Nice concept, I want to see this expanded on with more depth and multiplayer.
Pretty cool game, but a couple of tweaks will make it much better. I would say to make a moving jump easier to execute and to kill a person if the run off a ledge.
Cool game, I played it till the end. The overall mood of this game reminds me of Terraria for some reason.
I liked the intro.
This game did a good job with the theme. However, one of those sound effects needs to be removed, it hurts my ears.
This is a really good entry, but as others have said its a bit too hard and I'm the type of person to like hard games. If you had 2-3 hp per try, I think it would make a big difference.
Really good game. You guys should definitely continue on with this idea.
Great game, but it NEEDS an undo button.
Awesome idea and execution. Please continue on with this idea.
Nice game, I like the graphics. I just wish the screen were bigger and the camera had a higher sensitivity
Thanks a lot for the tip Endurion! We've fixed the problem and now the game is an executable! That's much better.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. There is now a link to any extra software you may need to run Honey Heist.
I would try making it a bit easier to boot up your game. I almost gave up on it, but thankfully I figured it out. Having said that, the games pretty good. The controls are well done and it reminds me of playing micro machines on my NES many years ago.
This reminds me of that mini-game in Bart's Nightmare for SNES.
I enjoyed this, just wish it were longer.
Nice work. I love that shifting ability, it adds a whole new dimension to the game. I also appreciate that old school difficulty. "You died at the boss? Go back to the beginning!" Tough, but fair. I'll be back to beat this.
Played this game to the end. It's tough, but fun.
Wow, this is really good! One of the best games I've played so far. Gameplay is VERY good and i like the gameboy graphics. You need to continue on with this game, I would buy it for a dollar on an app store with more levels. Great job!
Awesome Music!
High marks for innovation, but it was a bit confusing.
Pretty cool game. I would change the controls a bit though, it can get tiresome hitting the move button over and over again.
Wow, this game is amazing. You need to start a kickstarter to continue this story. The mood in this game is amazing. Keep up the good work!
Awesome overall game. I love that you can destroy the environment, but it can also be a pain if you destroy parts of the level and then can't access certain areas after you die.
This is one of the better games I played so far. The simple gameplay mixed with the weapon upgrades and items makes this a perfect pick up and play game. You definitely need to polish this up, it has a lot of potential.
Cool art style.
Awesome graphics and unique gameplay concept.
Amazing music and amazing concept. I would recommend leaving the display gauge on as default, as the game can become VERY frustrating. Without it, my brain tries to play the game like a regular platformer, which results in frustration and painful hands from pushing the buttons so hard. Overall, this is a really good game and would like to see a full version.
I loved the whole concept of trading dirt for technology and then having no earth left to live on.
Good job, really great music and probably the best use of the theme yet and I've nearly played 100 games.
You are win!
This is a pretty cool idea! With some more depth and polish, I think this could be something special.
This is pretty fun and I like the NES style.
Liked the graphics, gameplay and evolution system. Good job.
Top marks for innovation. If you balance things out a bit, I think you can have a really good game here.
Nice game. I liked the story, I was compelled to finish it.
Well done. The first level reminds me of the water stages in donkey kong country, which is a good thing.
Great controls and fun gameplay. It needs to be a bit harder though, as I could rush to the end of the level 90% of the time, thanks to the great controls.
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Robotic: good point, we should fix that.
tomsik68: yea it was unfortuante, we had all the sound effects done, we simply ran out of time to put them in.
Haette: I agree, I often find myself losing the cursor. We'll make sure to fix that in the post compo version.
This is a cool idea and well executed, good job.
I had fun with this. If you polished this up a bit, I think it would have a lot of potential.
I had fun with this, good game.
Is that Figaro Castle from FF6? That's the first thing I though of when I seen that.
This is a really cool concept, I'd like to see this idea taken farther.
Nice game, I liked the pokemon style of gameplay.
Cool idea and the music was great.
Wow this was amazing! This game needs 6 stars for the mood! One of the top games I've played so far. (over 50 at this point)
Awesome game. Love the unique gameplay.
This is really unique. Liked all the surprises.
Awesome game, possible the best I've played so far. I would like to see this polished and receive a full release!
I like the art style and it's nice to see a multiplayer game. Good work, especially for your first game.
Awesome music.
I love this game. Reminds me a lot of kirby.
Awesome game. You always do very well. I wanna see what your capable of making in a month!
Awesome game. Looking forward to the fully fleshed out version.
I liked the graphics and that cutscene!
