LD22 — Alone

Mountain by voxel 2011-12-19T21:35:00

A clever use of the community, congratulations! :)

Richter's Party by condr 2011-12-19T21:46:00

I sense your meat in this game, little boy!

Funny mechanics but god, it is hard as hell!! The walljumping should be improved, sometimes it doesnt look like it should.

Good work!

ZERO2 by kato9 2011-12-20T22:40:00

Good narration, and great visuals. Maybe it would had been nice to know when you can scroll, sometimes I didnt realize I could scroll.

Congratulations!

A Puzzling Loneliness by Bonecuss 2011-12-19T21:43:00

I really liked the game, there are some concepts there that could make a major game. Make the interaction was a little bit jerky and the keys didnt feel intuitive (I have to repeat some maps several times even knowing how to solve them).

Congratulations!

By Your Side by Draknek 2011-12-22T20:26:00

Suuuper intelligent game, I loved how every map introduced a new mechanic using the same puzzle pieces.

VOXTERIUM by Kitch 2011-12-19T21:30:00

Wow, thats a cool game.

Some considerations:
- It needs moar glow!!1
- Some additive blending would be cool too.
- It needs a way know if there are badboxes on your sides.

Great work! Congratulations.

Alone in the city by tamat 2011-12-20T00:35:00

Marudziik, you are right, I should had read the rules first. About my framework, I have to say it is just a couple of classes on top of flixel, nothing fancy, really, I made it time ago to clarify some obscure flixel parts.

When I said "preparing the whole month" I meant psycologically, not a single line of code was written nor graphic was created till the start (I took the 48hs seriously).

But yes, I had help on the graphics, which let me focus on the coding (although I was supervising the graphics all the time).

Thanks for your comments, next time I will try to make it just by myself.

Alone in the city by tamat 2011-12-21T12:15:00

yep, I tryed but I cant from the entry page.

NightEscape by brus46 2011-12-19T21:14:00

I think the camera was too close. But I liked the overall aspect.

A Square Of Space And Time by PTSnoop 2013-09-14T10:22:00

101 Tiles 10 Seconds by matpg 2013-08-30T14:59:00

Time and Time Again by BrothersT 2013-08-31T15:12:00

Pleading Rain by Brassawiking 2013-08-31T15:33:00

very good idea, just with some ambient audio it would had been great

Solitude by rxi 2013-09-01T18:10:00

very neat, light effects where great.
maybe a little ending would had made it perfect

Tiny Petards by raver 2013-09-14T10:31:00

Very neat concept, maybe more modyfiers would make it better

Ten Seconds To Venus by markusfisch 2013-09-05T18:38:00

Loved your entry, maybe it is too fast to read the text but the idea is great!

Lawrence Dare Starring In- 10 Second Psychic by Beardbotnik 2013-08-26T16:39:00

Neat idea, it took me a while to get the concept, I was stressed by the audio.

CatWalk: Final battle by Pixelfan Games 2013-08-31T13:35:00

I loved the narrative of the game. One of the few games with a plot.

The Fractured Day by srimech 2013-08-26T17:04:00

Interesting, maybe the collision are too harsh, I got stuck in corners all the time.

PROBE TEAM by Andrew Shouldice 2013-09-02T10:24:00

Wow, you and I used the same aesthetics and a very similar game concept. Weird!
Great game!

Dan Dynamite by loxo 2013-09-07T17:25:00

Nice concept, and even the fast speed makes it interesting to play. Maybe it is too hard. I also miss a counter, or some type of way to measure the remaining time.

Fast delivery by stenol 2013-08-26T17:08:00

Peter Gunn in my head all the time...

It's You or Me by JtM 2013-08-26T17:01:00

There was an old game similar to final fight where there was a scene light this one, where you fall and have to grab another guy. I think it was The Punisher.
Anyway, nice work

Cosmic Commander by UnorthodoxGames 2013-08-30T17:12:00

Great idea, maybe movements are too slow but I liked a lot the concept.

Tracewire by Drachlen 2013-08-31T13:40:00

Loved the mechanics! I was missing maybe a countdown sound in the last 3 seconds to make you get more nervous. Great work

Hellbent Golemancy by aravol 2013-08-31T15:05:00

Interesting mechanics, it needs more actions though

The Village of Lost Time by EpaceGames 2013-08-26T16:34:00

Good work! I loved the progression!

Proletarian Ninja X by deepnight 2013-08-30T19:37:00

you nailed again...

Mission Luna by LTyrosine 2013-09-07T17:32:00

Great experience. Maybe if I could control some stuff using the keyboard or at least look through the window while I do it.

A DEUS by tamat 2013-08-26T10:29:00

You are right, I will do it for the post-compo version. I starting adding the gameplay mechanics 5 hours before the ending time :/

A DEUS by tamat 2013-08-26T16:42:00

player2 cant shoot, player1 shoots using the spacebar.
to lay mines as player2 simple press right mouse button.
But I know it is a little bit ofuscated.

A DEUS by tamat 2013-08-26T19:54:00

I thought about adding some friction but it is in the space! (although I can see how this game is not scientifically accurate in any way)

A DEUS by tamat 2013-08-30T14:50:00

Thanks for the comments. I would love to reuse some parts to do some kind of online game, but wont be realtime.
About the source code, well, its a web game, so all the source is available rightclicking on the web. Anyway, I created a zip and linked it here.

A DEUS by tamat 2013-08-31T18:39:00

It works perfectly in Firefox, Chrome is just a tip

Moonlight Running by ncannasse 2013-08-26T10:27:00

I like the progression on the action mechanics.
Good work!
