the atmosphere is really enticing. I was always curious what I might reveal.

OH SHIT! The game is called "Reveal"
God damn ^_^
I must say, totally incredible and well made. Thank you for this!
Wish I had someone to play with. But very cool!
Don;t exactly know what this has to do with the theme but the grappling was really fun!
Amazing art! Very well done production!
I won the second level without getting the two together.
This makes me crave Super Mario Bros 2
Alright, this one really got to me. Loved it. The art style is obviously superb. The gameplay is so nice and simple.
This is a great piece. I've played it multiple times already and showed it around.
Very awesome! I love this entry
Very well made. The simplicity and length will serve as a reminder for me on my next game jam. Thanks for making it, I had fun!
@axcho Attacking and mating is done by clicking close by organisms.
@Accidental Rebel
That was your energy meter, it depletes the longer you take your turn. So, you would have to either make quicker decisions or invest time to find Nutrients to replenish it.
Sorry for the confusion everyone, next build will include more clear instructions.
@sampyxis aww thank you! I really wanted to nail down an evolution simulation feature rather than a eugenics mechanic (alows the user to choose traits) since that's the way life has been working as far as we know.
@csanyk @Gryxitl what particular part of the controls caused issues? Was it the movement, the mouseover, the clicking?
@juaxix Thank you! I'm planning on adding mechanics to be unlocked with the skill tree.
Also, I think I found the bug for the controls. Should be fixed during my lunch break :)
Honestly one of my favorite games I've played today so far.
Very solid, simple, and tight mechanics. Most important, it's very fun.
And yes we do look up sometimes :)
Magnificent entry. You guys made a wonderful game.
Super cool! I would really like to see more of this. The concept of using your phone as a magic lens was a very cool idea. Loved it.
Dude. I want to play this it looks awesome
5 starrrss!!
I played this one a lot. I found holding control is a must (auto shoot). When you're really huge, you have to move up and down to ensure your bullets hit every Y height on the right side.
Really great mechanic of the growing and shrinking. It make some very organic moments in the game.
Oooo great use of the theme in art and game design!
Dawww! What a great ending! I loved the game thanks for making it!
Ah, took me a while to figure out the keys have to be pressed as the dot hits the line.
Maybe having the line pulsate to the beat would grab the attention more?
Cool concept and fun!
Small suggestion for post update, could the yellow ball create a yellow trail to outline what the previous path was? Might have already been thought of but just putting it out there. That way, the player can think less of where they came from and more about where to go.
After I win a level and I have the choice to select the next Wave, no towers appear and I lose the game anyway. Did I skim over a instruction or it this possibly a bug of the level not resetting it's towers?
haha, I liked it. Wasn't too hard to "guess" which keys are to be used. It was fun re-leaning how to move.
Loved how with the left key unlocked, you re-used your levels and had the player backtrack. It's like the unlock / exportation mechanism in metroid broken down to it's simplest form, or should I say, minimalized?
Good use of theme, I approve and enjoyed!
Dig the visuals!
no rainwalkers, but cool vibe!
How long is it supposed to pause at a blank screen? My screen was dark for a few minutes a couple times. Had to reload.
So.. Good...

@MisterMagnus And Thank you! That means a lot! :D
@dvdking ya I can see that. I'll be making the difficulty increase sooner. Might be too much of a cruise when you start out.
@Lianne Booton Confession time! The ramps were totally me freaking out it wasn't fun enough. It really was an art game to begin with but after I had it play tested a bit, people seemed to want ~anything more exciting. So the ramps were a super quick addition for those players. So ya, I totally buckled lol, I'll admit it. But I wanted to compromise for both types of players.
@Lianne Booton and thank you!!
(lol, dodging the eyes I'm getting while I'm at work not working)
Wow, thank you guys all for such great feedback and compliments!! I'm getting all emotional that you played it!
@Waave ya, there's like a lot of effects used on this. I was going to add a quick start test and adjust the visual / graphic intensity but I ran out of time :/
post update!
