I liked it. I was expecting death when there were no moves left, and I wished I could see the full shape of a block. The mechanics and how they relate to the story are great, and have greater potential still.

kcpunk666 2013-12-16 02:39

awesome! period or I guess an exclamation.

xaedes 2013-12-16 02:47

Very nice game. Reminded me of anti chamber with all the story^^

dbro 2013-12-16 03:06

Fun game, keep up the good work!

snail_man 2013-12-16 03:07

Nice game. It did make me think, but I don't have a Twitter :P.
Seriously though, nice idea, good execution.

eskivor 2013-12-16 03:18

Interesting. It would be bettet with music & sound ;)

parapup 2013-12-16 03:36

Not to bad aleast you made effort

snoringfrog 2013-12-16 04:03

Very interesting and thought provoking. Although the "you can't play again" message is very easily defeated by refreshing the page. :P

thatguy 2013-12-16 04:09

Interesting way of introducing philosophy in the framework of a game.

kruithne 2013-12-16 04:14

Started playing this game and just lost track of time, really nice.

lucars83 2013-12-16 04:16

Interesting, but I got board around age 40

vanish 2013-12-16 04:18

I liked it, would've been nice to have more of an explanation as to what the blocks did, but I guess that's the point.

zolmeister 2013-12-16 04:18

Inspiring, really great idea and execution.

mcgraw 2013-12-16 04:27

Well, that was neat. Great work here!

funktor 2013-12-16 05:36

very cool game! love to play things like this

torcado194 2013-12-16 06:00

pretty interesting!

kirbytails7 2013-12-16 06:25

Very interesting...A very good cynical Tetris reflection of life.
Agreed that some simple background music would be very helpful.

gamerespect 2013-12-16 09:15

An extremely well put together game. The thoughts and symbolism found inside are absolutely wonderful to experience, and the game mechanics are quite interesting as well. Will not be surprised if this is my favourite LD game I play this time. Awesome job mate.

ossah 2013-12-16 09:55

Cool game! One of the more unique games I have played thus far! Kudos on coming up with something different.
some sound effects/music would definitely have added to the experience but pretty cool none the less.

timkaldor 2013-12-16 10:17

Thanks everybody, glad you liked it. I would have loved to do sound but unfortunately at 4:30am, I was still wracking my brain to come up with cynical commentary, composing beautiful music was the furthest thing from my mind.

xeke_death 2013-12-16 11:40

I did my sound at 4:30 am, so that is no excuse... :P

I crushed the hopes and dreams of a few red circles, but only because I wanted to see if the game said something beyond the first comment...

I must say I was not expecting my life to come crashing down at 18...

shinsh 2013-12-16 12:21

Fun, but I was disappointed that doing one full line would do nothing... The rest of the game is really interesting and it kept me in until the very end.

reicher 2013-12-16 14:12

Really nice game!

weazen 2013-12-16 14:34

Wow. I loved this game. Good job!

gokuhd 2013-12-16 14:49

This is a very creative idea. It made me curious about what would happend at the end of the game and it's very nice :).

jackbid 2013-12-16 15:19

A very interesting idea, I enjoyed it!

lorniebear 2013-12-16 16:39

I like the humour!

zerkruemler 2013-12-16 17:11

Very interesting. First I thought I could learn the rules, but then just enjoyed the 'story'. Nice work and good implementation.

bukt 2013-12-16 17:33

Absolutelly great. It was really great to play, and really hard to reflect ourself.

Thank you, it's brilliant.

mrp123 2013-12-16 17:37

Very interesting concept. That was a lot of fun.

Thank you!

solluxx 2013-12-16 18:33

Cool premise. I was rather confused, I'm still pretty confused. What does it all mean!

sam1373 2013-12-16 18:59

This was amazing!

chris-mondok 2013-12-16 19:00

What an interesting game. I especially like when I was told that it wasn't as easy as it looked, that got a laugh out of me. I'm not entirely sure why I died, though.

