LD28 — You Only Get One

Darkest Friday by Cake&Code 2013-12-17T04:23:00

Loving the art style! I wish there was more word variety though.

The Superior Resolution by phaze0 2013-12-19T06:17:00

I seem unable to die. I'd go as far as to say that this game would be perfectly executed if only there were more variation in gameplay. Then again, I can understand working under the limitations of one pixel. Thanks for that outside-of-box experience!

PixelSurgeon by ponk 2013-12-19T18:12:00

Yay for Game of Life! Great concept, I felt scared and panicked the whole time.

Dirt Cheap Dungeon by dalbinblue 2013-12-16T16:55:00

Solid game! Well done on staying true to the theme, it's certainly appropriate. The game rewards me when I've done something right, and whenever I don't feel rewarded, it's my fault. That's a good sign. Engaging, challenging, charming!

Digital Toilet World by Alex Higgins 2013-12-19T06:03:00

This game reminded me of a game I used to play when I was really little. It was called Digimon World; you'd have a Digimon follow you around, and sometimes it had to poop. I loved that game so much. Anyway, nice job! Solid piece of work.

Atop A Dark Mountain by Maple 2013-12-19T18:31:00

I have to admit, the quotes were pretty funny, however irrelevant. Gameplay was solid, good job!

Shadow Night by ParaPup 2013-12-16T05:59:00

I totally got scared of the black ghost. It can only scare me so much though.

Peaceful Greeting by Jilt 2013-12-18T00:20:00

I loved the sort of puzzle-solving in this game! The language is well-designed and had me drawing alien symbols on scrap paper. I felt a bit crazy, like when I was trying to solve puzzles in FEZ.

VELOCITRON by radmars 2013-12-19T18:25:00

Wow, that was the most amazing game I've played all LD! Addictive, beautiful, and not buggy at all! Amazing work.

Loop Desert by Giovanni Cappellotto 2013-12-23T23:37:00

Control of time was the crucial discovery. Once I understood that, I was led on only by the hope that whoever designed this game had left a reward for surviving so long. Lo and behold, my patience was rewarded with water. I enjoyed that initial discovery.

CORPSE EXPLOSION by notajetski 2013-12-16T05:34:00

Innovative idea. Movement scheme could use some smoothing. Great work!

0RBITALIS by AlanZucconi 2013-12-23T03:50:00

Addictive, simple concept. Good job!

parallelsync by 0x0961h 2013-12-16T05:38:00

Good job on the procedural generation! Really cool puzzle idea.

Trick Shot by jayemjee 2013-12-16T05:32:00

Concept of the game is really simplistic and innovative. Satisfying point-gain sound effects, well done!

Clicky Blocks by dstozek 2013-12-16T18:21:00

I like that you took a jab at persistent world multiplayer! It's certainly more fun with friends. My only gripe would be that I wish I could have some indicator which blocks belonged to me, and which I can't interact with.

Medieval Combat by lubos 2013-12-19T21:53:00

Interesting concept. Had trouble controlling troops to a finer extent, but overall a very solid engine and game.

Fishbowl by auto_suggestion 2013-12-18T01:36:00

@McDonaldsWizard Oh, it's more than just a hat ;)

Cellar Rush by Radnen 2013-12-17T23:52:00

Awesome pixelated dark dungeon crawling goodness. Good job!

Gravidude by gnerkus 2013-12-17T23:55:00

Really simple concept! Quite addictive.

Unibrow by ViliX64 2013-12-16T05:53:00

Fun, engaging. Innovative perspective mechanics!

YOGOB by sprawl 2013-12-16T05:55:00

This game could use better explanation of mechanics.

Handle with care by Cawrtz 2013-12-25T08:57:00

Great thinking with the theme! You really do only get one key :( I had a lot of fun playing this game. The level design is plentiful and impeccable. I also made a game involving keys, but it's quite a different concept ;)

Disgruntled Employee by jmcrafty 2013-12-16T06:04:00

Engaging storyline, non-buggy mechanics. Things work well.

The Black Lighthouse by funselektor 2013-12-16T04:28:00

Amazing graphics and mood. The music fit really well with the atmosphere.

Fort Meow by RhysD 2013-12-18T00:02:00

This looks like a major success! The polish is unbelievable in such a short period of time. Features a really nice, innovative control scheme for placing objects. How can anyone not love the game concept!?

You Only Get One Nap by Gtoknu 2013-12-16T05:43:00

Really cute game. Love the level design and concept. The platforming mechanics could use some work, but this is impressive in the amount of time that you had.

Cmdr. Yogo by rnlf 2013-12-19T05:53:00

End-of-round dialogue got a bit monotonous, but otherwise a very unique and addictive game! Great work :)

Touch by WhoaConstrictor 2013-12-19T21:47:00

Extremely touching, and I don't mean to make a pun. It was especially wonderful when I saw the beautiful crisscrossing blue and white paths that I created myself.

DISTANT WORLD FOR THE BOTH OF US by Cell 2013-12-16T18:26:00

Art is amazing, as usual. Really liked the shooting effects. Unfortunately a fatal bug prevented me from getting too far.

Nero Is Falling by LeafThief 2013-12-17T23:46:00

I had a vague idea that I was trying to find out which crew member was lying about whether or not they contributed to some crash. I wish I knew what to do, though! It seemed like a lot of effort was put into the mood. Very spacey. Liked the mood a lot.

TITAN SOULS by Claw 2013-12-27T20:33:00

Amazing art and world. Very immersive and cohesive. Engine was solid, of course.

Monocraft by MaTX 2013-12-21T02:42:00

Solid controls, awesome music, fun concept!

Seven Eagles, One Lantern by MadcoreTom 2013-12-19T18:21:00

Great puzzle premise! Amazing graphics, music, mood. Never did I feel frustrated, but rather motivated to continue looking for more golden eagles. You nailed the difficulty level! It was both fun and challenging.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Matters of Perspective by nesis 2014-08-24T08:14:00

This was really neat! I love that you are using change in perspective as a puzzle mechanic, that just tickles my brain-fuzz. I know this may be a difficult thing to ask, but I would love it if the puzzles were designed in a way that could make the player think very hard about whether or not to hit 'e' (e.g. negative consequence for hitting 'e' at the wrong place)

LD33 — You are the Monster

Mr. Yeti's Fast Food by Balzaque 2015-08-26T06:45:00

This is an amazing jam game and an amazing game in its own right! The difficulty level is perfect. The mechanics are SOLID. As game-makers, we understand how difficult it is to nail these things, and by golly you nailed this one. Also, the art is hilarious and cute.

You are the Hero by rotpar 2015-08-26T06:34:00

I'm really impressed at how well you balanced the difficulty of each room. The game really pushed me to explore the extent of my in-game abilities (jump height, shooting). It wasn't mindless; parts of it definitely made me think "wait a minute.." while I was thinking of a better way to approach the situation.
