Hay, this program looks familiar. nice to see i am not the only one that made a twine game for LD28. I like the story and idea. The moral is nice too, only wish you could do a bit more with your gold. Keep at it, i would like to see where this story ends.
this idea looks fun, but confusing. I think you would need to practice a bit before you got the hang of it. I wish i could play it with a second player but right now im all alone :(. anyway i watched the video as well to get an idea of play. verry impressive game, can't wait to try it out properly when i have a friend around.
fun but the computer cheats XD. ok so ai is hard, i know, but otherwise the controll and movement of the boat feels right out of one of the old top down racers. Add a couple of corses and you would have one fun game here. verry loose theme but thats fine.
verry interesting idea and visually you have done alot. The controlls are verry slipery though and tank controlls dont really work, although i can see whay you used them. nice game, but needs work.
Awsome little game. Really enjoyed it but wish there was more tension. Maybe if the zombies agro radius was larger then the tension would be better. otherwise loved the idea, art and audio.
If this was made in eight hours i feel that something great could have come out of the full 48. Well I hope your next jam turns out better.
Nice idea, but i think the implimentation of the jam theme kind of ruins this game. Only getting one missle makes this anticlimactic. Maybe if you had to go through a level before coming to the boss. Just an idea :D
verry nice looking but really hard to play. the trails and ripples make cool effects but i can barely see what is going on its too hectic for me. otherwise its pretty good.
Great little game, love the use of theme as you can only use each ability once. Think our robot friend looks amazing. as well as the on screen propts. Love that there is more than one way to get through the level. All around amazing game, just wish there was more.
I thought this was really good. Humor was great (well i thought so anyway). Theme was only there for fleeting appearences but added to the humor so that was fine. A fun little experience.
Awsome little text game. Makes me wish i had used ren'py instead of twine if i had known. fun little dialoge between two characters with a maze puzzle thrown in for good mesure. Bravo.
Nice idea, im getting some odd bugs though. Its probibly my computer as the screen shots make it look fine. what i decifered looked good as well.
your right, making something is better than not making anything. I was in the position of lerning twine over the weekend and the tutorials there are, are actually quite good. The program is actually farely simple and a basic knowlage of programming will get you understanding it if your one of the people who comes from a programming background. Even a "basics about code class" will give you an idea about most of the features. Anyway i digress, a meta game about writing a game is an interesting idea, but each of the options are basically success or fail and are fairly clearly stamped. A one track road isn't a bad thing you just have to give the player some reason for being there other than this basic option. I think bringing up that your narrator says that woman can't make games is a good way of spurring a discussion about social lables, but you might want to follow it up with something so it dosen't feel like a personal accusation for the players just in case. Like a warning about it. I like the game in general, but you may need to focus the story a bit more and write metaphorically to give people a sence of what the narrator is feeling. anyway keep at writing twine games, i have enjoyed seeing them through this jam and you can get plenty of writing practice with twine.
fun game, i havent tryed with a friend but i bet it would be more fun. I think you may need a bigger arena or smaller targets as i could leave the turrets in the same position for the majoraty of the game. otherwise great little game.
nice game. The use of twine is great, and the management sim idea is good. I used twine for the competition, but i didnt manage to play much with the formatting before submission. I always love a good text game.
really impressive little game. Loved the music and the idea. Its fun to play and looks pretty good too (although you may want to check the cyleing of the background star map). Ether way really nice little game.
fun game, nice graphics, good music and sound effects. Well done.
Nice little game. Needs a little more veriaty, but enjoyable none the less. The theme dosent seem to be present though, but i may have just missed the point.
i have had a play and i love logic gate puzzles, but i can't figure out the goal of the level. I might just be missing something. a bit more of a tutorial would be nice but otherwise it looks like it functions properly. Well done
verry nicely made but i think your right about it needing the substance to keep playing. It reminds me of the ur-quan masters. anyway verry tidaly implimented with nice visuals and an interesting introduction. well done
simple but can keep you entertained for ONE min (sorry not a funy joke). Yea i like it, just wish there was some replayability like a scorboard or something. I know you only did this in an hour but some veriaty and compatition and you would have a solid enough game. good job :D
Awsome game, looks like its come right off the Game Boy. It is really hard, would be nice if the target acted like a hole in minigolf but still an awsome little game.
