LD26 — Minimalism

Arco by lightspeedlucas 2013-04-30T22:25:00

Very nice well executed concept. Does the music beat match the game? Either way I'm finding it very hard to get around once. I've grabbed the .apk to try on my commute tomorrow.

Persist by AdventureIslands 2013-05-01T21:43:00

Very nice game, really liked the art use of the theme. As others have said, it got a bit frustrating when I died due to the controls.

... by Dir3kt 2013-05-06T17:36:00

A well designed puzzle game. Good job.

Feint Signal by brxtr 2013-05-06T19:41:00

Impressed with the overall polish of this, great concept and graphics.

The pulsing is what stopped me playing it for longer. I'll be coming back to it again later.

Kill Tower by KHANanaphone 2013-05-01T21:24:00

The time spent on designing the puzzles really shows. I've not finished it yet, but I'll definitely be going back to it.

XYZ by ataxkt 2013-05-06T20:20:00

Great execution of a nifty idea.

I didn't realize it was a 3D object for the first few levels, some shadows or a little rotating intro for each new object would have helped me at the start.

Minimalistic Minimization by rainblade studios 2013-05-06T16:59:00

Solid game, the explosion fits in well. I did feel like some of the times I failed it was because the gave me an impassable section. The timer keeps running after you crash, making it difficult to see how long you survived.

And the windows version works fine for me.

silly squares by lightsoda 2013-04-30T22:42:00

Like most people it seems I thought the controls were a little too sensitive, slipping between the moving blocks was a bit frustrating.

Really nice work and I like the level design.

REVOLVENGARDE by Andrio 2013-05-06T17:09:00

Really enjoyed playing that, it's very well executed throughout.

LoneStranger's Drag by LoneStranger 2013-04-30T21:42:00

Getting past 19,000 gets pretty intense and the sound fits really well. Nice work.

Wait for it... NOW! by visibleatom 2013-05-06T20:53:00

The web version and the windows build are different. It's virtually unplayable with the windows version as the lines are super fast.

I quite enjoyed the game on the web however.

consequences by Hypnohustla 2013-05-01T20:53:00

I didn't spot that the ships became the obstacles either the first time. Full marks for the art style.

Minimalism Tower Defense by Rubricet 2013-05-06T16:20:00

There are a few bugs, as people have mentioned already. Also some visual indication of the upgrade level of the towers would help.

A solid tower defense otherwise.

Towers of Rage by robotality 2013-04-30T21:19:00

Amazing how much you've expressed the combat in a handful of pixels.

Canon by sparkleswirl 2013-04-30T22:48:00

Once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it. For me it was a strange mix of calming and intense.

BASHLAND - Breakout Mario Mashup by McFunkypants 2013-05-06T19:35:00

My thoughts are the same as many others already, great style, lacking gameplay.

i need to lie down by JigxorAndy 2013-05-06T16:33:00

The graphics and sound work together really nicely, generating a nice ramp in intensity. But I'm still not sure what I just spent my last 5 minutes doing...

Mini Hero by sharbelfs 2013-04-30T22:07:00

Nice gameplay and very well polished.

It caught me out when the puzzle didn't involved filling the entire board, could do with an indication at the start of each level to show what you're aiming for.

Mr. Triangle by Erifdex 2013-05-06T20:00:00

Really like the style. The post-compo version covers the only criticisms I had. Nice work.

A Game of Numbers by JoeDev_net 2013-04-30T21:09:00

Brilliant game, nice level design.

Daft Pong by mikelovesrobots3 2013-05-01T21:32:00

Well played.

Minimal by GingerMess 2013-05-01T21:58:00

Nice idea for a physics puzzler. Things got a bit tricky to set up, on some levels my elaborate structures got tired and went for a lie down.

Door by hockeygoalie5 2013-04-30T20:42:00

Very nice game. The only problem was the lack of a restart button.

Twitch 21 by Jesse Freeman 2013-05-01T22:13:00

Nice execution of a simple concept. I found it surprisingly addictive.

LD28 — You Only Get One

Power Core Defense by oyster_crusher 2013-12-18T18:07:00

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'll make sure to rate your games in return.

As for the crashes and other issues, the first thing I can say is please try it in Chrome for now. I'll investigate and try to fix problems in other browsers.

Power Core Defense by oyster_crusher 2013-12-18T18:25:00

Should be fixed now. I've tested it in all major browsers on windows and it appears to work.

CYTC (Choose Your Treasure Chest) by tiffi_gaming 2013-12-17T22:13:00

Simple concept, but surprisingly enjoyable.

A Stone's Throw by scoobyben 2013-12-17T19:14:00

Really enjoyed the core mechanic. Thought that the movement was a bit too quick and hard to handle.

I disagree with some of the comments that didn't like the pits, they added a needed element of danger that force you to take it slow (or take risks). Although losing the stone down a pit seemed excessively harsh and effectively resulted in death.

Biofuel by Steven Colling 2013-12-18T02:15:00

Really liked the graphics, and how polished most of the game felt.

PB: 136 Liters.

1-2-3-Ban by Draknek 2013-12-17T19:32:00

Left me wanting more puzzles, that's got to be a good thing.

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Cavernsweeper by davecheesefish 2014-04-28T21:45:00

Really liked this idea, although I've yet to actually complete it. The only real criticism would be that it takes forever to get anywhere since you have to 'solve' the board over and over to get the arrows you need. Also I think there's a bug in how the tiles are revealed where not all empty tiles in a group are revealed in one go. Great game overall though.

Substratum by Ian MacLarty 2014-05-03T16:20:00

Super interesting puzzle mechanics that presented a number of really satisfying moments of realization. Going fullscreen resets the game, which was a bit irritating.

Darkness is Scary by Tom Rijnbeek 2014-04-30T12:10:00

That's a cool mechanic for a puzzle. Some of the levels left me a little disappointed at the potential puzzles that could be made with this idea. Good game.

Tiny Haunt by rojo 2014-04-30T11:45:00

Fun to play around with but lacking in any real challenge. Music fits in really nicely.

(HTML5) Under YOUR Skin by luisfelipeart 2014-05-04T07:49:00

I enjoyed the visuals, but found the controls awkward. It felt like I was missing something about how the movement worked and kept clicking to shoot rather than use space.

Understanding LD by DarkMeatGames 2014-05-03T16:34:00

Really enjoyed the graphical style and seeing lots of small things done well. I was disappointed when it ended. Nice work.

Nutrition by jestar_jokin 2014-04-30T13:50:00

Nice game. I've not beaten it yet, but have just seen your comment giving hints as to the solution so I'll take another stab at it. More levels, starting with something shorter would have been a nice addition.

MazeShift by edriavw 2014-04-29T05:11:00

I really like both the style and the concept. However the puzzles themselves were a bit disappointing, especially the final one which started in a 'solved' state (I assume this was unintentional). I would definitely play this with more and more difficult puzzles.

Cybs Submarine by Cybs 2014-05-04T07:57:00

Good simple little game, especially for your first bit of js.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Monster and Hero by MSiddeek 2015-08-29T11:50:00

Very nice little puzzler, really enjoyed it. Only slight issue I had was with the movement controls.
