LD27 — 10 Seconds

Train Robbery by phaze0 2013-09-01T07:07:00

I might just be too sleepy but I can't figure out how to get this to run. Looks great though I really want to play!

SwapArcade by [-BipolarDesign+] 2013-08-26T22:52:00

Neat little concept, the music wasn't THAT bad really hahahaha.

Entropy by TwilightFlandre 2013-08-26T03:36:00

Soundtrack was moving, quite lovely. I enjoyed the graphics, my kind of simple. Awesome concept with the light and the way you unlocked the characters abilities.

Ten Second Samurai by Mclogenog 2013-08-26T05:12:00

That was tough! I didn't like how quickly I died, no room for error there. But otherwise a neat little game.

Pull the Wire by JokerDen 2013-08-26T06:48:00

Well done, executed perfectly. I had a lot of fun playing.

Jack is gonna Die! by psychomonster 2013-08-26T22:57:00

Was a bit tough, the lack of the timer complicated things, I kept getting stuck in walls and had a lot of trouble jumping to clear obstacles. The whole "you instantly die" when touching the drips from the ceiling confused me at first, I though I must have missed a pill or something as I never even saw the drips that were killing me! Not a bad game overall, would be cool to see the concept expanded on.

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T04:44:00

Super tough, the music was a bit rough on the old earholes!

Test Chambers by 0xc0dec 2013-08-26T01:39:00

haha love the music, great job for a first soundtrack. I agree with the other comments, it was a bit of fun but some more depth would have been great. All in all though I thought this was a fantastic submission.

Audenary by Andrio 2013-08-26T04:49:00

AMAZING. Absolutely amazing, I love it.
I found myself clicking away in the downward sections to keep the tune going. This is beautiful.

Audenary by Andrio 2013-08-26T06:41:00

I keep coming back to this game and playing it over and over. CAN I HAVE THE SOUND TRACK PLEAAAASE
I really enjoyed this game, A lot.

gl10s by ivo 2013-08-26T03:41:00

neat concept, the initial stages are intriguing. The red flashing stage at the end, my eyes did not enjoy this.

Ten Seconds of Thrust by flarb 2013-08-26T03:57:00

I can't get the bloody unity web player to install grrrr I really want to play and rate this one. Sorry! :(

Sixth of a Minute by Tork 2013-08-26T04:36:00

This was good fun, as others have said, very smooth. The timer in the background of the whole level was a good idea. I've been playing too many other games with different controls though so this one was tough for me to adjust to. Instantly taking all my health at once was a bit harsh, I think there should be a small "invincibility" window after you take damage.

Under Water by Orava 2013-08-26T05:26:00

Pleasing visually though gameplay I struggled with, I couldn't make / use air pockets the ceiling seemed too far away, couldn't really figure out a goal.

Delta Dodge by ranf 2013-08-26T04:23:00

Great concept, wonderfully executed. The graphics were adorable and the audio was perfect - extremely nostalgic. Took me right back. Loved it!

Five By Five by cy4n 2013-08-26T04:39:00

Loved the graphics, I found this very challenging though, which for me is both frustrating and motivating at the same time. Very nifty little game.

Ahh! It's Chasing Me! by Zknet 2013-08-26T03:48:00

Great concept, maybe a little tooooo dark, but it was very creepy and atmospheric. I ran around lost for a while before giving up.

10 Second Planet Destroyer by Latency 2013-08-26T05:09:00

Neat little game, I don't get what the rockets were for though. Understanding upgrades was a bit tough.

Erfingi by olafurw 2013-08-28T00:46:00

That was fun, I like the concept and I'd love to see it expanded on with some more depth and graphics etc. As much as I understand the time limit on choosing your heir, it really goes against my style of play so I found myself getting flustered with the choices. There were many moments when I simply ran out of time and ended up with a terrible mutation!

