I'm Being Eaten By A Spider Queen (And I Don't Like It One Bit!) by L 2011-08-22T23:24:00
Great! Just Great! I love Lesbian Spider Queens of Mars so this is a great and interesting spin-off puzzle game

Neat game, though it could use some sound. I'm not really sure what you're trying to say with it...it feels a little like "Every Day the Same Dream" mixed with cynicism about gamedev...Keep working on it and make it even better :)
Cool game, though it's pretty conventional. Also, pretty tiny :(
Great job :) You did a neat trick by having the danger come from the smaller side of the screen, makes you feel very anxious because more danger could come at any moment. Also great graphics, but the resolution is very tiny on my screen :(
I love the way you've approached the snake game with this. Makes it much more challenging than the original :). Good job
Not bad, though the level design seems haphazard and random, and the AI is completely unpredictable. Cool mix of dungeon-crawler and frantic-race though
Neat idea, but I think you could have stretched a little further. It's Memory, with all the inherent benefits and flaws as such -- the challenge mechanic really isn't there. Next time I hope you can dive a little deeper :)
Cool! Though as the comments above me echo, it's not particularly innovative. The cyan are also a little hard to see against the white background. Wouldn't mind some better art too ;)
Cool idea! The ice queen is way too powerful though, it seems like your balance is way off for 1v1. Especially being able to drop monsters right on top of people and then reactivate the ones they just killed...Otherwise it makes a neat sort of mazing game :)
Very challenging indeed! Audio would be nice. Could use some further balancing in terms of the way the difficulty ramps up over the level. Otherwise, it's a pretty good showing :)
Neat idea, though it really isn't as much fun as it could be. Also needs some audio. The levels seem really imbalanced, as the ones I got seemed to have most of the enemies on one side of the map, and next to none on the rest. After some more work, it could be really cool :)
Welcome to Ludum Dare ^^. This is a good start, but it needs balancing and some more depth. A circle shooting other circles isn't particularly interesting. Audio would help as well. Just things to keep in mind for your next #LD48 :)
I love to see LOVE2D getting some exposure, it's where I learned lua ^^. This feels sort of unfinished to me though, like there were supposed to be enemies or some element of challenge that didn't make it through. Maybe next time :)
Nicely done. Well executed idea with a solid mechanic. I have to echo the complaints about the corners, though I did find it easier once I started holding down the keys of whatever direction I was going to move in next. Well done :)
Start taking down posters...
You escaped! Congrats :)
The ending is exactly as proper as it was meant to be. If you're upset by it, it's working as intended ^^
Awesome idea, making those escaped characters escape ;). If I modify the source code files do the levels change? Could make for some really cool modding :P
"Death always goes after your love first" my kind of morbid :). Could really use some audio though. Otherwise, good job ^^
Reminds me of the 8-bit days of my childhood :). With a little more work it could be a really cool retro throwback game ^^
Neat! It could really use some sound, and visual distinction as well. It's really really hard to see most of the bullets, which is bad in a bullet hell like this one.
Not bad, though toward the end it was too fast to react to birds coming, or to get fruits and whatnot, so the balance was really off.
Cool, though I think I've seen a similar flash game out there before. Nice work for 48 hours.
Cool idea! I like the tandem keyboard gameplay, though it's really tough to play alone. Also, please cut the coughing out of your music next time ;)
Cool idea, though it's not particularly intuitive. It also kind of turns into a who-can-mash-the-keys-faster game after a while, since defending makes it a zero-sum game. Would be nice if you got a bonus for shooting down an enemy bee somehow...
I couldn't get this to install on my EVO4G. I dropped it onto my SD card and tried to run it with EasyInstall like I usually do but it wasn't recognized. So sad :(
Very interesting game :). It feels like a visual novel though I'm not sure taking any other paths would explain anything (not that I'd want to understand). Could use some sound though!
Would work much much better with some sound and a better sense of space. As it was, I felt like I was lost the entire time, which meant I wasn't really engaged in the game. Better luck next time :)
The random level generation is your biggest downfall. Probably would have been better to build a lot of different levels and select each at random so that they're all at least beatable. Otherwise, it's a good start and I hope to see your next #LD48 game :)
Neat game :)
Nice work :). I've always liked these sorts of spacial reasoning puzzles, and I think you did a good job of puzzling here. The game crashed for me after the big level though, so sad :/
Tis a pity that you couldn't see it through. I hope what you learned from it is applicable to your next #LD48 game :)
Awesome :) Just awesome! I love one-button games, and this Escape take on it works really well :D
Please put the game.exe file in the archive so that those of us without the engine can play :)
Thanks @peterthehe - I updated the description to have the command list :)