Nice game. It took me a while to figure out how to shoot. Thought it was point and click, but you must swipe in the direction you want to shoot.
Loved the music.
This is a good idea. If you you polished this up, it has a lot of potential.
This game was fun and the ending was funny, good work.
I like the gameplay, everything feels right and the evolution system is pretty cool.
Loved the controls and the music.
This was really good. It an amazing atmosphere to it, top marks for mood and music.
Nice graphics and music. I may have run into a bug on the submersion stage. There's a platform to jump off of to get over a wall but the player falls right through it. Other than that its a fun game.
I really liked this, but that flashing is painful to look at. I wanted to play more, but the pain was too much. Besides that, its really good.
Nice game. I liked the graphics, music and the gameplay. Had a little bit of trouble placing items, but overall a good game.
Hahaha, no it wasn't modeled after Guy Fieri, completely coincidental.
Wish there was a way to play this on my actual game boy.
Nice Art style.
Loved the graphics. However, it did take a while for me to realize that the robots leg was lifting then dropping. Loved crushing those cars with that dinosaur.
Stealth based logging where you avoid hippies...that's an awesome idea, just wish there was some story to capitalize on this funny idea. Good game though. Reminds my a lot of our LD 23 game Honey Heist.
I liked the snowball controls...its fun to try and get it just right. There's something I find really charming about this game, kinda reminded me of having snow ball fights and making snowman as a kid. Well done.
It's nice to see a 3d game for a change. It looks good.
Nice art. I think you should try to make the attacks do more damage, to speed things up.
Had fun with this. It's a tough game, but really like the idea of breaking into a spaceship and going undercover in the space suit.
Like the controls, adds difficulty and a unique way of playing.
Awesome game. Liked the cameos, although Steve Jobs looked more like that movie critic guy (don't know his name)
Simple, but fun. This would make a nice phone game if you could make the controls work with phones.
Took me a sec to understand, but i think the gameplay is real innovative.
Like the Zelda inspired graphics. I would like the attack to have more range, but it was fun.
It needs a bit more variety, but i like the idea. Good game.
I was surprised how much fun I had with this, and that game over screen is hilarious (and kinda creepy). It too bad I could figure out how to get past level 4 (game wouldn't move on to next level)....I wanted to play more.
Really liked the world changing concept and the difficulty. The game is addicting. It has that Mega Man "one more try" aspect to it.
Cool idea. I was able to go pretty far.
Nice art.
Loved this game. Had a good laugh playing as the referee.
The gameplay is a little confusing, but the graphics and music are excellent.
Great work, you never disappoint!
I got Jobbinhood. Nice art.
Nice game, it felt really intense when the mommy would begin chasing.
Like the graphic style.
The way those bunny's eat you is scary. Nice gameplay, it's unique.
Amazing entry. Love the graphics and I'm amazed you were able to make an advanced war style game in such a short amount of time. Good job.
(Fyi I ran into a bit of a bug on the second level after my first turn where the cpu does nothing and the game can't progress)
Rank: Kitten Pizza
Nice game, this gave me a good laugh.
Cool idea, but its a bit too abstract. Some more art to symbolize whats going on I think would help out. Otherwise, good work.
I like the game concept and its nice to see some 3d graphics.
Nice game, found it a bit difficult though.
AWESOME GAME! I love this. At first I almost gave up because I couldn't figure it out, but once I did, I loved it. This deserves a full release.....make it happen!
Cool idea, I liked the twist.
Interesting idea.
Nice entry. It might be my computer, but I experienced a little bit of choppiness, otherwise good job.
Amazing game, very smart design. There seems to be a problem playing it in firefox (game stalls, won't progress to next level properly), chrome works fine though.
Level 1 = 20.75
Level 2 = 24.45
Level 3 = 26.56
Level 4 = 57.68
Level 5 = 1:40.12
Awesome game guys! Love the Super Meat Boy style time trials style gameplay.
Some things to add:
A button to restart the level instead of just checkpoints so you can try and get the best time.
A quick tutorial level to explain the colors and mixtures...I had to read the page to understand why I was dying to the holes.
Good job, the game has potential!
Amazing game, best I've played so far. I love the sword mechanic and the horse teammate.
Enemies have too much HP for my tastes, but its a lot of fun either way.
Well done. Amazing graphics as usual, wish you could put out a pixel art tutorial one of these days.
Wow so much content for 48 hours and quality content as well.
Liked the art style and the challenging gameplay.
Fun and innovative! I think it would benefit having a tutorial. I booted the game up 3 different times after realizing I had missed some important game mechanics.