Particle Fighter by Tym0r 2013-08-28T00:36:00

Bouncing off the walls seemed to exponentially increase my speed, which made this almost impossible to play. Neat concept but I found it too hard to control my ship at all. (played in the web version under waterfox, which may explain the bug I experienced)

Dead End Corner 10 second Wave Evolving Zombie Games by mirzasan 2013-08-26T04:03:00

Very hard, but good fun, I couldn't get very far though so I didn't get to explore the other weapons.

Save the forest! by everblind 2013-08-26T03:27:00

Hah! This had me in stitches, loved it! Nice and simple and to the point, I got to level 5. Those chipmunks are tough!

10-Second Shadow Block-Dude! by bhopkins 2013-08-26T04:28:00

Hahaha loved it, these types of games are my favourite. Nice touch on having the "clones" appear dumber with each iteration. I ran into some game breaking bugs though which seemed to the clones recorded actions bug out.

Timeline by Lancey 2013-08-26T05:18:00

This is very clever! well done, bravo. Took me a while to truly master the timeline, but when I got there this was a lot of fun.

Six Beats Per Minute by Tortche 2013-08-26T05:33:00

I didn't quite understand the point in the heart beating and the audio for it was a bit rough on my ears, Visually stunning I loved your graphics, however the audio didnt match at all. Movement was a bit strange.

Hack It All! by noom 2013-08-26T04:30:00

Yeah the "Hack the world" level was really tough, I didn't realize until after submission was over. You *CAN* beat it though, I promise!

Hack It All! by noom 2013-08-26T05:49:00

It was definitely inspired by Deux Ex HR. And Level design isn't my strong point, something I need to work on, I did want it to be more of a puzzle than a twitch game but ran out of time in the end to tweak the engine and make better levels. The difference between the quantum computer and the printer is slowing the ingame clock (printer) and slowing the entire game (quantum). The latter allowing you to squeeze more clicks into a second, the former just allotting you more time. Thanks for the comments guys!

Streets of Rift by wkerslake 2013-08-26T05:21:00

Wish I had a rift D:
Was fun enough without one though.

Cubic Run by SpiralCodeStudio 2013-08-26T05:02:00

I liked this a lot, very clever. Didn't really like needing to install the simulator to run it but it wasn't that bad in the end. The abilities were a great touch. Lots of fun!

Bob Loblaw's Blob War by Budda 2013-08-26T04:17:00

Arg! so tough! Neat little game, I like the concept, I just suck at it hahaha.

Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns by matthias_zarzecki 2013-08-26T03:54:00

Good bit of fun. LET ME SAVE THEM!

Anachroma by vandriver 2013-08-26T22:46:00

Tough little game but I love the concept. Well done, I'd love to see this idea expanded on.

ReTurtle by Metatheos 2013-08-26T22:48:00

awwww I can't get the unity web player to work so I cant test this, looks so fun.

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Please Come Back by PapyPilgrim 2014-04-30T06:05:00

It's ok, I wanted those feels anyway.
*wipes a tear away quickly*
I found this terribly depressing, it's a very well made game and I'm honestly moved after playing it, well done.

Beneath the surface with Sir Walter Wuffington by Larzan 2014-04-30T03:01:00

I really love the mechanics and your concept, moving between top down and side on was a great idea, I'd love to see some polish on this game I think it has a lot of potential.

Project Tethys by vilya 2014-05-01T01:01:00

Neat little game, I liked the graphics albeit their simplicity and I thought the audio was great. Would have liked to see more in the way of upgrades or something to that effect to break up the monotony of click-spamming and give more reason to continue playing.

It Came from Beneath the Surface: Wormgun by BoneDaddy 2014-05-13T02:14:00

I played way too much of this, amazing concept, loads of fun, very innovative. Some minor bugs in the physics but aside from that I thought this was perfect. Wonderful entry!

Metal Beneath Skin by CMaster 2014-05-13T02:19:00

Took me a while before I could spot my avatar, neat concept, I really didn't enjoy the sound effects, a lot of the poke audio sounded like you recorded them in a hurricane (breathing directly into the mic) and the megaphone sound basically deafened me.

