This is maddening, but quite hilarious. It's great that you're able to give such a simple game so much character! The ominous buzzing sound is still in my head. :)

It runs on Linux, but very slowly. Furthermore, the scrolling to move around the map is very hard to work.
That being said, I was still willing to put up with that to play the game. It's super-zen and crazy beautiful. It's the most fun I've ever had literally watching grass grow. :)
Got 110. :)
This was pretty brilliant. Not particularly fun as a "game", but as a piece of interactive art, it's stellar! Great interpretation of the theme, and excellent retro-style graphics! :)
It's just like assembly programming! (well, it felt more like encoding a cassette tape, but you know what I mean)
Great take on the concept! Too bad the web version doesn't run any faster.
@awenonian: Yeah, a few of my friends said the same thing. That feature wasn't really something I considered until I actually made the levels. :)
@megashroom: I think I spent about 14 hours altogether at the computer.
@slat: Yeah, if I had more time, I would have tried to make it so you didn't need frame-perfect timing to play. :)
Just like real government. :)
This was hilarious. Great work!
That was hilarious. :)
The cactus man gets really hard to control after jumping, but that kind of adds to the fun. The size of the countdown timer getting bigger each second is a nice, subtle touch too. Too bad you didn't add any comical sound effects or anything.
This is awesome! It took me a while to figure out the mechanic, but when I did, I was astounded! It took me a while to figure out which way to drag the asteroids to make them go away from my dude... I think I might have launched a few directly into him accidentally. :)
It would probably be more fun if I was playing with others, but it's still an awesome game! The background details are a nice touch, too. :)
Hooray for NES games! Took me a while to figure out the 10 second theme application - I thought the bunny rage came from eating enough carrots at first. :)
Pretty cool, but after a while, I stopped being able to shoot (even during my attack phase). Was there limited ammo or something like that?
Aww, I'd love to play this, but I'm running Linux. Looks super cool, though!
Very awesome work! I like how it's kind of "turn-based" in that time only passes when you're dragging. :)
This was interesting - trying to control the guy and the block at the same time was a bit like trying to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time: it takes some crazy coordination.
One thing that might help would be to make it so the character is *always* jumping, that way you just have to move him back and forth. It would also go well with the theme "work it up" since he's working up a sweat whether you're moving or not. :D
this is the best game forever