Awsome game. Loved the music, thought the idea was amazingly simple, and the level design was good too. More please with polish and packaging. Well done :D
Interesting idea, but its a bit slow. It could do with everything running a bit faster.
fun little puzzle game, nice idea for cristmas.
simple, but fun and looks good. a little variation in enemys and bosses would have been great though. i thought the art assets really capture the idea of the game though.
Really nice game. loved how the theme fit into the quick story but i think the theme subtracted from the experience and maybe a health system should be added instead. Controlls where also a bit slipery and the bats AI seemed a bit strage at times. All and all a verry nicely made game with good enemy and level veriaty. Well done.
Good game, really impressed with the way it looks and plays. struggeling with the spatula and the knife and, the mouse clicks acted slowly but apart from that the control was good. Impressive amount of work done for 48 hours.
Awsome idea but really hard. the graphics and sound where good . The only thing i would suggest going forward is a better discription of how the game works. took me a few attempts to just understand the mechanics after the text at the beginning.
fun idea and i love the gameboy like graphics. verry hard but thats fine, challange is fun. range of obsticals is great and music and sound effects are nice. Great marioesk game.
intresting, but there isnt much play in it. music and the intro screen is nice though.
nice enjoyable game. I liked the sound effects especially.
Really fun game. Nice idea, well implimented, good music and visuals. the veriaty of eniemys is nice and the theme fits perfectly. Well done. Its really hard but thats fine, not alot of testing can be done in the timeframe.
awsome game, funny concept and good method of making it into a game. Loved the sillyness, and the music was pretty good too. I had a ball... (sorry bad pun) XD
Awsome game, nice idea, good sound, good visuals. All you have to do is clean it up a bit so the movement isnt as clunky. i dont see the theme, unless its you only get one life, but its not a big deal. Looking forward to seeing more from you guys.
verry nice game. nice circuit bord text, and the idea is interesting. Its a bit hard to see but that might be my screen. Puzzle wise i think you might have to add more mechanics to give playes a few choices but otherwise nicely made game.
fun little game about timing and management. I like the idea about the classic fairy story being used and the characetured dwarves.
Fun little puzzler with some pretty impressive animated models. Story and music is nice too.
Fun cristmas game. Music and lighting was verry effective, and the idea is fun. 21300 was my best score
awsomely silly little platformer. loved in introduction of other hospital patrons who get in the way. well done.
interesting idea, i would say have a look at other stealth games and see what you can take out from them. Most stealth games function on frantic level designs with plenty of places to hide. I do like you get taken down in one shot though.
nice game, you only get one life and you have to live it to the full is a good mesage. Maybe you can give the players some insentive to get some blocks and not others. if you had time maybe add a randomly generated story based on what you did when after you have finished.
nice idea but is verry difficult to play if you are playing alone. also its not got much of a goal or puzzle apart from place wall to get to eye, but that might not have been added yet. I your planning on taking this further you might want to add a maze or something for players to work through. Also i like that you can only play once before the game gets reset, but its verry restrictive. Works with the theme but like alot of the games i have played during this, the theme kinda holds it back. I do love the idea and multiplayer elements though.
Great idea, and work well as puzzle mechanics. Needs a few more levels, but other than that its a fantastic little game.
Really good fun, just wish the spikes and bombs where more useful. A longer countdown on the porting points would be nice too, most of the time i got to the point slightly to late and the darn thing disappeared.
I cant get this to work, it doesn't seem to be generating resources at all. I like the idea though at it looks like a lot of fun.
Interesting hacking, and interesting concept.
I really liked this concept, especially the mouse which tells you how many connections you have left. The puzzles themselves do seem a bit simplistic though. Ether way, well done.
