I think the control mapping might have been more friendly if it didn't force you to always be going diagonally.. tough on the keyboard.

Great job. Cool idea, simple to play, and fun!
Nice use of the wavy effect, and cool sound!
Great music.. the controls could use some tightening up though. maybe less mouse sensitivity
nice twist on the bubble bobble type games. Pretty neat
If I could give 6 stars on theme interpretation, I would. Great job
Nice work. Pretty tough.. but I guess that's part of the challenge. I died, like thousands of others.
for some reason, clicking the mouse on the web version freezes everything. Looks nice though.
The E key didn't work for me, to get past lvl 1
I guess I should have taken it out of the instructions, since weapon firing didn't make it into version 1 :(
I've been fixing bugs since the contest ended. Once it's done, I will try to post the 'actually working' version.
I've put up a new version, with actual gameplay! You're right on the lighting. I need to get some textures in there, so it's not all gray, then put some scoring in so there is a reason to continue. A little bit at a time.
No, sadly the pre 1.0 version was pretty light on features. I really only had time to get the flying and the diving/climbing working. I'm hoping to get a 1.2 build out next week, with fuel, scoring, and maybe some plan upgrades
Nice work! You did a good job invoking space harrier. Sadly, I was never any good at that...
I was watching you build this while I was working on mine. I am shamed. This is a great job for all the more time that it took. I hope to at some point get good enough at this stuff that I can turn out something of that quality in that timeframe.
Not my cup of tea, but I like the presentation
Nice Art, and cool Idea
I wasn't really able to get it to control right, but the graphics and animation are nice
No luck getting it to run
Ran a little slow for me, but it looked good.
Great Job!
Nice work
Couldn't get it to work
Great work. The controls are a little odd, but it's very well done
Looks neat, and neat idea, but I don't have the ambidexterity to play it
well the big missing element is the enemies. I had intended there to be many enemies roaming the board. If you see the little brown piles of dirt littered on the ground, those contain treasure and power ups. So, the idea was to get as much treasure and upgrades as you could. You would have to fight the enemies to get it. The Board player would be able to direct the enemies. To try to overwhelm you or outflank you. I had an idea about a fog of war type thing.. so that if the world player knew the board player was there, he could try to get to a square that the board player hadn't unlocked yet, and then the Board player wouldn't have such a huge advantage. I was thinking of a system where the more 'skill' a board player had, the more things they could do to the world player.. the faster they could unlock squares.. that kind of thing
Great idea, and execution. Fine use of Acro-Catic :) I like the playing with time idea, it's a fun mechanic in this context
Good riff on Asteriods, with lots of new mechanics. I couldn't get behind the control scheme though.. not sure why but I just didn't get into it. Great work for 48 hrs though
I like the idea, that the pictures reveal things, but having found out that the brick were green, what then? plus I coudln't really get all the picture in view.. just part of it
Nice work. The look is cool, and the idea is cool too. The controls are a little wonky, but that's the only problem I saw.
