Interesting way of developing a story.
Brilliant!
Incredibly atmosphere! Love the graphics. You must develop this game!
different of all I've played until today, but a bit boring.
Love the pixel art but really difficult to play.
Me too. Like the point and clicks, nice graphics but I'm stuck to solve the puzzle,
Great graphics, great animations and amazing soundtrack! But I think you must improve the movement mechanics.
Very fun! but Sigur Ros as a background music here is kind of weird ;-)
Nice job! But I would have preferred to control a less polygonal character :-)
Hard to play alone ;-) Anyway, cool concept!
Pretty nice graphics and audio though is hard to understand the gameplay.
Terrific! I love it!
Very slooooow. Nice background and parallax effect, but the characters are too small to see its details. Take care of the tipography
Thanks for your feedbacks. I know that there is no ending or a clear goal to reach. That is my fault after I see that I could not find any good solution. In fact the general idea was to make a game from the point of view of someone similar to Slender, someone who just killed another that was searching the eight pages on a forest. I'm really happy with the result (is my first game) and probably I will try to develop the plot and, of course, think a good end.
And yeah, I admire so much the work of Terry Cavanagh :-)
csanyk: Thanks for the tip! I'll do as soon I finish at work :-)
feili: I'll take this holidays to improve the story, add NPC characters, create more rooms (based in a new idea I'll share in the postmortem post) and, yeah!, design an ending.
csanyk done! https://github.com/xbelanch/LD48/blob/master/ld48.gmz
I said it before: there's no plot or end (am I a villain for create a game without an end? :-)
@Beerman thanks! it's my first game so it's great hear this
@Dark Acre Jack: I know it's not a "finished game" and I said before a few times it has a lot of flaws and lack of an ending. To be honest it was more important for me to make my first game than not to win the competition.
PS: Have you been before in Barcelona? We have a great thunder storms every weekend ;-)
Love it! but the first thing I did is jump outside the map :-) to see a single square on black background.
hard to understand what I have to do.
I like the concept of the game but I miss a better graphic artwork.
doesn't work for me :-/ and I can't update to java 7 on this laptop. Sorry.
Damn! I Feel ashamed! Still I can't figure out the idea of the game play. On the other hand, I like so much the graphic visualization and sound.
Excellent!
Really strange game but funny!
Classical tower defense :) but bunnies instead of creepers. I Don't like the graphic work of the bunny (from top is hard to recognize) and the clown is still visually friendly if you're afraid of them.
Love the concept and pretty nice graphics. Nice work!
the gameplay reminds me a bit this: http://twinbeardstudios.com/230_huggy-bear :-)
Very amotspheric game. Pretty nice!. On the same line of those: http://christianhuberts.blogspot.com.es/2012/08/betweenworlds-list-of-atmospheric-games.html
Love the idea, but seems that the characters walk a bit slowly, isn't?
Pretty nice and good atmospheric sounds.
Really funny to hear the kitten's meaow. On the other hand, you give me an idea for another LD game: you're the first nuclear bomb that has dropped from the Enola Gay.
Love music!
I think it's an error to think that everyone have installed the Ruby interpreter and the rubygems library. I love Ruby but it's a bad choice for this kind of competitions
Love the silent old movie look, but it's really bad there's no audio or sound effect.
Awesome! a really helpful demo to convince of learning of WebGL.
Astonishing! love the concept of a game inside the game!
Good job! Like so much how you've played with Pathfinding concept!
Works on OSX! I noticed that the text dialogues sometimes are blended each other. Overall, it's a good game.
Really good job but I had preferred to see a noise filter applied on the low mesh landscape.
Agh! the controls are driving me mad! Good ambience: reminds me a bit the 2001 a Space Odyssey movie
Nice job man. I love the idea, but it's a bit mess and confusing the change of the size of the objects. Anyway, it's a great game that will be nice to see a later development.
I can't play it. :( on Lion :(

Can be a good game (everyone here can't be wrong) but I'm stuck with the game play (perhaps I'm too impatient)
Yeah, nice graphics and sounds though the gameplay is a bit odd.
nice funny graphics and pretty audio effects. Probably it needs a better screen menu ;-)
Just a classic, but slooooow!
Me too: Server is down or not connecting.
Potentially could be great game, but for now it seems unplayable.
Yeah, I love raycaster games!
Nice graphics and pretty awesome ambience. Have ever you played Kairo?
Interesting concept but it needs a good help or clear instructions to play it. I'm agree with Justin Kibbe: could be a solid game in a future.
Hilarious! especially when you see the cop that runs towards Santa!
I love the retro game style!
Good job! nice graphics and music background.
Nice playing and like the graphics artwork. Great music. Only the color palette is a bit low.
Like the concept and sad it isn't finished.
Nice graphics. Pure fun platform. Only I've found the jump a bit faster.
Like the graphics style.
Movement so slooooooow.....! that my patience has run out. Please, can you fix it?
Love it... reminds me a bunch of classics (Jet Set Willy, VVVVVV...) btw I caught a typo "Assmbly"?
Hahaha... wait wait, has Jonathan Blow played and rated it? Superb!
Nice idea. Only I would change the typography: it's annoying me! :)
Web version doesn't work for me :(
Thanks! playing at the first time with PuzzleScript was a bit difficult at the beginning, but after all it allows to you stay focused on the design of the puzzles instead of libraries, debugging, mistakes...
Thanks goerp for your feedbacks :) I saw you made a new version where you increased the movement speed. I played it again and runs better for me than the first version. The undo in your game needs to be improved I guess. Your game is pretty well done (I love the concept) and I think you will give iit a little bit more of development (new graphics, backgrounds, better animation cycle)
Haha... You right! there's some buggies on the game and I'm sure is my fault nor PuzzleScript :)
Yep! it was made with PuzzleScript. I recommend it!
I like the way the player kills zombies :) and remove blocks from the terrain
Very very good! Love it!
A funny game but I missed a pointer to shoot with more precision. Love the narrator's voice :)
Pretty good game. I love the graphics and the day-night cycle. Very inspiring!
Glitch, glitch, please, more glitch!!!!
Love sound and retro-style-graphics, but the jumping action needs to be improved.
I love the concept of solve the puzzles by colors. It can be a good starting point to make something much elaborated. On the other hand the controls are, as others said before, a bit wonky.
I love this kinda of games. Superb!
Reset please? :D
Very good and disturbing job :)
Great job! Awesome graphics and atmosphere.
Love your games...! as usual!
Comic sans? :O I'm speechless :)
Love sound and retro-style graphics. Source missed?
I love the idea, but it would be better with another graphics (like an old and creepy soviet terminal). Some physics are missing I guess :?
Nice art work but I'm agree with Bruno Massa ;)
I think I lost myself at the age of 13 :-/
Inspiring game. Missed a fast movement and sfx ;)
Good atmosphere! I love the graphics!
Pretty nice graphics. After playing three times I feel a bit frustrated because the "e" key to turn around the player's point of view. Perhaps, instead of a turn-based, it would be better a free movement approach... for me :)
Enter key saves my day :)
Pretty nice! Love it
