The spinning being off-center feels less weird once you're in motion, but it could do with slowing down to a stop when you're not actively turning. It's a bit difficult to control your trajectory as it is... or alternately, with a bit of tweaking that could make for an interesting mechanic :D

Browser or Windows build are unlikely to happen unless I either rewrite this entirely in Unity or some other sane tool, or splash out for another GM version :( Turns out GameMaker Mac was a pretty bad choice to work with. Now that the Christmas dust has settled a bit I'll get to fixing the final score display and will try to at least get a video together - it's not very long or complex so everything that's in this build I can show off relatively easily. For those who have Game Maker for Windows, the Source download should just play in it at least.

That kind of already happens - when a critter reproduces, its stats get passed on to the child with some slight random mutation. Same goes for bullets that kill critters - any bullet that kills a critter shifts the entire tribe's weaponry towards its own stats by a small amount.

It's a bit more obvious with the bullets; for the critters I think the game might not usually last long enough (and too small in scope) for a significant variety to show.

I guess I could slowly increase the number of points available to the player to spend on their tribe with number of games played or such... will have to look into that.
