HAHA! Great humorous and fast-paced platformer!
I like content creation games. What do you do with the votes and ratings?
I like this entry very much. It has a nice explanation too. Maybe I could have played without it, but it adds context. I like the two modes too.
Excellent! Goes to favourites :) I never needed the whole 10 seconds through, with two or three it was ok.
I love the art style and when everything starts to tremble! I was a bit frustrated trying to control the character through the terrain.
Super ultra great sound FXs and doodle art! Love it.
Very fast platformer! Didn't know that html5 could make that with vector graphics :) I enjoyed mastering the controls, and the in-game instructions.
This one got my attention and deserved more than 5 mins to play. I liked the texts.
I love your graphical design! The game is enjoyable, it has great pace, and the music contributes to that.
Oh wow. The whole concept is awesome. This is a very solid entry!
:)
Very innovative! The selection bug hitted me in the very beginning and got me confused. With that fixed, you have a great game. Great approach to the theme too.
I love GLITCH! I wanted a game like this since I saw the effects in "experiment 12".
Excellent little adventure! Animations are high level :) Took me a bit to understand how to control the game inside the phone, but apart from that I enjoyed it a lot!
Brillantly executed! I love that it persists your personal rating. And the minimalism keeps you focused. Nice style for a minimalistic game, I like the background changing colors. I agree with Fede3751, a great game for touchscreen.
I also liked the saturated colors. Was difficult to discover how to play. Good entry!
I like this kind of games. The pointer was offset of mouse position, that is a bit frustrating. Have you played Super Hexagon? :)
I was tapping/clicking like a stupid until I found that you should "tap/click and drag", also called "swipe". After I found that, it was a pretty funny game.
There is a little bug: sometimes the character falls off the maze :)
Absolutly awesome entry!! Impressive graphics.
Oh lovely sprites, backgrounds and menu design! Music goes well too. I wish there were more levels. The other issues I see were mentioned already. Good job!
The kind of minimalism I like. In two hours really? Impressive!
Loved the ending, and the decision to place the information text in it. Congrats, you made a great game!
There is the narrative device called ellipsis going on here, good to see this in a game!
This game is very polished! I liked the instructions, is good when a game tells you why you died, specially when you are trying it for the first time.
This blue guy is running in the air, I like it :) I couldn't finish the 1st level :(
You came into a nice mood. I hope that mood inspires you to develop a playable game with things to do. Wish you luck!
I loved the style. Would be great to have a more controllable way to feed them, is a bit unpredictable. I couldn't get where was the theme applied.
LOL!! Absolutly awesome entry!! This made my day.
HAHA! How annoying :)
Absolutly awesome solid game!
I like the idea of the rotating world, the style feels consistent. Same collision issues as others.
The URL can't be resolved: http://srjurnack.net/fiveTrials/
Nice space game guys! Captivating music, and great wormhole effect. The shop is a good idea, and made me try again and go for more coins. Switching my hand from keyboard to mouse just for the poweups was a bit problematic. Would be great if you add keystrokes for the powerups. Congrats!
Beautiful simple retro game! Was too easy, but I liked it.
Simple characters are neat :) I would like to see progressive difficulty instead of random placing the guys. But I know we are time constricted in LD48, the same happened to my own game :)
Very fun! Loved the approach you gave to the theme, and the gravity. The controls and key dispositions could be less complicated. But I guess they will be configurable when you release the second version :) Also please make the square shoot keeping the button pressed.
Crazy little game with suicidal theme. I found the controls a bit unresponsive, maybe that is my small computer, maybe is just part of the fun.
Smashing controls :) Fun.
I think the intro will look better without many fade-in fade-out.
I loved the sounds and the intro.. but I'm very bad jumping :(
Nice! This has potential, you just need more levels, as you said in the end screen. The only defying level was the last one. The others was just a matter of figuring out what was the anomaly in the map. Good job!
Nicely made! Ideas can come from everywhere.
Excellent artwork!
