I really love the feel of the game and I think you did some great stuff. It's awesome... but how do I get out of the first area?

I really love the feel of the game and I think you did some great stuff. It's awesome... but how do I get out of the first area?
Thanks for playing the game.
The dirt blocks do blend into the background a bit, which I could have done much better.
I'm a huge fan of difficult games so I may have been a bit brutal. Difficulty setting are a great idea.
Art is definitely not my strong suit and this is my first finished graphical game. I would have liked to spend more time on art, but I wanted to get the game finished.
There is an end to the game. There are five levels.
The damage you take in the first two levels are from the lava blocks. Later on your scales evolve and you are immune to lava, but that is when an enemy is introduced.
Thanks again to everyone who played it.
I didn't think anyone would actually finish haha. I need to fix the swimming implementation; very poor
The height is set at 2560 for every level. Just seems faster because you don't have to avoid so many blocks
Man, those voxel assets are neat. I really love the jester animation too.
It is really hard to stack stuff though, I don't think I have the patience for that.
The title screen is a little low res, and hard to read, but other than that, great game. Love the concept and the community involvement.
Really loved the environment. The mushrooms, water, lighting... I felt like I was in a real forest.
I had a little trouble controlling the camera at first. The sensitivity on the control is a little high, but I became used to it after a while.
I also like how you handled the world boundaries by draining the lantern's fuel faster when you enter the ocean. Great entry!
I couldn't help but laugh through the whole game because the music was great. I had a good time playing the game.
I can't think of much criticism other than polishing it up. Good game, thanks for making it
I feel that the game could benefit greatly from some player movement prediction. I could avoid all damage by continually strafing, making the game incredibly easy.
Your website was down when I wanted to play :/
I really liked this game. The art is great; simple and impressive. The sound goes really well with the feel. Also, the controls are very minimal.
The only criticisms I have are that the theme isn't very apparent and it's a bit hard. It took me a very long time to figure the puzzles out.
Great game, thanks for making it
I love the controls. And the simplicity is pretty cool. Well done
My buddy and I had a blast in this game. I kicked his ass and he still had fun. Great game
The look and feel of the game are pretty awesome. Simple concept executed well.
It was hard at times to predict which person would blow up when they were close together.
I didn't hear any sound.
Your talent with art is outstanding. I'm a bit biased because this style is one of my favorites, but the game looks amazing. You've already pointed out the bugs in the game, so I won't tell you about those, but aside from the few minor bugs, it played really well. I like this game a lot.
Crazy stuff. I think I might be seeing those colors even though I've closed the game haha.
Interesting game. Cheers
This game is a ton of fun. It gets pretty tough, which I love. If you make some graphics that don't burn out my retinas, you'd have an epic game haha. Well done
I really like the asthetic you've got going on. The art and sound work really well together.
The main mechanic is pretty cool too. For the compo, the length is perfect.
The ending was great, although I'd speed it up a bit.
Great work, thanks for making a cool game
This game rocks. There isn't much I can say except well done. I had lots of fun
This game is incredible, if a tad long. I tried to finish it, but after the 30th level I had to call it quits. This game would have been perfect with about 6 levels, 700 is a little much for a Jam Game. I shaved before this game, and now I have to shave again.
The art style is amazing, the controls are great. The sword mechanic is also incredible, and fairly unique. I was really impressed by the whole thing.
Not too bad. I like the innovation you've got going. Cool stuff. Well done
Cool concepts you've got there. Simple and neat. Well done
Hahahaha, that might be the funniest game yet. Creepy... but funny
Not too bad. I like the beginning the most. Cool effects
The aesthetics are great and it short and sweet. Good stuff
So many great things about this game. The concept and style are incredible. I especially liked the changing colours. I also thought it was cool how your collecting the orbs affected the soundtrack.
