Clever, non-obvious mechanic that makes for an interesting puzzle game.
Interesting idea but I'm not sure it's working properly. Would potentially make for an interesting puzzle game if sequencing the DNA required the player to look ahead in order to plan; instead, the player is just reacting to the current situation and picking the correct choice out of two available.
Simultaneously elegant and ridiculous!
Really interesting design and I like the non-obvious approach to the two-button theme. The game degenerates a bit once you discover a weakness in your opponent, and the UI is ultra messy, but it's clever and has real personality overall. The time pressure also has an interesting effect where you feel like you have to rush your combos, which can lead to errors if you're not careful.
Pretty much worth it for the theme song alone.
Very good, felt like a somewhat fresh take on the endless arcade game (and not a Flappy Bird clone) so thanks for that! Actually fun to play :)
Really love finding something so personal and thoughtful here.
I feel like I clicked through all the options and only saw 11/15 'endings' - would love to see the idea elaborated on with more possibilities and variety. But the concept is clever and different, and the execution is pretty good.
I like the aesthetic and vibe. Jumping puzzles are a bit thorny due to iffy mechanics (air control would make a big difference) and platforms being non-obvious when climbing the giant lady.
Looks great, and now I'm hungry
Super cool tribute to one of the all-time great adventure games; really nails the mood of the original.
