@Xeke_Death: Yeah, we'll get around to that after the deadline (polishing)

@hissssssssss: What about the text box? On which screen? What Device, OS, and browser did you use? And thanks C:
Yeah, it's MOST LIKELY because of your VERY outdated version of Firefox (I tested it on v17.0.1). I won't be able to support older browsers since they lack most of the new features in HTML5 technology to date. Thanks for telling us your problem btw!
We'll be releasing an executable version after the polish!
VERY well made, entertaining gameplay. I'd probably buy a game like this in the stores....if they still sold GBA games xD
Thank you all for your feedback! We will likely continue development of the game...after we fully recover from the 72 hours! We're aware of the problems with the scores and game partially not loading, and we're working with our SQL hosting to resolve them (high scores DB is having issues). If you are unable to load the game, just try again later.
@MaxSzlagor: Actually, I do plan on making a full version so expect cool chiptune music and better retro sfx!
@mrexcessive: Maybe I could make every keys/button 1 control so switching will be faster. Render stats? You mean debug? If so, I'm glad you found it C:
@TehSkull: Really? I should play that game and compare it. Never heard of it before.
@Brookman32k: Yeah, I didn't put much time into difficulty curse because I spent even more time on weird pattern algorithms. And the mysql server is down atm. Planning to switch hosts. AGAIN. if the next one fails, i'm going to host it on my own.
A very touching story, a surprisingly well made game for what it is.
It was a bit slow and I don't know what my goal is.. so I just spread stuff everywhere.
It's like a jewels version of the Rubik cube
That was very fun. I'm just a huge fan of DrawSomething and stuff like that. Very good concept
I've seen some other games where they add more enemies after 10 seconds but it wasn't a bad shoot 'em up game.
That was an interesting concept.
I just dragged the files onto MY dropbox and I went to the public link and it works fine. Did you put the files in the PUBLIC folder? Did you put the files together in dropbox? I don't see what you can do to make it not work.
This was actually pretty fun. Even though the puzzle idea is very basic but it makes it challenging that there is a timer. unlike other common puzzle games. I can see this game taking off on the iOS/Android market.
The game window was too big to fit on any of my web browsers. I tried to play 10 times and I couldn't get to eat any. Other than that, great graphics and soundeffects.
You should definitely port this to android because the game would've been better as a touchscreen game! I like the game idea but there could've been much more added to it to make it more fun.
There was a lot of collision problems. I fell through the floor and wall. It was pretty frustrating to deal with those but otherwise it was a decent 10 second platformer game.
I really miss drawing and animating on flash. Flash will always have better animation compared to HTML5. This reminded me of that flash game with the same atmosphere and the style is almost the same.
@KevinAlbs:
Thanks!
@Anoarith:
No, there isn't a bug in lvl 6. I just need to put a hint in there.
I just accidentally left something in that is basically a Pseudocode.
@joekinglake:
Thanks! I love the YT channel too. Yeah, I accidentally left something that is basically a Pseudocode in the game.
@theholychicken:
If you read the notes at the top, you'll see. Basically, I didn't have the time :(
@Diogo Muller:
It's possible. Hint: Push the buttons in the right order
@dalbinblue:
Yeah, that's the point. Stupid fun. And what do you mean by move? A better fully grown version?
@kivifreak:
Yeah, I know. I was planning on it (working on it as we speak)
@darkshadow:
If you look at howtobasic's youtube videos. You will find out why the game doesn't make any sense.
The music was fine but the voice acting could've been better but overall, the game was pretty good. After a while there is just too many of them and they just kill themself with fireballs. thought that was pretty funny.
The "music" got kinda annoying after a while. Funny thing is, my friend also got this idea.
It's a nice way to use the theme as the amount of air you have left.
That was VERY interesting. I just love the idea of how you have to balance the light or else it'll be too light or too dark. And I just find the questions and answers very humorous
I was confused at the beginning because I didn't know where the character was. And I also didn't know how to jump. It's an interesting concept but it could've been better.
Don't use PNG's for textures like those. JPG is a better format for those kind of pictures.
