I got: *76* vases collected, largest stack *24*. Enemies kept spawning in front of me. A good concept that fits nicely with the theme.

I got to 60 vases and a largest stack of 22. Loved the concept, totally matches the theme. Good Job!

I really like it ! I was grinning to myself the whole time :P worth polishing !

The balancing mechanic is neat. Figuring out what was going on there and trying different strategies to control it was fun.

Really like the Indiana Jones style. It was a "back in my days" flash. Also the sound is really nice! Enjoyed playing it.

This was a lot of fun. I like the balancing vassels mechanic. Walking left for to long and then trying to bring them back to balance by walking right, really nice! Notice that all the coming things are just my humble opinions. I know its a game jam game, so things I know you coudlnt make things in the game in the given time. Nonetheless you should know what could make your game even better.

My problem with the game: If the vessels break after 5 blocks walking in 1 direction, and I have to walk 20 blocks to the left, then its kinda "walk 4 blocks left stop walk 4 blocks left stop etc". This gets boring after some minutes since its really repetetive.

So what Im saying is: I think the vassels break to fast. If they woudlnt break that fast, the player could move more, and then the enemies could move more as well = more action and same difficulty. Maybe the player could also run that would increase the difficulty a lot but it would bring a lot of depth to the game.

A suggestion: you could have levels which make you go upwards the whole time (camera keeps on moving upwards). The Goal would be to get x vassels out of y vassels. If you get x vassels and bring themto the end of the level, then you win the level. Difficulty would be easy to adjust and your game could have a nice difficulty curve. (And no stacking enemies :D Its always hard for me to get rid of them).

Apart from that: I really felt the game was innovative and fun to play. Also I need to mention that the time slow, before the bullets hit me was on point! It was fun playing your game, thanks for making it!

Awesome game. And awesome sound track. I ran on forever. Is the terrain continuously generated? I was hoping to find some grand finale. Like maybe a gigantic vase that shatters as soon as you approach it. I thought the slow mo effect was cool when the bullets got close. But after a while it could be a bit much. Just felt like I was walking through syrup. Especially since I took to the strategy of leaving vases behind and running for my life.

Awesome game, awesome entry.

Super interesting game mechanic with the "Dual game" going on. Needs a reset button though!

This was a really neat spin on the theme! I found the enemy spawns to be a bit unlucky later on, but the game was fun overall.

The volume and difficulty of enemies nullified the balancing mechanic, in my experience. At a certain point I just couldn't see how to keep any vases unbroken and dodge bullets at the same time. But the push and pull of the two systems is conceptually really nice!

Achei criativa a ideia

E um game divertido apesar dos gráficos escrotos, parabéns

One of the most creative mechanics I've seen so far :) Associating movement and balance, which forces you to stare at both screens to manage to keep everything on track is super hard and super fun at the same time.

Well done!

jezzamon 2017-12-14 01:53

Cool idea! But I think it needed some difficulty balancing, and some specific goal to reach. Maybe if there was levels that got progressively harder?

ciderwrath 2017-12-16 01:31

I enjoyed it! Thought the concept was really fun and I love playing through the game. The slow motion bullets was a real nice touch and and the mix of the vases breaking and an army of people chasing me really added a sense of panic of everything going wrong.

If I was to make a suggestion, I'd say maybe put some indicator on the left side that the characters movements reflect onto the vases. Maybe a zoomed in picture of his chest while he's holding the vases, or having the floor also visually move with the vases might help with that. Also would be pretty cool to see more vases pile up onto the character himself as he's running. These are just suggestions though, and the game you all made was fun. Good work!

Nice fun game. Just missed some end game condition.

I liked the idea which is pretty creative. In practice, I thought it quickly became difficult to balance the vases when you have dozens of enemies chasing you at the same time. So I kept running and running but apparently there is no end, and it became a bit repetitive. Anyway it's an original idea that could use some improvements, like progression in the levels, or a different balance system that is more considering of the enemies.