Cave Beneath The Surface by davidllanos22 2014-05-13T02:21:00

Looks like your webserver is down.

Lim by Rabbits... 2014-04-30T06:09:00

So depressing, lovely poetry though, nice work.

Tentacle Potato Defence by NeiloGD 2014-04-28T04:28:00

Giving you 5 stars for audio because your SFX were amazing. I found this game tough and frustrating and I apparantly suck at resource management. But it was a great entry nonetheless!

Lost Villages by GAFBlizzard 2014-04-28T03:41:00

I really liked the concept and the mechanics, but it was missing a challenge, there was nothing stopping me digging every tile, I wasn't racing a clock, or trying to avoid anything, I could just dig dig dig and finish the level. Aside from that though, I thought this had a lot of potential.

Hiya Haystack by commanderstitch 2014-05-03T02:21:00

hahaahah pretty funny, the audio was a bit grating and it took me far too long to figure out that the game had actually started and that I was the hay O.O

Inside Look Activity Book by rylgh 2014-04-30T03:54:00

I thought this was going to be pleasant and almost like a children's story book. I feel very uncomfortable right now.

Hide Them by Yacodo 2014-05-04T01:27:00

Pretty cool, loved the music!

Ant Slaves by Kotucz 2014-05-04T01:31:00

Cool, got a bit too bright with too many ants in the one place. Nice graphics and innovative concept on controls.

FedIt! by zedutchgandalf 2014-05-03T01:55:00

Tough!

Through Shadows by sockfolder 2014-04-30T06:34:00

I liked this, while your graphics were very simple I appreciate how difficult 3d modelling is and was impressed.

THE SKIES ARE A FALLIN' by glbs 2014-05-03T01:29:00

Very neat concept

Rats Under My Skin by Gregory Avery-Weir 2014-05-14T03:30:00

I was a kitty, I was cute as hell. Great concept, loved the wall leaping and the idea behind unlocking new parts of the level.

Wriggle Worm by gikdew 2014-04-30T03:38:00

The graphics were nice and clean and the gameplay/mechanics were very solid. movement is smooth and enjoyable. I liked being a worm.

Gubble Quest by Somfunambulist 2014-05-03T01:44:00

Gubble is adorable!

Space Driller by Mr. Jif 2014-04-30T06:40:00

This was a great entry you guys did really well with this one. I immediately experienced nostalgia and it reminded me intensely of my childhood playing games the ilk of Duke Nukem1/2 etc. Captured the mood perfectly, the music was fantastic, the art was brilliant and the gameplay was the icing on the cake. The feeling I had when I upgraded my drill and went and stuck it to those ghosty bastards was awesome. Great job guys!

Deep Dome by pansapiens 2014-04-30T03:26:00

Loved the filter / gprahics style, was great. Also the gameplay was a lot of fun, I loved the combination of flying / racing / shooting and having WASD to fly while aiming with the mouse was great. My type of game! (made me think of starfox on the n64)

Upper Crust by dylanwolf 2014-05-14T03:34:00

Very neat game, loved the concept of switching above and below ground, loved the music, loved your art style. Nice work!

Totems & Gods by vladimirdlc 2014-05-03T02:33:00

Really nice work, the graphics were fantastic, and the music was amazing. The sound effects though, were creepy as heck. Beautiful entry!

Life story by gmaker 2014-05-03T02:16:00

Couldn't play past the water (overwhelming fear of water levels). But I really liked what I saw up until then.

Baconizers: Into The Abyss by berryhermans 2014-05-03T02:38:00

Loved the graphics and most of all the audio, the way the music faded as you went deeper was really cool!

Above and Beyond by Yozz 2014-04-30T04:59:00

I was a little confused as to what the goal was at first but I got the hang of it, I felt though a little bored as the match progressed it didn't really get more difficult and I felt it wasn't going anywhere. It was a nice concept though, I could see something like this being used in a children's game to help educate them about conditions such as depression.

