LD18 — Enemies as Weapons

The Robots and I by PaulSB 2010-08-24T19:12:00

Pretty solid game. I like that the hacking is really just a portion of the gameplay, there's a lot of AI management and pushing around because once you hack a robot, you can't re-place them. Reminds me of messing around with NPCs from old RPG games.

I <3 Tractor Beams by drakfyre 2010-08-23T10:18:00

If you never use the beam you'll never get any points. (Okay, you'll get a few when enemies start spawning on top of eachother, but you won't beat someone who is actively using the tractor beam to kill enemies). And yeah, I haven't gotten my PC port working yet. I will be doing that tonight after work.

Windows version is now available!

Cat Splat! by masterhyjinx 2010-08-24T10:45:00

Love it! You can rack up the score if you get a lot of cats in one area, but then you also risk getting PUMMELED by yarn balls!

Mind Control Monster Mash by Alistair Aitcheson 2010-08-24T19:16:00

I don't think I am very good at this game, a lot to manage, and I tend to keep scrolling the screen when I want to click the Mind Control button. Would be nice if it was based on left click/right click or something.

Camma The Huntress by Scramasax 2010-08-24T10:48:00

I like the auto targeting and how the enemies fly around like hockey pucks when you hit them.

LD21 — Escape

Prison of Air by drakfyre 2011-08-23T05:13:00

Yeah, it needed more progression and more love; as I said, spent a good deal of time just getting the ropes; I downloaded Unity at about 10PM PST on Friday and had never used it before. Thanks for playing, and I'll pass along your praise of the music!

LD24 — Evolution

Cubic Evolution by drakfyre 2012-08-27T04:37:00

I can't seem to edit this entry, I want to add a Time Lapse link and a few other builds. Time lapse is here in the mean time: http://youtu.be/pXGSwYUbuRY (Still uploading at the moment, but should be done in about 20 mins)

Cubic Evolution by drakfyre 2012-08-27T18:53:00

Added links to source, a timelapse, and some coverage from my show Cooking With Unity I did during the competition.

The SuperBugs by Josh @ Dreamland 2012-09-01T21:36:00

I very much enjoyed this game, played it to completion. Great entry!

LD25 — You are the Villain

Goblin Fortress by AtkinsSJ 2012-12-17T11:25:00

Nice work, love the sprite work! Reminds me of the good ol' days of warcraft!

The Twist by amassingham 2012-12-17T11:08:00

Fun game! Did you compose the music?

Missile Bombardment by MagmaLemur 2012-12-18T03:38:00

Good entry Phil!

The Corrupt by LordHellMaX 2012-12-18T03:29:00

I actually really like this entry. The user interface has some elements that aren't exactly perfect but a few extra clicks isn't going to kill anyone. :)

Like a Boss by drakfyre 2012-12-17T10:07:00

Thank you both. @amassingham Actually, at one point the spiders could do that; I should've probably kept it. The world they exist in IS contiguous; I just preferred to delete them when they were off screen for managing the entity lifetimes rather than just having them disappear after a time.

Like a Boss by drakfyre 2012-12-18T01:34:00

@Prulucid Yay, someone noticed! (A lot of quips are random and so you may or may not hear the few throwback quotes I've got in there.)

@CptBubbles Honestly, that got me thinking about the nature of being a boss; that's part of the reason that you actually LOWER the drawbridge for the hero. I really wanted more rooms though.

Onus by iximeow 2012-12-17T11:38:00

Crashes on load for me. :(

Anta Gogen by Vic 2012-12-17T10:03:00

Love the look and animations! A lot of personality for your zombies and humans in very few polygons! :)

Anta Gogen by Vic 2012-12-25T11:19:00

Would love it if you included your whole Unity project in the source, though that's not a stipulation for your entry obviously; I just like to see people's projects! :) (I share my own of course too)

Zombie Commander by Blinked 2012-12-17T11:23:00

Good entry!

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Little Drop by masterhyjinx 2014-08-26T22:04:00

Wow! Great job, loved that! Great art and level design. Was surprised by the additional mechanic introduced in the second level. Very fun!

Any Moment by Jakub Koziol 2014-08-25T23:36:00

Wow. Powerful. Easily my favorite entry yet. I really appreciate you too!

AIlocation by Ping78 2014-08-27T01:14:00

Very nice entry! Brutal platforming near the top there! ;D

Human and Alien by BoskoSokolov 2014-08-25T03:13:00

Solid game; it didn't complete the level for me when I got both players to the exit on either level though. Good entry!

IRMCO Space Miners by Josh H 2014-08-25T18:53:00

Wow, this is a really great entry. I am impressed at the depth of the game. Great tutorial too, that's often overlooked on projects!

Great game man, reached the end!

May do a low-score run at some point; I did a lot of switching at the beginning to try and figure how things were connected. If there was a pattern I failed to recognize it. Favorite thing? I loved that there was a switch that turned off the sticky. Wasn't expecting that. ;)
