universally recognized as such, and for the vast majority of them (let's leave aside modern video slots) there is one aspect to them. You pull a lever, and you wait. That's that, you are done. There is literally nothing to these machines other than strict mechanical luck.
If slot machines are games - and unless wikipedia is lying to me (what are the odds?) they are - then so is Quest Space. Say it's too restricted, say it's too boring, say whatever, but at least grant me that.
Thanks, btw, to all of you who have played and left comments, positive or negative. This was a damn fun thing to make!
Excellent. Took me a moment to notice what you were actually doing here, but this was a brilliant idea. Loved the little opening animation. I love roguelikes in general, but I did not expect anything like this in this jam. Great job.
I admit, the first thing that surprised me about the controlled state was having what looks like a nice LCD TV. Interesting little game.
Excellent game. Fits the theme of the compo perfectly in my opinion. Actually challenging, the difficulty ramped up nicely, easy to learn without instruction. Good job!
Extremely well done game. The concept not only fits the theme, but it actually seems like a very original and fun puzzle idea in its own right. Congrats!
Those normal enemies really remind me of the Scarlet Witch's headgear. And hey, you made an actual game and that's better than I did. Good work.
Goddamn, dude. This is a creative game. And it fits the theme at the same time. I'm actually jealous! Great work.
Great music, gorgeous graphics. Really nice style to it, and it's fun too.
Excellent job, one of the most creative and theme-focused I've seen so far.
Really impressed with the graphics on this one. I really like the style, like Minecraft Plus.
Giving me a kind of Tim & Eric Awesome Show Great Job vibe with this one.
Interesting game! WASD and space is a little bit awkward feeling, but otherwise nice attempt.
Yeah, the 10 seconds - I had planned the game around the theme, but didn't get to implement it. Thanks for the feedback all, I'll check out the bugs.
Hey, thanks. And here I was wondering if that was too small for anyone to notice. :)
I plan on working on this one post-LD. I like the idea, I just spent so much time fretting over art and experimenting with programming that the actual 'game' got maybe 4 hours of focus. Oops. Well, LD is great for educating people where they need to focus.
Falcon - on the bright side, the actual game has little to it! But the web link works fine for me and others. Not sure what's up there. :(
I'm still trying to figure out this 'hang' and lag talk. It seems to be working fine on my end, but I'll check it out.
Alright, it looks like the 'lag' thing was possibly a hosting artifact. It's up on Newgrounds now. Hopefully this solves that problem.
Strange game. I actually had trouble understanding what to do even with looking at the instructions. Nice music in the back, and nice interface overall.
Interesting concept. Took me a moment to figure out just how to play it - a bit awkward in the interface, but still a solid game for LD.
Strange game, but I liked the graphics. Definitely had a nice mood to it.
Nice game, and in particularly nice puzzles that are reasonable but still challenging to do within the 10 second limit.
Nice game. Good, responsive controls, well laid out levels.
I remember there's a name for this kind of game, but I can't recall it offhand. Sort of like operation? Either way, nice and slickly executed - well done.
Really slickly done. Great graphics, fun gameplay. Great job.