Bellhook by Colorvade 2014-04-28T04:15:00

I have no idea what a bell hook is. I was intruiged by this game though and I did have a bit of fun figuring out what to do. Your art style was wonderful, very well made assets. I ran into a bug after my third catch though, everything stopped spawning.

Mine Story by donan 2014-04-30T05:33:00

I really enjoyed this game, the concept was sound. I loved the upgrade system the most, second best to the sound track. I was very impressed with your audio.

Journey to the Center of the Hole by dcolgan 2014-05-04T01:19:00

omg that was so fricking scary. Audio was awesome, SFX were also great, the way the monster sounded louder as he got closer added to the atmosphere (and adrenaline). Fantastic game, great work, bravo!

AHH LAVA! by Dreii 2014-05-03T02:02:00

web version appears to be down, sad because this looks fun! :(

Beneath Wireframe by Manuel Magalhães 2014-04-30T03:04:00

This game was TOUUUUUGH! It took me a while to figure out what I was doing, and even after that I found it very hard. This is a great little concept though and I think with some polish on it you could actually market it.

Down the snail hole by oxysoft 2014-05-04T01:25:00

Very cool, was a good bit of fun. Some criticism - the SFX were a bit intense and I had to turn my headphones down. The controls seemed slightly bugged where each time I dug I had to reselect all my ants. And I had snails on the last level just run off into the terrain where I couldnt reach them.
I love love LOVE the music though, very nice. That and your graphics are really neat. This is a great entry!

Beneath The Lab by Techblogogy 2014-05-03T02:01:00

Graphics were pretty cool though I wasn't impressed with the portal-esque style narrator. Couldn't quite get my head around the concept though and couldn't advance very far through the levels. I think with a bit more time put into explaining the mechanics and perhaps a bit of polish this could be a decent game.
Good work!

punk n roll by grozamorei 2014-04-30T06:43:00

Loved the graphics and audio, great feel! The controls were extremely unwieldy, I couldnt aim and use my tongue at the same time, i'd suggest using the mouse or something like that in future. I'd love to see this one finished, its a great tribute to a great classic.

FFFLOWWW by cbear_wallis 2014-04-30T03:30:00

Very neat experiment! I liked it :)

Troubles beneath the surface by archaeometrician 2014-05-03T02:06:00

dat sonar ping! ouch! I found the controls a bit unwieldy, felt like I went upwards quite slow, ended up dying from lack of oxygen pretty early on. The music was pretty decent though and I thought the graphics were neat (albeit simplistic)

Sink or Swim by noom 2014-04-30T13:01:00

Wow thanks for all the positive comments guys it's really nice hearing all of this. I really appreciate all of you taking the time to play/rate and then comment.
eastes : in my timelapse (which i've just added to the description) you can see the fish grow beyond the bounds of the game, it's pretty funny - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuN3Vtqfm6E

Bionic Hotdog by Daniel X. Moore 2014-04-30T03:15:00

uhmmmmmmm

Shady has to eat by anvoz 2014-05-03T02:24:00

Pretty neat, I liked how I could use the clouds to avoid sunburn.

Beneath your feet by Druid 2014-04-30T03:12:00

Creepy. As. Heck.

Treasure Hunter by holgk 2014-05-03T02:12:00

Nice work on this you did well to make something like this within the time constraints, had fun playing it too.

MBTS by skymarionsky 2014-04-30T06:27:00

Found this game really hard, little ghosty bastards have good eyes!

Mole Position by Glint Games 2014-05-03T02:18:00

That mole is so freaking cute hahaha. Nice work, simple and solid.

The Creature Beneath by Otrora Games 2014-04-30T05:54:00

Nice graphical style, the music was lovely too. The first puzzle was a little tough, and the avatar moved gratingly slow. And as has been said, starting over on death was a kick in the pants.