Graphics are crisp and clean.

gupta_shvm 2013-12-16 19:11

Very interesting game! Probably the best one I've played the Ludum Dare!

xgeovanni 2013-12-16 19:18

I think there's a deeper, subtler message conveyed in this. Something about twitter.

timkaldor 2013-12-16 19:40

@Chris Mondok - My Answer: death often comes when you least expect it. The truth: it was late, I was tired and I ran out of witty remarks.

@xgeovanni - congratulations, you discovered the metagame.

symmeteer 2013-12-16 19:44

"The secret to happiness is making games." Well said! I had fun.

occash 2013-12-16 19:48

Thanks for fun!

mnemusyne 2013-12-16 22:16

It was unfortunate that I had to click on create/copy every time. 2deep4tetris.

tommakesgames 2013-12-16 22:22

Really enjoyed this one - excellent. Your lack of witty remarks early in the morning was witty in and of itself! You have my twitter patronage also. It made me laugh and think. This is what Ludum Dare games should be like.

croze 2013-12-16 23:04

Nice game, but the mouse was incredibly laggy and made it kind of hard to play, other than that great job!!

ray_mickelino 2013-12-16 23:17

Good Job. It was very philosophical and interesting. I do wish it had some sound, but it's pretty nice anyways.

jupiter_hadley 2013-12-16 23:40

I liked this game, it made me think loads. Great spin on tetras. I included it in my Ludum Dare 28 video compilation series, if you'd like to take a look :) http://youtu.be/sSLhI-W0qCg

garrick 2013-12-17 00:45

lustdante 2013-12-17 02:49

I like the plot twist created by adding gravity. That was truly genius!

danielsnd 2013-12-17 02:50

Very nice, unique version of tetris.

broepi 2013-12-17 13:45

Wow, that was weird. I'm not entirely sure, wath I was doing in my pointless life of colored squares, maybe that's how life really is.

broepi 2013-12-17 13:47

I <3'd your humor, need to copy it!

therrato 2013-12-17 15:51

Nice game, maybe short keys for the buttons would be nice though

ghandhi 2013-12-17 16:37

Well made. It was only hard to me for making religions. Rest was easy.

pixelbear 2013-12-17 17:25

An interesting little game with a nice message. The twist of screwing over the dots you tried to help was neat. Could've done with some atmospheric audio, and at one point I managed to get a 3 piece shape. That's not a tetromino! ;P

ambi 2013-12-17 23:12

Very interesting concept. I guess we all like to be reminded of our own mortality.

pixelulsar 2013-12-18 03:00

Wonderful idea it was fun and intersting, I really liked it.

piat 2013-12-18 12:29

Most certainly the best attempt at a deep game I've seen this jam. Great work, I will say the "create block" felt a bit redundant though.

madflame991 2013-12-18 21:06

You got such a simple idea as tetris and made it into a game about life itself - a job well done!

kunonooni 2013-12-19 02:06

That was the most unique version of tetris I've ever played :)

drludos 2013-12-19 10:58

Awesome game! It made think, so I followed you on Twitter! :)

I really enjoyed how deep it was while remaining entertaining - outstanding entry!

william_edwards 2013-12-19 22:14

Quite an absorbing game, but I never worked out a single thing about how it ticks. With time I just stopped looking at the score and went for pretty patterns.

I really was expecting more of a Conway's Game of Live aspect though.

danielsnd 2013-12-20 04:03

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teqoo9H4T18
Recorded my first impressions of the game :) (Wasn't really in a thinking mood, sorry xD)

drnick 2013-12-20 13:54

The mechanics aren't very clear, but still it's very symbolic. Also, cynicism is the only correct look upon our life as humans.

ointment 2013-12-20 13:59

The secret to happiness is making games.

nightshadow0 2013-12-29 18:55

This is brilliant, i love how you define your own goals while playing. At some point i decided the comfort of copying blocks was better than the challenge of creating them, which is interesting to think about.

cakencode 2014-01-06 18:51

Really interesting game! I love the way the game builds and the story that sort of goes along with it. (Really reminds me of Thomas Was Alone while I was playing :3) Really enjoyed it! Great work!