Is nice to see another entry with this kind of playback feature. We are in a post-Braid era :)
A classical game well implemented.
Ahh this people from Argentina... :P
Sometimes the dirty area is closed between four crates :) If the room was smaller, might be doable. I like the concept but needs polish.
In only 8 hours?! Nice!
I like the platform with a destructable terrain! The 10 seconds theme is a bit forced.
The mirror works, the other URL gave me a corrupted file.
The authentic goat controls were great :) I wished the poo was useful to attack your enemies. Or it is and I didn't figure out how to use it?
Was nice once I understood what to do. Hung for me as well in the second level (red room). Also Chrome.
The violence in this one is a bit unnecesary.. Maybe if you had handled it with more irony or sarcasm, that would be ok for me. That being said, I enjoyed playing it a lot.Is a great approach to the usual 2d physics game. Sound worked very well too. Good job!
Great game, give us more levels please! I like the vintage looking combined with the modern controls (tap buttons in a touchscreen).
Innovative :) I missed a more understanding of what was going on during the robots competitions.
Very fun and great humorous graphics!
Great on-drougs feeling in the graphics and music. Was very frustrating after many retries. Level 1 should be easier :)
Aha! Innovative way to use the 10 secs with the bubble. Congrats. It's well polished too.
:)
I like the adventure scenes in between stealing cars. Is a nice combination.
On linux I get some black squares for the enemies, maybe there are missing graphics? I like the multiplane camera. Keep polishing it!
Hehe, nice! I like that you can finish it with some undiscovered tools "?", makes you come back for more!
I like the idea of guards! I would like to see more levels.
I couldn't win in many attempts. But I can see that is a good simple idea. Just needs polish.
I like that is all made out of symbols. Dragging didn't seem to work for me, or maybe is the missing visual feedback that srimech said.
Oh! Super cute and very polished! I love the game based on restrictions. Here are a few ideas, feel free to discard them :)
1. make the restriction apply only after one or two seconds the letter is presented to the player. While playing for the first time, I was running left and when the "don't run left" letter appeared, I lost a life.
2. add icons to the letters, and place them in the screen (maybe as a row at the top edge?). So the information is always available. At one point I was so concentrated double-jumping that I couldn't read the letter.
I could pay for this game :)
Congrats to the whole team, you came with a very solid game!
I liked how the background change color to give you feedback of the time passed. And the tech feeling of the outside of the maze, simple and effective.
Small screen here, the game window doesn't fit :/
Using tones of gray for all the sprites is nice, it looks charming.
I hope you continue this. It is hard, really pushed me to master the controls.
Hehe, nice! I loved digging the terrain, and the way you showed if it is daytime or not through small windows. The background transition was a bit overkill for my small netbook. Good game!
Keep going! You can do a lot of things with this basic concept. The controls felt a bit stuck here.
Nice space shooter :) Everything was OK. I couldn't advance many floats, but I will definetely come back to this.
Super cute! What a tiring life this guy has. I loved the tempo introduced by the simple notes.
Once, the bad guy catched me because I was standing in the same place he appeared, when the day turned night.
Also once, I saw a wisp placed over the numbers at the top right corner, occluding them.
One of my favs!
Sometimes someone does a game with great mood. I love the rarefaction and the ironic tips.
This is very fun! I like the concept a lot, and the palette of colors is very well selected.
Is loading for me. Just a bit slow.
I like the game mechanic. Using a trackpad feels very odd, so a mouse might be better.
Haha, you should win if you pee in the bathroom, even if outside the toilet :P I love the J concentrate key :)
The speed of this game doesn't work well with the controls, the sloth gets very difficult to control and dying on the first thing that appears is frustrating. I like the irregular floor.
Ohh, awesome! Changing the path of the drone panning and doing click-drag is great. The time concept is very solid, everything is so precise. You have a great engine under this.
Tried to reload the page several times but didn't work. You should provide a downloadable zip file.
With mouse is frustrating, but with touch I imagine it must be great! Please port to android :)
Nice simple game. Tap to restart was a bit awkward to me, after the time ended. I was expecting an automatic restat.