Shanghai by Warboys 2014-04-30T06:25:00

At first I was terribly confused about what was going on an how to play this game, but I stuck to it and eventually figured it out and found myself playing over and over, I wasted a good 30 minutes on this one. The gameplay is great, once you figure it out. I think my favorite part though was the sound track, really cool! Made me think of the 40's and that's awesome.

Atomicle - LostAutumn.net by AutumnGuy 2014-04-28T04:32:00

Solid and simple mechanics and concept, executed wonderfully. Its visual style and audio was fantastic. A very well produced game, without even considering it was completed within 48 hours. Bravo sir!

Planet Scan-it by Flopster 2014-04-28T06:14:00

I told you already on IRC how jealous I am of this, you somehow telepathically stole a concept that I've been toying with over the last few months and executed it perfectly. The scaling of objects, the structure of the solar system, the orbital mechanics and the newtonian physics, this is my dream game. I absolutely love this entry and I think if you put a few months of effort into making it into a full blown game it'd take off (pun intended)

LLOYD by danialhyatt 2014-05-02T01:35:00

Try as I might I couldnt progress the story past the cigarette packet.

Emotion Lord: Within The Heart by RyotaRaven55 2014-05-01T00:44:00

Neat concept, I felt like I was stealing souls though, not copying emotions. I really liked the soundtrack, good job there. I felt un-challenged though, I would have liked to be able to do more with the souls...I mean emotions, other than just unlocking doors. I think you could take this concept and mold it into quite a good game if you put some more time and thought into core game mechanics.

No Eyes Willy by blockbot 2014-04-30T03:42:00

Laughed so hard when I cleaned my Willy for the first time. Cool little game, nice solid mechanics. I'd have liked to see another layer of challenge on top of just navigating the map, like a limited amount of bridges or something. But for the 48 hours this is great.

Deeper by shasharala 2014-05-04T01:08:00

Have to agree with everyone else here, was left wanting more.

Bitxl's Kool Place by nigelmnz 2014-04-30T03:19:00

I love this concept! Brilliant just purely brilliant. I really REALLY wish this was longer. Giving the player the ability to edit the source code of your game as part of the gameplay, I love it.

Beneath The Surface by adamwoolridge 2014-05-01T23:55:00

Really liked the concept, and it was very well executed. Nice and solid gameplay with no bugs (that I could see). Quite a fun little game, very good entry. Good job!

Channels by linusmartensson 2014-04-30T06:45:00

your web link makes me download a .rar

Underline by eufrik 2014-04-30T06:48:00

Lovely game, I'm embarrassed by how long it took me to figure out why I was bumping into invisible walls.

To Surface by NeithR 2014-05-01T00:49:00

Very well done indeed, I almost didn't try it out because I'm avoiding downloading anything this LD, but then I saw it was a PDF and it blew my mind. Fantastic work.

Submersion by superzac 2014-04-28T03:36:00

The controls were a bit hard to get my head around, and at some point I got stuck in a spin and that became frustrating. Aside from that, I thought the map was fantastic and I had a lot of fun exploring the depths.

Kill or Kill by GreatBigJerk 2014-04-30T05:59:00

Dark and twisted, lack of animations were a bit of a downer but I still liked the overall graphical style. Starting over from the start basically killed it (pun intended) for me.

Clobsters by HartLaboratories 2014-05-03T02:54:00

Played this one with my SO and we had a lot of fun, lots of laughs. The physics were crazy and we couldn't figure them out, kept spinning around all over the place. I loved how the ring kept shrinking, very nice touch. I think if you polished up the audio this could be a really good game.

Membrane by whendricso 2014-05-14T03:20:00

Awesome concept, very cool indeed. I found it very tough to play (hard game!) but I still had a lot of fun. I gave you 5 stars for innovation.

