Yeah, zombies are definitely cool :)
Brilliant little story, cool atmospehere and minimalistic sound and graphics – I'm loving it! Even frustrating collision detection doesn't irritate too much :)
No audio too, Mac OSX / Chrome.
Anyway the idea of no avatar and simply the light instead seems pretty innovative.
I love the retro look, but an AI would be a nice addition, post-compo maybe?
This is tooo hard man, I believe you can easily make it easier to appeal a larger audience. I didn't manage to complete even the first stage :( One of the main things making it difficult is the fact that opponent's projectiles almost don't differ visually from ours, so when you fire a bunch you actually can't see the important ones flying on you. Anyway I like graphics, how you did the perspective, quite unusual for this genre! :)
Perfect take on the theme, really minimalistic.
Incredibly hard and confusing wall-jumps (so I dropped trying it on the 3rd level), but overall feeling is that you've done a great job creating several levels and tons of graphics! :)
A bit hard to control but minimalistic enough :)
Reminds of Sounds of the Universe cover art :)
Guys, I highly advise you not to drop this little game and make it to the App Store, it'll certainly find it's audience and will earn some bucks for you :)
Brilliant look, guys! Gameplay is quite complex if you don't read instructions like me, but text explains a lot.
Very old-schoolish, I like it. But I didn't get the combat system, can I actually die here? :)
3700! A perfect little game for several minutes, good job.
Very fun! Steve it's great
Cool concept! Liked the idea! I would like to have in the backs of cyberpunk, because the music is very fitting! We would like to note character animation!
It looks and plays just awesome!
A very interesting idea! I'm straight missed the good old modem after your game! Steep concept!
Great music! nice gameplay!
Why is it not working web version! Cool art!
Music is beautiful, the title screen graphics are great, I would like to see the whole game in this style!
Guys smiled in the office today play it! Thank you so much! I think you have got 100 per cent in the subject, nothing more!
A lovely pixel art! Special thanks for beat 'em up! I want to mention it would be ideal if the camera would have been closer!
Nice graphics, but hard gameplay
Nice mechanic!
Great atmosphere as usual :)
Reminded me of Windosil game.
Nice atmosphere! :)
Good job :)
Btw I've managed somehow to fall through the ground in the 3rd or 4th level.
Nice idea! I think it might have been even more fun if those traces weren't disappearing, as a result it would've been looking like Pollock :)
Brilliant
Awesome concept. Please make a full game out from it :)
Awesome. Thanks for this entry.
That's really hard to find such a polished game done within 48 hours. Great job!
I really love so called art games. Thanks for this entry :)
Very cute graphics.
Very hard to control this when using a touchpad, but I like the cat mechanic and the laughter energy :) good thinking!
P.S. Greetings from Omsk Ludum Dare! ;)
Nice start! I like the fact you've placed the music and the story here, because that's what people usually tend to ignore first :)
I really like that jum-on-the-policeman-head mechanic, it feels innovative :)
Sorry, but I don't get what to do here :(
I've approached the eye, then made a couple of steps on the platform and after that the camera zoomed in heavily and I've started moving on giant psychedelic ladder back and forth and... nothing else, I even can't get back into the view – the character walks out of the camera view.
Anyway, shoegaze music's really nice and I like graphics!
Controls are really tough. I suggest it's better to polish controls first in an action game, because awkward controls make almost any game, even the best ones, kind of worse then they actually are :)
The best entry I've played so far.
Pretty nice game, but it takes too long for an interesting part, I think.
Yet I love your style, good job as usual!
Nice idea, I think it might be interesting to play this with touch gestures.
Very hard but that's not a drawback :)
Nice music and graphics indeed.
Cute graphics, but I think an explosion effect for each enemy killed could have made it even better :)
Great idea! Honestly, I didn't succeed uploading that stuff, but I've got a lot of fun trying :)
Brilliant. The most polished entry I've seen so far.
