Extremely awesome entry! The controls feel great. There is tons of polish in the art, animation, audio, and jumping/wall grab controls. This is extremely impressive for 72 hours. Fantastic job!

Woohoo! This is the first Ludum Dare game that I've ever submitted! I worked on this with one other person.
Sorry.. I added controls to the description. Press the escape key to exit the note. Thanks for the feedback!
@sandbaydev Thanks for your feedback! We actually built more traps, such as skeletons that throw bones at you and fire pillars that spin around. There sadly wasn't enough time to include them in a level. The character movement does need to be seriously improved. Thanks for your comment.
This is a really neat puzzle. I got stuck on level 4 and quit. If it was mouse based input and had music/sound then I would seriously play this. Very good job and awesome entry!
Physically based combat FTW! I love it. Great entry!
Great submission. Congrats on completing it. The floaty things are really difficult :)
It was really hard to learn at first. But once I figured it out I really enjoyed the ascii art aesthetic. Solid entry & bonus points for writing your own engine.
I enjoyed playing this! The art was pleasing and consistent. It was easy to understand what the controls were and what was going on. And it was funny! Great job!
Thanks for a great entry. You did a good job creating a very simple & polished mechanic. You did 1 thing and did it really well. The music is very relaxing too. I could definitely see myself playing 30+ levels of this.
Simple, yet elegant. The art and music are very good. The gameplay is a little slow for me. Overall, very well done.
This game is really cool. I really liked the introduction "cutscene" that you made. I feel like I need to play this some more to fully explore everything you put into it. But it's overall a very polished experienced.
I enjoyed your game. It is extremely difficult right from the start. But overall it's a polished experience.
@Bendev Basically there are 5 levels. Once you leave a level, the game simply randomly chooses one of the 5 levels to give you. So it is possible to replay the same level a few times, or get the same level twice in a row. Thanks for playing!
I liked the mixture of platformer/typing game. It also had a lot of good polish and simple details that made it cool.
I love it. I appreciate everything in 1 executable, it makes it simple to run. I also enjoyed the purple and gray border to emulate the PDP-1 console. Very good re-creation of a seminal game from (ancient) history.
I love it. The art/music/dialogue sucked me into the world you created. Although I got stuck after I received the ruby and the flint. I had no idea what to do after that. But thank you for the great entry!
For some reason Chrome is flagging your zip as a potentially dangerous file. I'm kind of afraid to run it.
So I did get it downloaded from itch.io and it all seems good. Your game reminded me of an arcade game like the original donkey kong since you can't jump. It is very well made. Bonus points for coding it yourself with SFML! Thanks for the solid entry.
I enjoyed this entry. It was balanced pretty well (a little on the easy side but good for a short experience). It had a good story (great job on the ending, it concluded well). I only have a few minor critiques: the map could be a little smaller since this game was solely focused on the battles and not exploring, the battles could be a little more challenging, and "leveling up" didn't make much sense (you could just reward the player with new abilities after each battle rather than leveling up). This was a solid entry. Thanks for allowing everyone play it ;)
@JoeProgram Thanks for playing. My goal was to put the focus on optimal tower placement rather than the type of tower of when to upgrade. I don't think it's engaging enough as it stands so I think I will try to add more elements to it for more depth.
@NIGIC Thank you for playing my tower defense. I am continuing to tweak and balance the game so your feedback is invaluable.
If the game does softlock... (i.e. 1/18 remaining without any enemies remaining), you can hit the "x" key to continue without re-starting. That's a bug I need to fix.
@erik the game does need more balancing because you are right, wave 8 is about the maximum that people get to. I agree that it is too difficult. Thank you for playing! Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
@nassi Hello! Thanks for playing. Can you expand your comment, "The graphics are a bit of a mismatch, but they get the job done"?
I would love to know in what way the graphics are a mismatch. It will help me greatly as I expand upon this game. Your feedback is appreciated.
@nassi Ok now I understand. Thanks!
This is a solid entry. It was pretty polished and fun. Thanks for the submission!
Wow... mind blown. The creativity is just astonishing. ___ ^ ___ /TTT > _____
I enjoyed this game. Great job on your submission! My only critique is that the mouse should be hidden so the only aiming device you have is the black circle. Great job!
I enjoyed this puzzle game. It's pretty hard to me, but very well done.
I love economy games. A great entry! Good job!