Roots by Dutchess Games 2014-05-03T02:26:00

Very cool concept, your artwork was really nice, Yggdrasil in particular. Would love to see this all finished up with a bit of spit n' shine on it ;)

Fishing On The Ice by DonovanWu 2014-05-04T01:14:00

Nice work, I thought the sub battle was pretty funny. I did get a little frustrated by the number of fish (not enough) and the number of missiles that hit the ice (too many). I thought the graphics were very neat though and this was a good entry.

Effin' Rats by sputnikgames 2014-04-28T03:58:00

I liked the hand drawn feel of the graphics. I got tired of waiting for the balls to despawn so I could shoot again though.

Geology Rocks by theengineers 2014-04-30T03:49:00

OK! I'll admit it, I cheated!

New Dawn by Penguincat 2014-05-03T03:04:00

This is really cool, the storytelling is impressive. I very much wanted to advance the plot but for the life of me couldn't figure out how...

Deepweb by alect 2014-05-01T00:59:00

Tough little game, loved the concept though. I couldn't get very far into it due to sucking so bad, which was a shame because I felt I could have enjoyed it more.

COVERUP by SFBTom 2014-05-03T01:50:00

Very cool, I had to tab back to read the instructions at first to figure out what to do. Would be great to see it with some polish and a few more features like a timer or some form of "stress" factor, like the aliens spreading or something.
Nice work though!

Monster Pit by freeplay4c 2014-05-03T02:28:00

Music was a bit too loud and full on, would have liked to be able to turn it off or down. Good work though and good interpretation of the theme.

HammerHead in the Sea of Monsters by LTyrosine 2014-05-02T00:13:00

I loved this game! Thought it had heaps of content, the AI on the creatures worked really well, the big red crabby bastards kind of scared me with their grabby arms. Good job!

Room Cleaning Simulator 2014 by lokijki 2014-04-28T04:06:00

This had me in stitches, the first time I rolled on the floor I burst out laughing. Wonderful entry, the art style (while simplistic) is great, the sound track I enjoyed, made me think of the gameboy colour era.

Side B, Track 1 by Taugeshtu 2014-04-28T04:22:00

LIGHTCYCLES!!! You get points because they're my absolute favourite thing ever and Tron is amazing. That aside, I had a few issues like the AI driving off the edge of the world over and over, and the weird overpowered engine that almost flipped my bike if I went full throttle. The map could have been a bit bigger and the physics need some tweaking, but I really enjoyed this game!

Metal Meter Madness by mrspeaker 2014-04-28T03:46:00

Very cool, I liked the overall mechanics of the game, and the audio was fantastic (you got 5 stars for that!) I found a small bug when I spawned inside some beach goers and couldn't move..

LD33 — You are the Monster

Beast Of The Woods by AgentParsec 2015-08-24T04:34:00

Wow, fantastic atmosphere, the audio really sold it. Loved it, great job!

ENTROPY by ENDESGA 2015-08-24T04:03:00

This crashed right at the end for me (i think it was the end) great atmosphere, graphics and audio, but the lack of gameplay was disappointing.
Not sure I agree with using LD as advertising either.

Face Puncher by chunkybrewster 2015-08-24T04:20:00

I learned that if you use QW plus clicks you can turn your fists into meaty machine guns of death.

Monster of the Deep by noom 2015-08-24T04:22:00

oops! Yeah don't push space bar during gameplay :P
and @TerraCottaFrog the spawns are on a diceroll so it can be a bit dull, a really bad method for spawning but it's all I ended up having time for.

Razed by kewleus 2015-08-24T04:37:00

Neat, audio was cool I liked the music.

Monster Fight by Romario Ramirez 2015-08-24T04:13:00

I'm getting an error stating that my version of Chrome doesn't support the unity web player plugin required to play this game, however I have the latest version of Chrome. Will try the windows version...
Ok that worked, neat little game! Audio just about blew my ears off though

Imperial Accountant by Ilseroth 2015-08-24T04:29:00

Really liked this one, your art style was lovely, and the music was fantastic!

Devil's Avocado by DeadFragment 2015-08-30T01:46:00