Needs a little more instruction but other then that it seemed awesome. Whoever is getting the floor with all 5 fruits available will be happy.
Really nice little game. A bit finicky to get what you want where but otherwise very enjoyable.
Oh god, another cookie clicker. Welp, there goes another couple of hours of my day. I don't know why these types of games are so hypnotizing, but ether way good job. I was entirely enthralled. Also loved the fact that the game plays itself after you max out everything. XD
Interesting sim
If the GUI was out of the way and the towers didn't explode so quick then this could be good.
Nice looking and sounding. The lack of control was a bit disappointing though, our rounds just turned into spam the fire button and hope. Nice job non the less, it sure looks nice.
I liked the minigames, very warioware like. Unfortunately overall I just got really confused and had no idea what what I was doing.
Amazing game, I am truly impressed about how polished it looks after such a short amount time. Also thanks again for what you did for my submission.
It's simple, but serviceable. Would have liked to have seen more levels but two, but it seems fine as a concept. Good job
The universe is impressive but the controls could use some work. Also i was having trouble moving the ship around and getting them into orbit. Still, nice entry.
Interesting idea, but it is kinda a game about stalling the inevitable. I'm not sure if it was a bug, but the creatures where shivering in the middle of summer with the sun in the sky and no clouds.
Thanks for having a look Yoda, I switched the link name like you suggested.
All spells are attached to spellcasters first, then cast on other units. If might has been cast on a spellsword then the might transfers on a clash like any other spell attached to a spell sword (even if this would put it on an enemy unit). If the U turn is cast on an opponents spellcaster, and that spellcater enters your control, then you can cast the spell again next turn as if it was readied this turn instead (Spells that are attached on spell casters by being cast on them have to go through a ready step). If you cast a might on a spellcaster, that spellcaster can cast it again next turn but cannot have another spell attached in the meantime. Each card can only have one spell attached to them, if a spell would attach to a unit and that unit already has a spell attached, then you cant cast a spell on that unit. So for example, if a defender had might attached, then a U-turn spell can't be cast on that defender as it already has a spell attached. Hope this answers some of your questions Ben. :D
WOW, thank you Ben, I cant believe you did this. I'm am amazed at how good it looks and plays. Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner i have been away for a few days. As a response to your questions, yes when a spell is ready you have to cast it. When you cast any spell on a spell caster it cant be cast till next turn. Any spell that doesn't get attached to a unit gets discarded after use.
Also I just found out who you are Benjamin and now I feel truly honored. I am already a big fan of your work. It truly is a small world we live in. XD
I liked this, but it starts off really hard so I couldn't get very far at all. I like the progression of story, and I like the mood.
Nice game. The controls are a bit fiddly as I found myself interacting with people I didn't mean to when playing a the inspector. Reminds me a lot of spy party.
Gotta love a good old fashioned bullet hell shooter. Really love the look of this game and its cylindrical design. some invincibility frames would be nice, but otherwise really well done.
Very nice game, fit the theme in a perfectly odd way.
Bit buggy, but I like the idea.
Awesome little game. It's a bit low to get going, but once it starts to get going it gets really hectic fast.
Very nice game, I liked the concept and the puzzles. The X circles seem a little buggy though. you can click twice in the same spot and always trigger the X circles, whereas actually getting the circles to cross normally doesn't always trigger them. Otherwise an impressive game.
It's nice to see that I wasn't the only one to do a board game this time. The cards look really nice and I like the rule set. I will have to give it a try later when I have someone to play this with.
Nice looking and interesting idea, my only issue is that the controls are very slippery, and jumping kills your momentum. The random levels can make almost impossible jumps too. Other than that you did good.
Little hard to control, but nice idea.
I will have to give this one a try but the ruleset looks sound. Somewhere between Thunderstone and Ascention, with a minecraft theme. Also it's nice to see someone else make a board game, I made one for this LD too. :D
Looks like it could be fun, but I can't get the menus to work. I feel like I am missing out. T.T