I think the game is a bit unforgiving though. I got down to 40 my first try, and was dismayed to have to start again from 100. Maybe a 3 life system would work better, or have the player "lose" orbs when they hit a square, so they have to recover. Great entry.
Pretty neat game. I really like management type games and you've got something good started here
I like the idea of this game. Breaking the mold and doing something different is cool.
With more time you could polish this up and make it even better. Also, restarting level two because of a missed jump got a bit frustrating
I had fun playing the game. The creepy fat guy ghost made me laugh. Good work.
I got a fatal error when the boss in the left room killed me. And the logic for the movement needs a bit of tweaking.
The level design could use a little work. Right now it just seems like all the mechanics are the same, just different colors and sprites.
When I run the game in Chrome, nothing shows up. I've got a white screen that should be a swf on your website.
Playing this game made me feel really chill. The music was perfect and it was a relaxing, fun, interesting game.
Cool stuff
I had fun playing this game. The first few waves were the most fun and after a while it got a little tedious clicking over and over.
If you are looking to improve it, I'd start with collision and shooting. Calculate them from the front of the ship so it's more realistic.
Good game
Cool concept and I like the art.
A couple recommendations: fire the projectiles from the shotgun and don't keep pieces of the asteroid connected when they are broken off.
Overall, not too bad. Thanks for making the game
Neat concept. I like the minimalism. It's also creepy. Well done
This game won't run for me. It tells me to install Unity Web Player, which I already have installed. When I try to install, it says I can't install because Chrome is using Unity Web Player. Other Unity games have worked for me so far.
I assume the game goes on forever. If not, I just didn't have the patience to get to the end.
Interesting idea, but I'd like to see more of a beginning, middle, and end.
Good start to a game. There is much to be done though
As usual you make a great game. No complaints here
Cool concept. You went along with the theme well. I'd only recommend you tweak the controls a bit. Feels to slow IMO
Just the way I like my games. Hard as hell.
Cool stuff man. I had fun.
Cool start to a game although it's not quite complete. This could be pretty fun with a bit more work. Nice job
Awesome game. Great music, art, and really simple but fun gameplay. Cool game, one of my favorites so far
@qdowngames The physics in our game could use some tweaking to have a better feel. Thanks for the comment.
@Rose
I will have to go back and add up arrow as a jump. That is an oversight that happened when we switched from SPACE for jump to W. Thanks for pointing that out.
@Nonameghost
Thank you for the compliments. Which controls were off for you? Also, you don't have to wait for a reload. SPACE will always reload as long as you have used at least one orb. Thanks again!
@bleatingheart
Thank you for the kind words. I haven't played that game, but now I might have to check it out.
@Skulls
Wow, that's very nice of you to say. Thanks so much for playing. I'm glad you liked it.
P.S. I have a tendency to make hard games. That's how I like it :-)
@ilovepixel
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing
@Dax
Thanks for playing. We were going for an experience that forces the player to learn on their own instead of having their hand held. I hope it was still fun
@niblegorilla
Thank you very much. We put in the reloading because it forces you to decide how you will use 3 balls instead of an infinite number. I hope you like it!
@devPhil
Thanks for playing man. I had some talented friends helping me with the art and sound. They are awesome
@dek
Thank you kind sir. It was a pleasure to make.
Looks like the controls are a common theme. We'll definitely tweak them a bit if we take the game any further. Thank you to everyone who has been rating and writing comments. You are all awesome
Looks great. Interesting idea
I liked the audio and I liked that it's unique. Good job
Look great and enjoyed experimenting with it.
Clever concept and funny responses. Good job
I had no UI for ammo, health, or anything else. I had a weapon that would recoil and sometimes it seemed to hurt the enemies, but maybe I just ran out of ammo. I also couldn't tell the weapons apart very well.
The concept is definitely unique. Well done
That comment about women not being able to make games might not go over too well.
That title screen is amazing! Good work on the game
Outstanding and clever game. You did an excellent job and I love it.
