Wow! Great graphics and sound! Thumbs up for the message too! Amazing job!

Wow! Great graphics and sound! Thumbs up for the message too! Amazing job!
Really cool game! Two suggestions:
- Remove the countdown before the start, or at least give the player option to start earlier and skip the waiting. Otherwise you're forcing him to cool off in a fast-paced game.
- Put somewhere in the levels a special "reward" which may remove the deadline, and give the player access to the whole level. I read some people want to explore everything.
@Orni:
I'm glad you liked the suggestion. Will you do a post-jam version with updates?
And yes of course, I'll be happy if I can help you with feedback on your games, so please do contact me.
We may exchange contacts now if you wish?
How may one contact another trough this website anyway? Private messages or something?
Great! A bit difficult for my brain! :)))
Really nice game! Great graphics, cool sound and atmosphere! Amazing work! Definitely waiting for more levels and post-jam version!
One suggestion:
- add more queens! :) and the trolls to be confused which one to obey!
"Do this, do that... Argh! A troll needs less queens, less sunlight, less jumpin' and more food!" :)
Pretty nice game! Congratulations! :)
Great idea! Excellent execution! Congratulations!
I am running OS X 10.8.4, Retina. When I double-click the app nothing happens :( There is nothing even in the Activity Monitor. Any idea?
Genius concept! Hilarious sound effects! Congratulations! :D
I love the controls but I do not like that I need to bump into walls. If it was endless run in one direction I think ill like it more. With some way to glide for example. Solid work overall! Great game! Seems finished!
Nice game! :)
Cool idea and great job! Like JimMakesGames, I used the feed frequently but for very short periods of time.
Nice one! More feedback and tutorial explanations could be useful. I died several times without knowing the cause, which I understood eventually, but it was a bit frustrating.
Great idea though! The blackouts and the flashing creates an atmosphere one can dive in. Only the sound was missing to make the flow :) Keep up the good work and of course make a post-compo version!
I loved it. Actually if you get some more decent art this game with it's mood could become a greate complete game! I love the mood with the little messages and music!
The ever changing and shifting world...
Great work for 48h comp!
I am not sure how it works but I guess we cannot add tutorial post competition? We are definitely adding a good tutorial! This is something we really wanted but we struggled with all kind of little game glitches during the jam. After judging we will add updated version link to be fair.
Hey guys - we had exactly the same idea , but we dropped it in favor of the one we released! It's nice to see someone else thought about it too, and check his vision about it! :)
I love the idea of stopping time while everything else goes to hell! Love the theme and the mood of the game!
The graphics are great. Music is nice and sounds. I love the heroine!
I like the idea that you cannot go back but I do not know why? I kinda did not understand the fiction. If there was just a title screen explaining a bit about the game. To set you in the mood of the world.
Great nifty game! I bet it can be turned into a full fledged one. Did you make the music?
Great game! Incredibly polished! Unbelievable for a weekends work!
Please add a way to skip the 10s timer after both players are ready.
I love the athmosphere. Actually the 10 seconds theme is not giving justice to this game. It can become much slower and creepier! Good job!
Survived! :D Pretty fun game! Nice graphics and sound! Congratulations!
Great fun game! Just make it full screen! When you want to fling the pixel with higher angle you cannot see your last shot!
Hey Mark, terrific game mate! Congratulations for putting this whole thing together in 3 days!
I've really enjoyed it. I've never played Gauntlet, but I think I'll do if it's anything like your game!
Some suggestions:
- Put mute sound button there. I wanted to keep it running in the background, but not being able to stop the sounds prevented me from doing that.
- Put "restart level" button too.
And a bug report:
On the second stage, at the center near the key, the monsters killed 3 of the heroes, then suddenly instead of pursuing the 4th one, they've just continued on the vector they've chosen to move before that. They've continued to move across walls and off the sceen, as if collision stopped working. Check the screenshot:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8311249/adventurecompany_bug.jpg
After that, no other monsters have been spawned.
Please continue developing this title! With better graphics it'll be real gem!
Really good game! Deserves all the attention it gets! :)
Great humor, mood and script! For a first game - you definitely should be proud!
Hey @Dominik,
Please restart the experiment!
I know your idea was to have final death of the game, and never to be playable again. That puts precious value in it and on the "click to keep alive" button.
But consider this: the world didn't knew about your experiment! And obviously you put it on a weak server, with no preparation for huge amount of traffic!
A few suggestions what you may do now:
1. Explain the resurrection somehow: parallel universe, you found another space accident, etc.
2. Make thorough server preparation for insane amounts of traffic. Put it on a cloud, tier 1 servers, backbone. Prepare for insane results.
3. Contact the press BEFORE you launch! Set a date of the launch so everyone in the world know they should keep her alive! :)
4. Give time to the people. Tell the world like 1 month or something before you launch. Let them make communities around it :)
5. Use the power of the message for lightening people's conscience. Put some links around it with topics like Euthanasia, sustaining human life, organ donation, various medical conditions etc.
6. Make "resurrect her" website - where you'll count how many people press "resurrect" button, just to see how much is the attention to your project. I bet it'll be huge!
7. Make instances of it - depending on the people online, find other astronauts to be kept alive (or another theme more suitable for instances). So when you get in the website you may see "100 people kept alive" and you go to the "least attended one".
8. Put some numbers feedback for the keepers (players) to see how many of them are there.
Of course you may just ignore all of it and say "it was meant to be final". But I think you've find out great social phenomenon, and it would be a shame to not have larger reach.
Really nice game. I would very much like to see it finished and polished. Keep up the good work!
Amazing and really funny! :) I don't know how you've managed to do so much in so little time! (Bow)!!!
Incredible job! The best game I've seen so far...
It crashed with this error: "[error] dev->CreateTexture2d(&tdesc, nullptr, &tex)@src\ld_d3d11.cpp:1799 failed with error 0x80070057 (The parameter is incorrect.)E_INVALIDARG: An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function"
I've send a crash report. I'm running a 32 bit Windows.
So sorry I couldn't play your game :(
Great puzzle game! Reminded me of "Fling". You should release it for mobile! :)
But it's true that the last levels are actually easier than the first ones.
Really hard but still cool!
This game is incredible! Making all this in just 2 days! Thank you! I hope someday Ill be able to create a full game like this one for just 48h :)
Like ratking said, fewer options for attacks and gradually increasing over battles would be nice. This way you may learn how to use them precisely.
Thumbs up for the voice acting and the twist at the end :D