Good, simple game. I like how the packages try to fit and squash.
Wow, this one really stands up, and got me sculpting for quite some time. Good job!
Like Crazi456 said, very original to have drawing integrated in a game, like in this!
Nice card game! I like the doodle graphics.
Hey immanuela, you can do small bugfixing after submission, is allowed in the rules.
Being the time left an important thing, I found it a bit hidden in the sidebar.
This is a start. For the next step, I recommend you to check http://frotz.sourceforge.net/ . Also next time please add the game file as a clickable link in your entry. I welcome more interactive fiction in upcoming LDs!
Spectacular visuals. My netbook doesn't handle the game very well, so I got very few fps. I couldn't see where was the theme applied. Hope to try it again in a better computer.
At first it seemed simple, but soon things started to get complicated! Good job!
Couldn't play it, The traceback is pasted below, it can't find an ubuntu related font. I think you should add fallback to use another font. I hope this is useful to you.

MrRoboman: oh there was a bug and touch was disabled, pushed a one line bugfix. Please try again, and thanks for the report! lurkingshadow, Brian Stegmann: now it can be tested in a mobile :)
davidwparker: you found it! Another odd bug fixed changing one line (which is within the rules).
nathanhoffer, Shmarah, Solifuge, dekart, thanks!
Antidote, nthird: thanks a lot for the feedback on the transition. Indeed I wanted to add smaller leaves passing (they can be seen in the photography) to indicate the direction of the wind. I wanted the wind to be the real protagonist, so I I'll add sounds and music in a post-compo version.
Thanks everyone! There are many great games out there, I am very happy to be part of this.
Thanks a lot everyone for trying my entry and for the insightful comments!! I'm so happy with the rates I got for a first LD!!
It is clear now to me that I will have to do something with music and sound next time. Although audio is not my land, there are many options to consider (specially for jam).
By the way I'm pleased that I didn't just thrown away some random music over it at the last minute. The overall rhythm is important to me, I have things bouncing and moving in loops, so the tempo of the music has to match those, or it will be perceived as wrong. Next time maybe I start with a music track :)
THANKS!
I laughed a lot when I blew the other character's hat. Great game.
I love interactive fiction, and making it all with clips of sound is a very original idea!
Simple curious game. Please let us bypass the first levels, specially the 50 clicks one :)
Awesome generative game! Only critic is that, instead of providing tips, it would be better to provide visual feedback for the hitting areas and a small animation when a new germ i born. Very original!
moonmagic comment said it all :) I will just add that it would be great continous advance by holding the keys pressed.
Hey nthird,
any reason to not uploading this to someplace in the Internet, instead of asking for a download? That way you will get more people playing.
In linux it gives error because the filenames are case sensitive:
Failed to load resource file:///home/manuq/Descargas/LD27/Zombie%20Pop%20HTML/basicsmall.PNG
nthird don't worry about linux, web works fine.
First I thought: "I want to see zombies being inflated! I hope this guy adds some graphics!" But then the puzzle made me think, maybe is better to keep it abstract enough. Good one!
Very tasty! I like the style and the recorded voice.
Nice for a first try! In linux it runs fast until the "play again" screen, which is too slow and I have to kill the game.
HAHA! Very fun. It would be great if the intro is displayed only once. I know there is the skip button, but doesn't suffice to me.
Yeah dook, play button was hard to click for me as well.
This one is a joy to play.
Simple and relaxing :)
Love it.
Great to know that you had fun doing this! Surely it has to be a lot of fun and as a developer it tempts me to try.
loxo same here.
I like the concept, its fun! I would like it to be more predictable so the gamer could master it. The text in the end screen could be better: "you were in range for X seconds".. is X good or bad? Maybe add different phrases according to the seconds, like "not bad!".
I win. Unfortunatly I'm not knowing why I'm winning, I just move the mouse around the ninja. A bit of visual feedback would be great, like a color change when I'm hitting her/him. Is that a bot or a human on the other side? I'll dig into craftstudio website, the homepage looks nice.
