Not bad. I noticed it is much easier to just run and forget fighting, so you might want to make them baddies easier and more (because we all love bashing things :D)
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → Isolated Assault

Yeah I was thinking about that, having more fighting but yet more enemies. Thanks for playing! :)
Pretty great game! I like the concept of staying in shaded areas and the sunglasses giving you a break. The audio was good too and I did feel that the theme was shown well. Good job.
Thanks! Now I just need more people to play! :P
This was a pretty good concept! I also agree it's easier to run around than it is to fight the enemies, so maybe ways to make enemies more prominent would be a good thing.
Cool :O
Mood - Good! Theme - Good! Graphics... well... anyway, you can rush through it without being caught. The game needs an element that forces you to go to shaded areas. Also, I liked the basic idea of the game. Audio was also OK :)
Thanks for the comments! Yes I pretty much thought of all these things... AFTER the compo and jam ended...
I might make a second version for fun to fix these things and turn it into a full length game soon. If I do, I'll be sure to put a link on Ludum Dare!
Thanks for playing! :)
The music delivers the good mood for this game, but as some else stated it is too easy if you just run avoiding the "evil boxes" (that can be beaten even if I don't have the sunglasses on; not sure if intended)
Thanks, and yes that's intended. If you start swinging around without glasses you might hit one that's invisible.
The idea and mood are great, but the fighting is extremely awkward. Also the best strategy to beat the game is just to run for it without caring for enemies or shadows at all.
Yes I know! :P
Don't worry, for the second version (once Unity 3.5 is out of beta) I'll fix these and add more content to make it a real game! (Possibly even a storyline)
I liked the innovative idea before I started, but the execution didn't seem to work for me. I couldn't turn on axis. I think this entry is technically a 'level' or a 'level/texture pack' since I'm pretty sure you didn't write the bulk of the game logic scripts like walking/mouse view/head bob, level designer, etc. I'm not sure what the rules are on that sort of thing.
Sorry? You couldn't turn on "axis"? The "execution"? Do you mean the executable/.exe?
A texture pack or level? On an existing game? If you don't believe I made the game, you can watch the timelapse here:

And I said ahead of time I would be using Unity's Standard Assets Here (Which is not against the rules):

There is no "level designer" script, I manually placed the level scenery using Unity's Editor, which is built in to Unity 3.4.
I think you need to elaborate more?
Nice job! I wandered around quite a bit, but never found the chopper :-( I found the mouse sensitivity quite high - it made it really easy for me to turn around too fast and lose track of which direction I was going.
Yes, did you read the README?
I sort of ran out of time and never got to put in options such as render distance or mouse sensitivity.
Pretty good, but got old relatively quickly. I agree there was little point to fighting anything, especially because there seemed to be issues with enemies getting hit a lot of the time.
Could not switch to requested resolution...
Sorry I don't understand by "could not switch". Did you mean the selected res at the beginning of the game didn't work? If so, how did it not work? Did the game just not run?
