One-way Ticket To Space Train by Macroz 2012-04-23T05:44:00
Thanks for the comments. I'll be on vacation next month so I'll keep working on the leftover ideas then, as well as tune the gameplay. The mystery feeling is definitely something I wanted.

Thanks, I'll look into that sound problem when I get to do some of my own sound effects and music.
My plan was to make the game winnable as soon as possible and then keep it going. The mechanics took most of the first day and then I just kept adding stuff as much as I had time for. Now I'm trying to clean it up a bit so I can add more :)
Really nice! Reminds me of Limbo.
It was easy and was first difficult to see where you have won the area but worked still. Next add some more complex mechanics :)
Pacing could always be better, I agree. There's a bunch of different "waves" to see but depends on randomness and screen size too.
Threre's just not enough time to do everything :-) also need a fast setup so it's not too slow. Unfortunately so with JavaScript.
Thanks for the suggestions. I agree it would work better if there were more fast paced stages in the gameplay and I intend to do just that. It is using a fixed update loop already. I'm not sure why the max velocity of the objects is so limited even though there should be no limit in place. I have to look at it later. Might be a bug in the physics engine that I'm using or me using it wrong.
Also I need to profile it in again. Earlier when I did it in Chrome I noticed that it was idling for 30% of time still so not sure what the problem is.
I like the style but perhaps there could be some progression. The gameplay is more or less aimless wandering? What about an end?
Well done! Had no problems running the game and getting to the end (was slow though).
Very nice and super smooth!
Graphics need work and the second to last room was a bit long, but otherwise good start!
Great minigame, loved the comments and the look of it.
Great! Simple and clean! I have sort of the same idea (avoiding obstacles) but very different result :)
Enjoyed it! Reminds me of my earlier games :)
Nice job! A little bit difficult start.
Good job! There was a very good mood in the game and the graphics fit it. There was also some mystery. I would have liked diagonal movement. And perhaps interesting fights :)
Well done! I felt like hte beginning in the dark level was best mood and graphics. Weirdness was good. Crashed my Mac on quit. Also the .sh didn't work but running manually the exact same command worked.
Nice game! I would change it a bit less colorful to be more minimalistic but anyway it's a fun game that feels right.
Good game. Though, based on the intro I expected something that looks like a ship :) Also the weapon seems useless at the moment.
I tested with my Android phone and it seems touchscreen doesn't quite work. If you can't pass the first level, try a desktop browser to see if it makes a difference.
I'll see later if I can patch the game to work at least on the tablets (it would be quite difficult to play with small screen size).
Maybe you should come up with more things to do in each scene? Seems like they mostly fly past.
The intro was awesome but I feel the game didn't live up to it. I feel like they don't quite belong together.
Novel idea and good mood. Also liked the security camera like looks. You should finish it :)
Good mood. The controls were a bit difficult, mousing a bit too fast. Also needs a bit more stuff still to make it a game.
With some tuning you could get a good game out of this!
Well done! The character got stuck a bit too easy and enemies damage you without actually touching. Pretty well polished otherwise.
Good idea!
I think the starting from all the way in the beginning is annoying. But there is some potential there :)
Put the aliens in :)
Weird but nice visuals. The controls could use a bit of improvement but I see you already improved some for the post-jam version.
I liked the style!
Good game! Reminds me of a game from LD26 where the sounds were lines instead of circles. I like the shooting mechanic which that game lacked.
With more work and tuning you could make it into a nice game!
Controls, physics and speed could use some tuning but well done!