Nice music game :) It requires familiarity with the songs, but I think original music composed considering the game mechanic can work even better.
Hehe, great intro scene! Great economy in the graphics, and fantastic humor. The game is fine but the intro ate it :)
Can you put the JAR to download? I tried running the one at http://kramin42.github.io/10_seconds_of_thrust/10_seconds_of_thrust.jar but gives "no main manifest attribute, in 10_seconds_of_thrust.jar"
I love this interactive fiction. I wish you continue doing things like this :)
Wow! I'm impressed! This game put me in situation since the very beginning, with the zoom-out to the menu. I love those menus! After that, I knew that I was going ahead a great adventure.
The game is fun, and the details in the prop objects and in the textures is awesome.
Impressive! I'm puzzled :) Fits very well with the 10 seconds theme.
This game is so well designed!
I like the idea of a run-away game with this controls and this point of view. You should fix the bug that lets the monster and the player going through the walls.
Oh wow! The music and the voice really puts the player in mood. Excellent ascii dungeon!
Very fun! The retry screen could be faster, maybe just pressing space? Great job!
Oh wow, very original! HTML technology is bringing back text-based games, in a renewed form! I like layout of the elements on screen. Hope to see more.
The concept looks nice. As others said, it runs poorly for the basic shapes displayed. Blame construct 2 for this, you could go for a simpler tool like CreateJS.
I loved the spoken intro.
The smooth movement of the character is great. Also the laser effect. And was very fun when I reached the bottom.
This is really challenging! You do excelent sprite artwork. The intro was fun.
A good amount of absurdity in this game! The controls are great. I like text inside the world. Awesome entry.
Haha! Great controls!
I like the humor in this puzzle :)
I like the transition. The controls look good but for shooting I have to keep pressed the arrow keys for a bit.
Nice! I die all the time. Then I realized that it was the crosshair offset that hitted others too. Another CreateJS user here, for my own game :)
We need an FX category. You'll get 5/5 in it :) I loved the transitions and the mood. As a critic, it gets repetitive.
Great sprites! I laughed the first time I saw the character from behind, cute backpack :) The die effect is great too.
The 3 keys limit hitted me in the 5th round :/ I like simple games.
This has potential! Have you played Galaxy Trucker board game? For a while I was thinking what kind of mechanic could have a port to videogame. That is, without replicating a board game. I would love to see this evolve to a complete game with all the features you mention :)
Excellent! Reminds me to some board games that have this setup-play mechanic. I was looking for something like this.
This game shows how innovative mechanics can be discovered by just tweaking the conventional ones. You found a great inbetween platform and puzzle. Your pixelart in the characters is great too!
The upgrades were fantastic. Well planned!
I like these minimal minigames, specially after the screen split!
Sometimes the car gets stuck. It could have more acceleration. You know how we perform in the supermarket when we are in a hurry :) And could bounce when it hits something, maybe throwing away products :P I encourage you to polish the controls to make the user experience more believable. Hitting other people was fun :)
Innovative use of a 2d physics engine!
Way too difficult. I like challenging games but maybe you could reduce the frustration by: 1. auto-restarting 2. adding checkpoints between the start and the end point.
Nice game, well executed :)
Nice puzzle, thanks for the android version!
This game mechanic has potential!
As Zephyr89 said, you better check in the code the walls that are impossible to jump. Worked fine on android.
Oh I see you fixed it for web. Great!
The character is great! He depicts the simplicity of the whole game. I also liked the music and the level transition effect. The timer feels a bit too long, 10 seconds waiting for the door to open can make a casual player leave the game. I was switching tabs to look for more games in those 10 seconds.
Pitzik4, I love this game! My first idea for this LD was very similar: use the concept of filmmaking montage and play different situations of a same "movie", not necessarly in chronological order. I discarded it because seemed too complicated. Glad you did something like this! I can't wait for the game rewrite.
No luck running this one:
