Great mood and audio! I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do though, and sometimes the zombies would go right through the fences/walls!

Very cool! I love games like this. As others mention it would be nice if there was a way to guide yourself through the game intuitively instead of looking at your guide.
Doesn't seem to be working for me, using chrome.
I see this message after pressing enter:
initialize warp
warp coil malfunction
sentient creep malform%%#
breach imminent
batton airhatch
reverse rotocoil
jettison humans
set us up the bomb
dowlink eng{#`%${%&`+'${`%&NO CARRIER
Funny sounds and graphics! Nicely tuned difficulty, it took a bunch of tries but I still won before getting frustrated :)
I'm having an issue running this, I start the exe and I can see DwarfWars running in process manager, but there's no window. On win7, any ideas?
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Yes, I'm sure this isn't a new concept, but it seemed to suit the theme and I had fun implementing it and making the puzzles.
I agree that sometimes waiting on the buttons in the earlier levels can be a drag, if I could edit it I would probably add a button to jump the timer to zero. It's only a few seconds though :)
Level 10 is indeed super-tough, I wanted it to be the ultimate challenge. It still takes me a couple of tries to execute it correctly even though I know what to do :)
