In case anyone else has the same problem as kristoffer, I've uploaded a version without the source files in case something there was causing the problem. Can't think of anything else to do as I know nothing about such things.

Fascinating idea. Bookmarked your webpage to explore further.
Very nice. Fun once you start to get the hang of it. Definitely one I'll come back to. Bit much when the first room has too many enemies.
I died? To a headless chicken? For that, I salute you. Nice basic concept.
A good start but needs more variety.
Pleasingly bonkers. Liked the graphics and the sound. No way to save?
Nice work. It all comes together to create a good atmosphere.
More feedback about results of choices would be nice. Does feel a little too random otherwise.
Nice graphics. Controls need some tweaking. Theme?
Very nice jam game. With a little retheming I could see this working well as an educational but fun game for kids on touchscreen devices.
Like the tone. Worth developing further. Shapeshifting choices could work well in a game of this sort.
Played it for quite a while and I'll definately be playing it more. Very impressive within the timescale. Really like it. Liked the art and sounds too. Only thing was I couldn't really see the jam theme?
Very good. Happiness decreases just a bit too fast?
Utter filth.
Like it. Can see myself playing more although I am rubbish at such games. Started getting better when I figured out you need to dance around the big guys. Liked the graphics, intrigued to know what they would have been like without the data loss you mentioned. Sound needs work - music maybe?
Like the graphics and sound. Liked the mechanic. Separately. Just didn't work together for me. Very hard. How about a hint about keys on screen that can be toggled off when player is comfortable to do so?
Can't run it. Win32. Missing love.dll. Need to include it with your game or at least tell people where to find it. Like the images :)
Same comments as from others - really nice work on the graphics but randomness on its own just doesn't make for engaging gameplay. Also sound would be good.
Excellent. Hard. You didn't want sound?
Couldn't run. Error message: The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings.
Liked the gameplay. Will actually play this one more. Liked the music but some of the sounds got a bit wearing. Didn't take to the character sprites - they just didn't fit with the game for me.
A bit baffling. Needs more explanation. Couldn't see what the dog's 'actions' achieved. Random spawning on top of dog annoying. But I did keep playing and trying to figure out what was going on because I liked the feel of game. And I liked the sound. Did crash a few times using v1.1 on Windows 7 32-bit. From log file:

Fascinating experiment. Would be interested to see this developed further.
Really, really good. And funny. Remarkable to have made this in such a short time. I got elected - by being a totally unprincipled arse ... oh wait ... ah I see what you ...
Too hard. Maybe varied difficulty for a baby like me? :) Really would be improved with addition of sound.
I enjoyed this. Fun. Liked the graphics. Probably a bit too easy - I'm pretty bad at reflex based games and I beat it fairly easily. I honestly think it would be worth developing further - more enemy types would be good.
Silly fun. Maybe some sort of scoring screen? The audio made me laugh.
Nice work. Interesting take on the theme. I like the control scheme - once you get the hang of it. Like the graphics too. Some more variety and I could see this being a popular game.
Sorry to be dense but I can't figure out how or where to write the symbols. Please explain the mechanics a bit more clearly. Also if you accidentally drop an item on the book it knocks it out of view. I'm bothering to comment because I really like the idea and look of the game and I want to be able to play it properly.
Okay. I get it now. I had fun. I was terrible at it, the clumsiest shaman in the village's history. I think I'll be coming back to this and playing it again - which is not something you think often when playing games made in short gamejams. I can see that it is a game where you would get better over time. I suppose it's somewhat akin to a game such as Surgeon Simulator or Octodad? With some variety in the gameplay I could imagine this being popular. Only annoyance is the problem I mentioned with the book disappearing. Fun game - thanks for making it.
Really enjoyed this. Everything about it appealed to me. At first I thought I hated the sound but that grew on me too as I played. I'd really like to see this one expanded into a bigger game.
One thing. For if you are thinking of taking it further. I don't like the title. Loved the game but not the title.
Maybe something like junior, beginner, intern, trainee, apprentice, journeyman, etc. in the title? E.g. 'Cult Intern', 'Apprenticed to the Cult', 'Sacrifice for Beginners'. I don't know, it may just be me; other people may like the current title.
Spent so long listening to music on title screen ran out of time to play game - sorry. No, I did play. Impressive achievement in such a short time. Agree that the whirwind is overpowered. Some instructions needed.
Definitely one of my favourites so far. Really nice graphics. Gameplay was good. My only issue was the maze minigame. I can see why you added the minigames but this one didn't work for me. It distracted from the main game more than the sanity clicker one, distracting in a way that lessened the immersion. But overall really nice.
Nice work. A very complete and polished game in a short time. Clever take on the theme. Was I imagining it or were the words and phrases more negative if you got too sleepy?
Very nice. The most polished game I've played so far; a lot to achieve in a short time. Really liked the graphics.
Nice. Relaxing. Maybe some collectable items scattered about - more points the closer the item is to spikes, that sort of thing. Liked the music.
@Luther-1: Thanks for taking the time to play and comment. I think your criticisms are entirely justified. And helpful. As I was learning Unity at the same time as making the game, I did not give enough time to ensuring that the gameplay was better balanced and more fun. The time available was just not enough for me to do much more than make the thing actually work given my inexperience. Thanks too for the encouraging words at the end of your comments.
