For some reason it's very laggy on my system. Great graphics. I think the game could be improved a lot. It looks really nice.

hyoga-3d 2014-08-25 17:59

Graphics very nice, good game.

tomker 2014-08-25 18:33

Awesome graphics and nice concept.

primaerfunktion 2014-08-26 17:40

Really liked this. Especially the visuals. Good work!

Good game but why the box can block my attack!!! and i didnt actually get the theme in it.good job anyway

Jeremias 2014-08-29 16:53

@LexGear: ;(
@Rehacked: The worlds of the players are connected. If you die, your corpse appear in other players' worlds.

Thank you all for your feedback and nice comments!

Awesome game, Steven! I love the art style and color scheme. To prevent the need of the user to download the XNA framework, you might consider using an Inno Setup script to include the dependencies.

Jeremias 2014-08-29 18:46

@NeonBear: Thanks for the comment! Respective the installer: I try to keep download sizes as small as possible, I don't like installing game jam games (while I know I could just add the redistributables). Anyway, I'm thinking about a better solution. Again, thanks.

nooner-bear 2014-08-29 19:54

To all the dead people I have looted... many thanks. Your bones have been put to good use.

nikb 2014-08-29 20:00

Fun & challenging! Love that minimalism in numbers and roguelikish "so-easy-to-die" mood.

Upgrading speed doesn't seem to give you any extra moves though. And is there a way to enter those first-area rooms?..

Jeremias 2014-08-29 20:08

@NikB: yes, that's a last-minute bug I made and which I fixed in the post-compo version. And yes, you can enter these rooms with a lever on the right (follow the right corridor).

sanguine 2014-08-29 21:04

Haha, pretty similar to my game in the way the worlds are connected. Almost the same tech as well :) Nice graphics, the game was quite difficult though.

androniq 2014-08-29 22:43

I could play this all night. Damn, I've got work in the morning. Good show.

iamspencer 2014-08-30 00:22

This is a very good game which I'll be playing again many times. It has some nice 'depth' to it, great job! :)

rehacked 2014-08-30 05:23

Hi steven .now that you said that game seems much better to me although i actually didnt get that in game. i suggest you that show it to player in game for example see how dark souls series do it. when you die there will be a sign that shows your death and also signs for other players.I liked the game and idea a lot and hope you many good rates! Good job.

stevesalmond 2014-08-30 06:05

Extremely addictive. Well done! :)

Jeremias 2014-08-30 08:27

Thank you all for the nice comments!

@Rehacked: You are right. I just had no time left :D

zathnic 2014-08-31 13:29

Wow, this is awesome! I love the sense of progression, especially with the number of turns, and the graphics are great too. I've never been able to get into turn-based games much, but somehow this one has a really cool feel to it!

zathnic 2014-08-31 13:31

It would be nice if the game was saved, though...

Jeremias 2014-08-31 15:35

Thanks for the feedback Zathnic. Yes, I started implementing saving and... sometimes... it saves. I just had no time to fix this. Sorry :(

zerkruemler 2014-09-01 20:13

A little bit of instruction would be nice. But the game is interesting enough to find the details out on your own. I think there is a but with the additional feet(more moves). More moves are shown, but you can use them only at the start. All following rounds refill only to 3.
Fun game Thank you. Some kind of sould would be nice.

Jeremias 2014-09-01 21:19

@Zerkruemler: Yes, there is a bug preventing from getting full moves, which I fixed in the post-compo version. Thank you for your feedback!

spotco 2014-09-02 03:36

Starts off pretty slow (annoying to need to wait for the enemy turn), but is actually pretty addicting (in a "Dark Souls" kind of way). I wanted to keep playing just to see what was around the corner (and since I had already invested so much time + exp into my skills...)

snicklodocus 2014-09-04 22:23

Great use of the theme. Solid mechanics although it's a little slow paced at the beginning. Loved the graphics. I have a soft spot for XNA games so it's good to see one, although downloading dependencies will turn many off. Great job!

crowbeak 2014-09-06 05:13

I'm confused about why I only get one turn with a fourth point of movement when I upgrade movement and I feel like there's a little too much grinding, but overall I really like this entry.

Jeremias 2014-09-06 17:01

@Crowbeak: Hey! The movement issue is a bug which I fixed in the post-compo version. Thank you for the feedback! :)

bluesky 2014-09-07 16:38

this game is awesome. Really nice done!

zeppelincaptain 2014-09-07 16:43

This is impressingly well polished. Except for the fact that it took a long time in the beginning before I could get anywhere, the skill system felt really nice, and the movement system also felt well thought out. Great job!
Could use some music though ;) check out abundant-music.com, it could have made some fitting music, and it takes maximum an hour (much less, if you know how to use it well) to generate something useful.

Jeremias 2014-09-07 17:02

@bluesky: Thank you for the nice comment!

@ZeppelinCaptain: Normally I try to use BoscaCeoil, but I will check out your suggestion! Thanks!

ragepaint 2014-09-13 21:21

That boulder :( Nice game though, I liked the simple and clean look of it. The upgrades weren't very noticeable though.

jprogman 2014-09-13 21:42

Great graphics.