A bit awkward because of controls (which are pretty hard to make cool in platformers, I know), but the music, graphics and atmospehere are perfect :)
Nice one! I've found myself playing all the levels which didn't happen with any other game I've rated yet :)
Nice worlds switching idea! But I personally find accelerating a bit awkward, maybe it's better to make him running at a constant speed? :)
Good job, a really well polished entry, and I like your sense of humor, guys!
P.S. Ha, the title of the game looks a bit similar to ours :)
Wow, had exactly the same idea! :) good job for getting it up and running
Old-school gameplay + neat graphics = perfect combo :) good job
Good job! And very cool bullet holes effect, I like it! :)
Very neat graphics and sound.
I was a bit scared of those running mobs but they actually are harmless, that was a surprise for me :)
Very nice graphics and sound. Especially the background.
Yet it's stuttering on my Mac and eventually crashes after 5-10 seconds of play :(
Awesome ;)
A bit tough to play when using a touchpad, but I liked the story :)
Controls are a bit awkward but the art is brilliant, I love both music and graphics.
Played the Web version. Performance is awful, but the destruction model is pretty nice, liked it.
Nice concept and TRONish graphics. Audio is at the right place too. Altough physics and mechanics are a bit buggy. Hope you'll fix it, I love 3D platformers :)
Good start!
My advice is always to add background music and sounds. SFXR + freemusicarchive should definitely make any game without audio much much more appealing. Even when the sound doesn't match very well )
Wow, really surprising genre choose! Good job!
I don't get what's going on, but it's really fun fun to watch )
Please add some 8bit music!
Very interesting gardening experience, thanks!
Actually I like season changing, that orange autumn background makes me nostalgic :)
Wow! I was actually looking for some kind of an art-game and I've finally found it. Thank you :)
Really fun intro story and pretty art!
Yet I didn't get how to pass the first screen. And how to shoot upwards. I'm on Mac + Google Chrome and Ctrl + Up does nothing.
Anyhow, good job.
Nothing to deal with "Evolution" theme but fun after all!
Reminded me of Quake maps for tricks :)
Nice little game!
Yet sounds are a bit annoying, try making'em not that high-pitched and glitchy next time, please :)
Well done!
Really cute graphics and shrinking mechanic.
Although I'd suggest to make a game a bit more competitive, because for endless game like this it's very important to be tense, otherwise the player becomes bored. But if you challenge him with short sessions — he doesn't.
Really like the synth pad sound. And the color theme.
Yet I didn't succeed much so I doubt whether it's truly evolving later or not, I hope it does! :)
Sorry, but I don't really get how to play it. I've honestly spent about 3 minutes trying to figure it. My suggestion is to give a hint to the player, at least a text one in game or in desctiption.
And another suggestion is to choose more standard controls such as WSAD for example, I didn't succeed in controls with HJKL at all.
Good start! Here're my thoughts:
1. Game of life itself is very beautiful when you watch it evolving and in your game you don't give player a chance to get an overall picture of it. I think a minimap could have been a very good addition both to playability and fun.
2. I think making it a bit faster could have made it more fun. Yet you should make cube destroyable in a smaller amount of time too.
Hope this helps )
Cool, like it! Especially the intro and the genre :)
It appears to me that wave 13 is too hard, because before that I didn't pass anyone and on the 13th wave I've passed about 8-10 of potential Darwin killers...
Was really hoping to see someone else using cocos2d :)
Basically the game is too hard for me. I've played for about two minutes and succeeded hitting those headless men only twice. Maybe making it a bit slower should be a good move.
Hey, really cool game, I'd like to say! One of the best ones from the about 20-30 games I've already tested and rated on this LD.
PS You've left a comment my game was crashing, can you please try it again? I've added a missing dll into archive and now it seems to work! Thanks!
Great job! The first game I really enjoyed while testing all the entries during this Ludum Dare.
Looks really nice, but a bit hard for me. I wasn't capable of passing three dinosaurs on screen at the same time :)

Exocolony by Tange 2013-08-28T07:28:00
Clean mechanic. Relatively clear objectives. Maybe it was just me, but I wasn't sure how to turn off the jet engine.
Otherwise, great game! Fit the theme and was fun!
