Unable to run: Jump button did not function. Cute idea though!
Your control scheme makes it impossible to play this game on a Mac laptop. There is no right control.
@BahamusZaero did you switch to the baseball cap. You can only jump while wearing that one. Thanks for the bug report. @crowbeak yeah I found that out today from a couple of friends who play on macs. Did not think about that. Left mouse will also fire, I will try and work up a mac friendly version....or you can take this as a sign to get a PC, either one
Wow, that's tough. I wish I could say I made it far, but about four enemies in I was toast. ;) Nifty concept, though. I like the idea of having to make sacrifices on what you can do, but the controls were a bit too awkward for me to get far. At any rate, good job!
BahamutZaero, this was a little tricky for me too, but it's probably because you don't automatically have the "jump hat" selected when you pick it up. At least that's what it was for me as well.
As stated in the comments, control scheme makes it impossible to play on Mac.
Thank you all for letting me know about the mac control issue. There are two version up now. The mac friendly version replaces the key used for firing. Hope this helps
Is it possible for you to distribute a linux binary?
My version of unity does not appear to have the ability to export into a linux usable file.
Interesting idea. I found the controls a bit far apart to be comfortable with them.
Nice game. Some glitches with jump that let me pass over obstacles :P You can continueously jump on walls edge to climb them. Even on further level, it's just more tricky.
Jump doesn't work :(
Alright, so I made it to the secret level and I wasn't rewarded with anything, so I was pretty disappointed with the game.
@Fervir if you found a secret level I would like to know about it too
The music is a bit loud. Other then that its great.
I couldn't get past the level with the 3 targets and the wardrobe.. I kept hitting them but I could only get one, even though I hit them correctly D:
Not bad, enjoyed it :)
I managed to break the game with wall jumping. :P unique concept, but I'm not sure the gameplay made good use of it, likewise not sure how close to the theme this idea was. However, cute little game, clear instructions and worth a giggle. I'd be interested to see what this could become, with time.
Pretty challenging but I like the idea of putting on different hats to change your controls. The sword's idle position makes it seem like just running into an enemy should damage them.
The controls felt a bit awkward, but I liked the game mechanic. If the game didn't feel soo "floaty" I would have enjoyed it :)
I really liked this idea. It was simple to understand the controls, but the enemies were quite tough. I thought the hats were a cute idea.
The hats as genre abilities was pretty cool.
I had to run the "mac friendly version" despite being on Windows 7, due to a "bad file length" error on the first link.
I managed to jump clear of the level I think. I climbed the second big wall, then did a big jump off of it, sailed past everything, ended up running along the bottom of the world forever.
enjoyed the challenge of quickly switching weapon
Cool idea to put on different hats for different tasks, just makes you whish you could put on more than one hat at the same time... :) Otherwise, good stuff!
You can infinitely wall jump this let's you escape the gameplay zone.
More hats please! Liked the infinite wall jump, much fun and the music was a nice touch.