This game is brilliant. I had a blast playing it and if I didn't have to rate so many other games I would still be playing it.
The aesthetic is absolutely gorgeous, the sound is a perfect fit, and the gameplay is deep and engaging.
Extremely well done. I'm amazed you did something this great in two days.
When I docked on the red planet a pirate started attacking me. He couldn't do any damage but I could do damage to him. After a little while pirates started swarming me and respawning from the planet. I could farm money indefinitely.
Thanks for playing my game Rezoner. I'm not sure if it was a compliment that you had to read the directions :-P
Funny game and well made. Good job
The controls are hard to manage. The game looks good and I like the sounds. Good job
Neat puzzle mechanic.
It felt almost like a multiplayer pvp game which I liked. Neat concept
Interesting concept. It was something you don't see often. I liked the look of the game and it's well made. The only criticisms I can give is that it's very short and very easy. Otherwise, well done
You did a lot of cool stuff using a very simple tool. I've just started tinkering with PuzzleScript myself and I'm impressed at how you used it to make something pretty cool. Well done
It's hard to steer well with those controls. I overshot my mark many times and had to stop to rotate so that I could point the right direction.
I like the aesthetic, simple and nice. Well done
Couldn't run the Linux version. It returns a syntax error in Start.py line 56. I'm running Manjaro Linux
The music and art are great. It also pointed out how poor my short-term memory is haha
The story was excellent and I like what you did with the theme. Well done
The look of the game is great. There were some bugs with enemies being stuck and tossing corpses around after they die. I was also unable to continue playing because I couldn't jump high enough to make it up the stairs. There are some major design flaws, but with some thought and imagination it could be fun.
I've got a black screen in Chrome on Linux. No sound or visuals.
It has potential. The one chain reaction I managed to set off out of 5 shots was pretty cool. It seems like a lot of things were just thrown in. There is a major typo on the main screen, and the buttons were hard to click. Needs work to become a good game
I found quite a few bugs in the game. Holding jump would allow me to avoid gaps and spikes because he'd just keep jumping. Ending the game has a period of time where I can run around and even die, then it goes back to level two. Most of the levels can be completed without using a bullet.
I did like the look of the game and with a bit of bug fixing , polish, and level design, it could be a fun little game.
It felt great playing the game. The music was fitting and it was cool seeing that little car zoom around.
The core mechanic worked great and was easy to pick up. Good game
Thanks for the feedback. There are lots of things I have planned for the game after voting is over. I'm going to keep track of all the advice I get and hopefully improve the game later. Thanks again
This one isn't as good as your last one but I like it. The gameplay is pretty unusual which I like. And, as always, this game is pretty.
The art isn't bad and it seems pretty complete. Not too bad.
The humor in the game is great. You also did an awesome job with animations.
The link gives me a page not found error.
500 internal server error
The art in this game is gorgeous. I really love the look and feel. Pretty good game with great polish.
Once again you manage to win my heart with beautiful art and clever gameplay. This game is very well made. Great job!
Love the polish. The sounds and tweening are so charming
Out freaking standing. Looks and sounds amazing. My only complaint is that the mouse sensitivity is through the roof.
You guys rock
Works well, sounds good. Cool stuff
The game looks so good but won't run in Linux. Also... rar file?
Tried to run the game on Linux. Got through the intro but most things didn't work and the game was unplayable.
Trying to play on Linux. The zip folder only has the executable with no data folder. Maybe try repackaging everything back up again?
I'm using Java 7 and get Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 error. I'm in Arch Linux x64
The animations were pretty cool and the sound/music was awesome.
Thanks everyone so far for checking it out!
I do need to go back and make sure the controls are right. And I've heard from a few people that the guilty should flash more because of difficulty. Thanks for the feedback.
Awesome! This is what I want; just let me loose to go smash everything. ULTRA KILL!
Like others said, pretty high difficulty. My games are usually too hard too haha.
