Cool SFX, sensible controls. Well done!.

Having your resources between enemies makes a really nice twist. The storm 1 spell is just really obnoxious so I almost always skipped it (one time I used it to kill 2 sheeps and miss 2 out of 3 enemies).

cool idea, different mechanics and good use of them. but at the beginning i didn't understand sacrifice mechanic. on second play i got it. good game

ha this was very fun! I loved the risk-reward of the storm spell that leaves you wi thout sheep. Excellent work :D

agwblack 2018-12-06 20:35

I enjoyed this, it took me a little while to figure out how to play properly. found it quite tough. Unfortunately I didn't have the willpower to see it through to 42 sheep, does something happen? Good job, especially on sound design :-)

Nice game! The music, sound effects and colors really set the mood. The bats were a bit hard to see and also hard to kill. It took me a little while to figure out the mechanics, but then I enjoyed playing the game! Congrats :)

Nice work. Interesting take on the theme. I like the control scheme - once you get the hang of it. Like the graphics too. Some more variety and I could see this being a popular game.

Controls take a while to get the hang of, but once you're past that it's good fun! Played for a solid 10 mins but died waaaay too much :)

tymus 2018-12-08 23:04

Nice concept and execution! I appreciate the fact that you can continue when you die, I wouldn't have finished it without this

Some background music would have been cool but otherwise it's a solid entry :D

Nice idea, but I found the controls to be very difficult and some of the tutorial is a bit confusing. Since the concept is original, I enjoyed it after a while, but I think the tutorial should be more clear and perhaps the controls should be on screen during gameplay.

nathanhoad 2018-12-09 04:18

Haha that was fun - I played it for longer than I'd like to admit :-P

toulou 2018-12-09 17:39

It's quite original and very weird, I like it ! The controls are a bit hard to understand, but that's definitely what make this game stand out. It's far from perfect but it's definitely original and worth playing, good job.

Funny idea and good work! I didn't get at first that you actually don't need to kill just everyone :) And I like how spells are filled in random positions, so you always need to double-check where and what to use. Unfortunately, I use Chrome, and didn't have any sounds.

Interesting idea. I played in browser and the screen was not fitting well. I loved that you put a screen to change the controls! Nice Job!

dining-philosopher 2018-12-14 21:06

@lucecyl Thanks for playing! In a browser you can adjust the size with ctrl+ and ctrl- I didn't have time to figure out handling multiple resolutions in Godot yet, hopefully next time :-)

Nice game! It was pretty fun, and the mechanics are pretty well made! I liked how you incorporated the theme into the gameplay. I think the game could use a slight bit more polish around the visuals and around the general feel of the game, but the core gameplay is there. Well done!