It's not a horrible idea but maybe there could've been a way to skip the few seconds because the pace is a bit too slow. There was also no music playing when there should be music playing?
That was pretty interesting. Maybe you should've added something like a metronome because it was way too easy
To be honest, I would rather play this game without the music. If you don't have good music for your game, don't try to make up for it with random notes. Other than that, sfx was not bad.
Enjoyed playing this. The mechanic was a bit too easy imo but still a great concept for the theme!
It's a nice idea but the controls were confusing at first. I didn't know what's going on either.
Other than those, the art was pretty good.
The room with 2 doors were confusing because they both said it was wrong. I had to click on one door a few times and it let me in. I didn't get the puzzle there. lol.
Some levels were hard to pass without the glitches in the game helping you boost the speed and fly high up in the air. The collision was pretty weird and the last level was extremely awkward because you can't look in another direction.
The music was interesting. The concept was also nicely done. It was hard though because I would always end up with the wrong pieces.
I liked the idea but it's lacking a lot of things. But great concept and maybe you can post a finished version if you get around to it
Wow, this is a very good concept. Does using a drawing tablet count as cheating? ;)
I thought it was too easy. Maybe adding obstacles would've been nice. But it's just simply nice.
I couldn't play a level for some reason. I just push load and nothing. The .xml files are in the same folder and I'm using flash player 10 to play the game. The web version won't load, I think 000webhost is having issues with your page.
THANK GOODNESS. Finally! Someone who put the game files in a folder in a zip file! Makes it easier for us to drag the file out to the ludum dare 27 game folder :DDD
Not sure if the game being fast is normal or not. It just doesn't feel right for some reason. imo, it should be 50% slower. The level design was also a nice touch, you sure did fit a lot into those 3 days.
That was pretty good. Took me a few seconds to get used to the controls but it was still fun.
I liked the soundtrack, it fit in nicely for a space related game. The FPS is a bit low for some reason. It could just be the web version. I also noticed the 10 seconds was the refresh rate for the mini-map. it was an interesting concept.
I thought this one was great. but I couldn't figure out how to reload. I also liked how the game was "2D" styled but it was actually 3D. I thought it was hilarious when the player is a box with a body drawn on all the sides.
@Ret44:
Ah derp. Oh, and another thing. Was this game inspired by the movie Crank? Just asking because the concept of the game was similar to the movie.
Saw another concept of this. The other one was web based though.
The game mechanics is pretty good. Took me a minute to figure out the controls though (and I also found the debug button :D)
Yeah, the controls are broken. I can get less than 10 seconds if you just hold left or right.
haha, the fun facts for the seconds survived and amount killed is a very nice touch.
Spent 10 minutes on it. scored 10,000. Pretty good concept but the maze generation could be better. It wasn't possible to get any bits in some "sessions"
It just felt like the player need more velocity because it's just sailing around way too smoothly. And the game just jumps straight into the game without a title sequence or anything which just kinda surprised me because it made me panic "Huh whut already what do I do?"
Took me a while to get used to playing the game. It's like trying to animate the players/ball blindly around the field. Managed to beat all the scenarios but I did have to restart the game a few times because of a random error I can't reproduce (should've added logs)
Noticed some major bugs that appeared out of nowhere after I made some final changes before the deadline.
I like the idea of the game, I did find a few bugs one being if you go under the second elevator after you take control of the guard you get pushed out of the map. Overall nice job but I wish the camera would have move a little bit faster as it seemed choppy once you started moving.
Funny that we have the same concept. The only difference is that this one doesn't resize on it's own and you have to move it manually which made it harder to play. And dickbutt.
Loved the artwork in this one! And great voice acting xD
I didn't test this game on any computers besides mine. the game is supposed to center the player at the middle of the monitor.
I have a 1920x1200 resolution so it worked fine with me when I was testing the game. I only had around 8 hours to make this game. I'll make the bug fixes for the smaller monitors.
I'll make a mode where it'll make the game full size but it'll black out the rest. It'll give the same effect of moving the window around though.