I think the terrain breaking should happen more slowly and perhaps in specific areas instead of all over the map.
I'd like to see where you take this, it has a lot of potential!
This was a lot of fun, I got 56 my first try!
I think it would be cool if you added a way to measure a persons average reaction time and posted it along side the score at the end. You could even break it down into the 4 different buttons to showing reaction time and success rate per button to help people get better next try.
Art is very good! That cat has some long arms! I got whacked when he was on the other side of the table!
I think the gameplay has to be balanced a little bit. It is too hard initially, but then becomes too easy once you know to just go slow.
I love the cat, despite the fact that your trying to feed him cake and hes punishing you for this!
I had fun with swinging that alien around the crops. 1738 High Score.
I love the art! I would separate the tools a little bit. I was selecting the one next to the one I want by accident and took me a moment to realize why the tool wasn't working.
I like the gameplay idea you have here. I think the next step would be to add upgrades you can buy in exchange for the money you make on vegetables.
Love the gameplay! I think taking this idea further is worth pursuing. Adding some new cards, enemies and friendly characters would be fun to see!
I had fun with this! I think it has a lot of potential! I would work on making movement a bit easier. Also, it might help if you make it a 5x5 grid instead of a 4x4. It seems like its easy to get stuck with a 4 by 4 grid.
Thanks for the feedback archfan7411! Unfortunately, the pause button is a little bit bugged. I recommend not putting pause tiles right next to other tiles for the time being, but I will fix it.
Thanks for the feedback huozhedexiaoc! That will be coming soon! I didn't have enough time to implement it, unfortunately.
You can definitely feel the inspiration from doom and goldeneye here and I like it a lot. The upgrade system is very unique for a first person shooter and would be interested in how far this can go. Having speed upgrades, armor, etc.
I would recommended people go full screen when playing the html5 version. I was playing in the window and my aim was drifting to the left for some reason, but going full screen fixed it.
I love these types of games! I found the super crystal around 11 minutes. I liked the simplification of things, like being able to float around or bumping into to dirt to mine.
Your htlm5 version isn't working.
Great art work, great music, great gameplay...everything was great! It's inspiring to see that such a polished game can be created in just 3 days!
Love the simplicity of this game! Simple, fun and addicting! Reminds of flappy bird in that sense. I think it's worth uploading to a mobile app store!
Harvester looked great! I would zoom the camera out a little bit so its easier to see where your going and where the enemies are, considering the harvester has a wide turning radius.
I had a lot of fun with this! It's amazing, we developed very similar games!
I enjoyed the SMB2/Doki Doki Panic inspired graphics and gameplay!
I enjoyed the stock market aspect to it. Fun to play! I would think about adding some enemies that punish you out on the edges of the mob. Also some sort of power up item like mega hammer to put a huge dent in the giant mob would be satisfying.
This was fun! I love the music, it reminded me of sim city!
I think the auto harvest and auto plant upgrades should be a bit more powerful. I was still clicking like crazy right up to the end.
I really like the innovative gameplay! I think the idea has a lot of potential!
I had fun with this! It would be cool to see some vampire survivor upgrades added in!
Great job! I'd agree with everyone that a faster cursor would be a good idea.
I enjoyed trying to figure out this puzzle game! It was fun! I do think it needs a tutorial to help get players up to speed a bit quicker.
You had me at flying cow.
I loved this, played it right until the end! Definitely want to see this become a full game!
It might be worth experimenting with changing one thing. Instead of Ernest moving automatically and pressing up or down to stop him, make it so that he doesn't move and you have to press a button to make him move forward. Maybe even a button to toggle movement on and off. It would make it easier to control, but that might be counter productive and remove the challenge. I think it's worth testing out.
I actually think your game and the game I developed for the jam have some similar mechanics, very cool!
Loved the story telling and humor!
Got 557041! This game is a lot of fun! As hectic as it gets, I think you might be able to squeeze in one more mechanic to make things really crazy. Maybe alternating between 2 keys to perform repairs/refuel when you feel you have a moment to spare.
Flappy Birdy + Platformer = Nesting. I liked it a lot!
I love this game and want to see it taken farther! Tons of potential! It reminds me of a previous ludum dare entry that ended up getting a full game release, Octogeddon.
I like the idea here! I think the screen zooms out a bit too far and becomes too difficult for a single player to defend. Maybe allowing the player to place turrets or some sort of defence would make it easier for the player to zone off these areas and focus his shooting in other areas.
